@OBEler sounds like coping and I don't see for what reason. What Connor Murphy has done doesn't seem like a planned prank at all. More like an authentic mental breakdown needing a professional intervention. Like way, way more.

Current AI is not conscious, it's intuitively obvious. Of course it depends on what paradigm of thinking about consciousness you assume, but in the layman's understanding of what consciousness is we can say it's not conscious. It's a tool trained on human data to make connections. And that's all it does, makes connections between existing content. Mixing and remixing content in a frivolous manner. Even if it were conscious, you wouldn't be able to guess it from what it writes, because that's not its inside "thoughts". That's regurgitated human bullshit mostly.

If your handwriting is ok, then OCR software might be able to read it. Can't give you any solid recommendation though. I use MathPix for math equations, and ABBY Fine Reader for scanned printed pages. I don't know the best app for handwritten notes. But, you can go very far just doing photos of your notes with a proper smartphone app. Like vFlat. A good smartphone scanning app will output really small files.

Nothing of this sort. You go into a long-term relationship to explore what it means to be in a long term relationship. Be aware, that if you have not been in one then you are talking out of your ass on this topic. Long-term partner is the best friend and lover in one. There's so much cool stuff in life that two can do, so many adventures to go on.

What other paradigm would you propose. You had to have something in mind before you started this thread. It has to be something with similar explanatory potential. Explaining similar issues to a similar or greater degree. Or something with a much greater explanatory potential on different issues, but incompatible with Developmental Psychology. Postmodernism is not that. And to be fair, framing developmental psychology as a paradigm is not the best idea. It's a smaller thing that's compatible with many different paradigms, you can make developmental psychology into something that suits postmodernist paradigm - developmental psychology with a postmodernist flavor. Otherwise the further discussion is pointless, nothing less than exchanging opinions of little weight. The fact that something can be deconstructed doesn't mean it has to. Models that describe development of the psyche or social change understood as progress hold quite a lot of explanatory power. They are useful tool in a tool box of anyone contemplating reality, one's I wouldn't do without. There are other tools and perspectives to. One can hold many of them in mind. Thus I don't see a reason for deconstructing this particular one.

And Ukrainians share cultural and historic backgrounds with Poland, who is a member of the EU. Why favourize one-side of the conflict. There's no balnce between perspectives there. Integrating with the EU is the more popular option among Ukraine's people from what I know.
-
I think it's not about NATO. The war would have happened even to stop the process of Ukraine possibly becoming the EU member. It's mainly a conflict about loosing power over Ukraine and not military imbalance. Ukraine has ports and natural resources and farmlands and russian gas infrastructure. It's as much a conflit about trade as about military and political power.

That has been my point, morality is not important here. There is a multitiude of other practical issues that make incest not possible on a mass scale. You yourself can do whatever you want. Society won't accept that though.

Life is truly weird. I have been super skeptical about AI for the last ten years, but now all this stuff changing at lightning fast speeds I am not so sure of my position anymore. I think the answer to OP's robot question is the same as for animal farming. It doesn't matter to people what the truth is if it seriously benefits them.

You can go and be a monk after you make a circle of great friends. Only after that.

Guys, how blind. The first argument against incest is the existence of power hierarchies, in society, but also in the family. Approving of having sex with your family is some hardcore post-modernist position, nothing to do with morality, it messes with a crucial structure of society. If you don't see how that can lead to pathologies, then I don't know what to tell you. Imagine a powerless daughter under despotic father and normalization of incest sex at the same time. This is not a fair dynamic. It would lead to enormous amounts of abuse. Second argument is, even if everything is consensual, having sex with you family members stiflles growth of the individual. Sexual interaction with people outside of your inner circle is what grows a person, one of the strongest growth motivators (until it does its job and finally grow you as a human being to some reasonable degree of maturity). Having sexual gratification guaranteed by your family is counter to that process.

@Thought Art Let people learn science. Then it makes sense to discuss scientific models. -

Tolle has great guru skills, his way of talking is very calming. A good entertainer. He wins the comparison in terms of who is nicer to listen to. Adyashanti is an intellectual with great talks. His thoughts are way more cognitively stimulating. Tolle is not that bright in terms of analysis and conceptual thought. -
There is no reason to mess with anything else than with proven electric vapes. No glass, no fire. Either use a vape that can vape eliquid or something that can vape oil or something that is constructed with DMT in mind like the e-mesh method from Minty Love.
-
Vape constructions that use soaked cotton hit stronger I think. Higher wattage also helps Also what is your concentration of 5-MeO in your vaping juice? If you are not satisfied with strength of your puffs, then your vape juice might be weak.

MDMA being neurotoxic is mostly a myth. I have researched this issue after hearing about it on Hamilton Morris' podcast. (Great resource, 100% recommended, you can find it either on Spotify [only some episodes] or Patreon, better than Leo's videos [in terms of entertainment]) I believe the issue had been mentioned in the episode with David Nichols (the OG psychedelics chemist). Maybe in a few other episodes, too.

@SQAAD Maan, it has this classification because it's 1. first a drug you don't want to get into your system accidentally, 2. a little bit irritating. The danger listed here is that you will have a little bit irritated nostrils if you snort it. That's all. All routes of administrations are good, it's like a normal drug. Every drug can have those safety hazards ascribed to them. I am not talking about psychedelic drugs, I am talking about every drug you can buy at a pharmacy. There's nothing unique about 5-MeO-MALT.

Two weeks are realistic for someone with little experience, if you leave home environment. -
Cartoons are great, maybe the Disney ones are not the deepest. But... Song of the Sea, or the Wolfwalkers, those cartoons depict life consciously. And in a form that even 5 yo kid can follow. Pure beauty to watch on a psychedelic.

Ginger or Lemon or Kola nut. Every substance that blocks 5ht3 receptors from interacting with tryptamine helps with nausea.

We need both oil and copious amount of materials for batteries. There's no discussion on either one of that, really. That's why humanity as a whole continues to extract more and more of the resources. We are in such a situation that abruptly stopping any of these processes would have consequences much more dire for civilization than deaths in cobalt mines or oil spills into environment. Apart from that, the issue with those mines is capitalism and government, not the fact of mining cobalt itself. And to top it, new battery chemistries are slowly being deployed commercially, moving on from lithium-cobalt chemistry. So this discussion framed in that way has no point. There are better ways to discuss these issues.

I remember reading a similar poem by Rumi in my language (Polish) and it have had a different vibe. -

Why is this thread even this long? I feel like the correct reaction to this thread should have been, "Ah, okay, interesting statement, I will be waiting for future content." Why the need to argue with Leo on that? No-one should believe him on word in the first place. It's a new perspective to look at the world with. One of many a person can hold. It's not something you should adopt as your personal belief. -
@Bobby_2021 Then you are wrong.

@Bobby_2021 I think it is. There are many similar parody accounts. What is your evidence for this one being real?
