  1. @Nadie Seems a pretty complex topic, if it were simple, I'm sure there'd be no total war. Anyway had a few thoughts. I think drawing a distinction between Aesthetics, Taste & Values is important. Then whether you think as love as being "internal" or "externalise" the emotion. So listening to some of sadguru on Youtube, he puts a lot of focus on internal emotional management as being sane "isn't it?" Three Types of Love 1) Classical Romanticism So would be something like. "Love is our response to virtue, if we are virtuous." Problem, what if you're not virtuous ? As things could be. 2) Byronic Romanticism - Byronic love, idiosyncratic. Not as things are, but as things should be. Perhaps an unholy form of love. Where I'm at. 3) Infinite gooey Love! In reality, I think there is kind of a mixture. Virtues according to David Hume artificial: justice, keeping promises, allegiance, and chastity. natural: benevolence, meekness, charity, and generosity. Love addiction. The origin of the term for addiction means debt slave in Latin. Finance - A means to an end. Only as good as what you do with. Have to decide on things like children lifestyle etc and be forward. Friendship - Need to be based on values, and if you're enslaved you can't really be a friend, thinking of some stuff I read by Aristotle.
  2. @Leo Gura Yeah Leo! YEAH. Why aren't you divine!!!???
  3. Unless you have a direct two way channel of communication & reasoning, are they really your mentors? You might, I don't know.
  4. Well @Pilgrim , only after you eat the peanuts Out of my Shit! Sorry couldn't resist. You seem pretty well put together. Whatever you do, don't lose heart or momentum. "Come and learn to dance".
  5. You might find "In the realm of hungry ghosts" interesting, there's an edition on audible as well.

  7. Over perpetuation, like cancer.
  8. Not until the Fat Lady Sings. I'ain't heard no fat lady!!!
  9. I probably have Schzoid Personality Disorder, although things I've read and people I've talked to, have said it's not a disorder, but personality type, involving odd or eccentric thinking. Probably a point where a personality becomes so disordered; order and disorder no longer apply. Perhaps occuring in various ways. On the same spectrum as Schziophrenia, but without the hallucinations (inwarldy turned libido), not that I don't think most people halluciinate and see what they want to see anyway, 6th Sense style. In contrast I think a psychopath will tend to project their emotions. Being High in conscientiousness, so would probably make good soldiers given discipline, or make a killing and be highly productive in business. Or be figurehead politicians, for society or manipulated behind the scenes as a whole. I think there are various complexes that can develop and be expressed in other personality disorders. Thought the following video was interesting, Is a psychopath born or made? I guess it depends on how the words are applied. Personally I think psychopaths are genetically predisposed, being in general as good or bad as the people surrounding and structuring the lifestyle. Given the rape and violence the girl receievd, I'd think turning the libdio inwards all at once would not be conduicive to survival. Personally I think knowing various attributes can help transcend them, kind of like the movie "Next" starring Nicholas Cage, typecasting.....
  10. Bit of a black sabbath to be reminiscing about politics, though.
  11. WOAH Revolutionary. ALL ABOARD!!!!!
  12. Why isn't there more scrutiny on Bill Clintion for rape though? Also given they managed to go bankrupt despite not managing billions of dollars. Watched a programme on sky news a while a go in the UK, said Trump is actually related to Hillary Clinton through the John of Gaunt line (relative of Richard III) was during the election, found it funny because they were playing sympathy for the devil. "I'm going to give you the choice I never had." I would have voted for Trump, said it was the Iran Nuclear deal the made him run and finance his own campaign for President. Having said that a part of me would have really liked Hillary to have won, either war in the ukraine, Iran with rogue nuclear materials, selling out to the Chinese etc "Don't shoot let'em burn!" Still might happen though. Like when Trump was saying got to hand it to the Korean guy/Rocket man, he kills off his uncle his brother etc. A bit of admiration there. Or Hillary laughing her head off about Gaddfi being sodmozied to death with a bayonet, not really the best way, would have been better if he got strangled to death between the thighs of one of his female guards or something. All good entertainment, just not me(still feel bound for some reason).
  13. @Brittany Being Ideological......is there any opt out clause, to live non ideologically...... Otherwise might as well ape it all.
  14. Anyone who runs is a VC, anyone who stands still is a well disciplined VC.
  15. No, non duality is not an ideology. Religion; as I think I remember Leo saying, is making an Ideology out of non-duality.
  16. Read that Hegelain Dialectic wasn't actually mentioned by Hegel, but refined by later contempories, inspired by his work. Not too familiar with it, although I think it uses a coherence theory of truth, which I think is inelegant. Infinistism seems more viable to me, although not really sure how to approach it. Coherentism: Two foundational beliefs. So a form of foundationalism. The second video I found an interesting explanation, it's timecoded as well. In this case 1) Everything is truth. and 2) Falsehood exists; but if everything is truth falsehood doesn't exist. Thought the follwing video was an interesting explantion of theories of truth.
  17. How is God perfect? What is perfect? Perhaps God is not perfect.
  18. 1) An infinite can only be subdivided by another infinite. So no, 2 absolute infinites can not exist. Absolute Idealism being insanity. 2) I think there is a point where the determinate and indeterminate are transcended. Neither Determinsim nor freewill having validity. The idea of the unicorn being formed from exisiting ideas or impressions, some willing recognised and exposed others not. Kind of like a Trojan Horse.
  19. Sounds like a horror show. "It's not rape if I enjoy it." Anything else than trolling.
  20. @Jacko Was listening to an intro to David Hume "A treatise of Human Nature". The audio book mentioned that he attended the university of Edinburgh at age 12. And that there nothing to be learned from a professor that couldn't be learned more completely from a book.
  21. @ajasatya Yeah usually I try to work with the tools I have. Advice (To see), Stupid (Stupor) Stupor- "A state of near unconsciousness or insensibility." I think that's the thing with the unconsciousness, you don't perceive it, because it's unconscious..... "The Red Book" might help, don't really know, haven't read it (@Cortex mentioned reading it in another post) I think probably more experimental with Jung's own pscyhology.
  22. @ajasatya Not necessarily, contradicting himself. Depends on state.
