Said something about "Spiritual Nihilism", not the whiny millennial version. Which is the equivalent of Buddhism.

@Ampresus Well as the Qu'ran is called the direct dictation of God, go from there. Handy... even in categories. there we go "The Women" between "The Cow" and "The Cattle". 4:4:11. Twice as much property for male heirs, than female...... Nice. 4:4:14 If you disobey any commandments you'll burn in hellfire for ever, no repentance, Allah is most merciful......... Bit Harsh. 4:4:15 Four witnesses required for any shameful acts(illicit fornication) of a woman. 4:4:23 No marrying direct descendants or Nannys. If your wife has a step daughter she is game, but if you go into her, no marriage. 4:4:24 If you lie to your future wife before marriage, that's game. "And there is no blame upon you for what you mutually agree to beyond the obligation."................... I can show you World, shining shimmering splendid....

And the reason that is, is because wisdom can't be taught, it has to be earned. Otherwise, it'll be turned into dogma, and that's exactly what happened with religion. @Truth Addict Yeah could be onto something there. Although you can always instruct people. Which does not have to come with any ideology or Dogma. Dance or driving a car for instance. I don't think that open-mindedness is the equivalent of faith. Plenty of things are taken on belief, a step further would then be to infer their implications and work from the inference and not the belief. An enlightened leader. Plenty of times people have been lead by someone or rather by their ego and are not enlightened. I suppose Buddhism may offer a path to crush the EGO down, allow the self or rather 'no self' to takeover which is more powerful. -

@LoveandPurpose Plenty of more time for hedonism. I regret nothing.....

@Ampresus If they were, wouldn't that technically make a guy homosexual? In contrast to elevate women with feminism means men are cucked.

@Wyze Alcoholism is more of a problem in Eastern Europe. There's probably some problems in the North of the UK in former industrial areas. Extreme thinking; yeah inter-generational trauma is very real I think. Or at least a large degree of repetition. Kind of like karma.

@Thetruthseeker I remember having a hotdog once, in I think Silverton or Leadville Colorado. A bank Wells & Fargo was doing it as part of a marketing scheme to market accounts with the bank. Was on holiday at the time, but I remember the stage coach logo and the free hotdogs. Came to mind because I listened to a Seth Godin speech on youtube and he mentioned Wells and Fargo, in the UK they'd probably be more inclined to say sorry mate, potential clients only, but in less words. I think you got to take it for what it's worth.

In Germany and Austria to a lesser extent, there are a lot of cigarette vending machines, was initially surprised as they are very clean countries. Also a lot of personal vegetable gardens as opposed to allotments. But when you have tens of thousands of people incinerated in firestorms it leaves an effect. Supposedly it also elevates the level of cortisol, for the next generation. One thing with Brits vs Americans, is Brits can have a very dark sense of humour and joke about killing. Americans tend to take things more literally, more similar to the Germans. I've been thinking of ways I might be able to manipulate my EGO. There's a lot of information out there to take in. One the problems with Hinduism is I think it can fragment the Psyche which is not something I'm aiming for. Kundalini according to Jung supposedly leads to EGO inflation. Which is contrast to what I'd like to do, which is deflate the EGO. Perhaps possible through Buddhism, Jainism looks like a complete mess to follow. However, I'm also wary of the intuition of Evil. The only way Evil makes sense to me is through Christianity. Otherwise, there is no such thing. Was looking a bit into Saint Augustine recently, mostly to try and shift my psychology towards being, and not teleology. Anyway, I've been to St Augustine! nice town. 50/50 between Christianity and an unconscious mind, was previously more agnostic and atheistic. There's a Jung reading group channel on Youtube, "Carl Jung Depth Psychology Reading Group". I find it interesting talking to Jung enthusiasts.

Yin the feminine principle is also death. I remember from reading the Tao Te Ching that the military general dresses in Black, where as his lieutenant dresses in white representing the masculine principle. There is something akin to that in "SHE a history of adventure". (was commented on by C.G Jung) the movie is ok anyway. I see a red door and I want it painted black.....

Fly like an Eagle?.... (EGO inflation) Accept it.

@Wyze Because society is regressing. The birth and death rates are insufficient to cull the weak.

Was on about demons in a grocery store.......... I can't remember the title; it's copied now from another thread. Schizophrenia? Like Moths to the flame... For what it's worth. PORTIA Thus hath the candle singed the moth. these deliberate fools! When they do choose, They have the wisdom by their wit to lose. NERISSA The ancient saying is no heresy. Hanging and wiving goes by destiny. -

Like the movie Scarface!! ---------------- Coherence Therapy or a Religion maybe. I'm 50/50 whether there is an unconscious mind or a spirit realm, shouldn't matter much metaphysically. -

Involvement. Not movement. Like having a forum or talking to other spiritual seekers, as part of a larger conversation. -

@ShugendoRa Hate to be like Jordan Peterson here, but it depends on what you mean by great. And I'm coming from a consumer POV, Actualized is more of an exception for me. Quite a few people on the forum have started channels. I know if I were starting a channel I'd like to have more lateral involvement. -
@Azote Maybe there's someone you can talk to outside the family dynamic? Like a priest or counsellor? With forums you don't know a person's tone and sincerity, basically a stranger. Devil in the details perhaps. Ecology is probably not your biggest concern right now. I think if enough people genuinely cared, there wouldn't be so much e-waste, and low efficiency bothering to recycle paper products.
