  1. I am only so vehemently opposed to saying that it doesn't need dietary modifications, because people here often don't have "standard diets", but are trying many whacky things and supplement weird stuff. And because you have said it doesn't need ANY dietary restrictions. It does, at least some. I can agree with that if you eat some eggs and grains with veggies everyday, then yeah, you probably don't need to change your diet in any way. Let's say it needs some dietary precautions. I think that we can agree on. Here is information on moclobemide. Everything here applies to harmala alkaloids too: https://www.mayoclinic.org/drugs-supplements/moclobemide-oral-route/side-effects/drg-20064888?p=1#:~:text=Descriptions,MAO) in the nervous system. BTW, you know what, the fact you have used ChatGPT in this forum conversation gave me an idea. What if I were to use ChatGPT to civilize my posts and improve their readability? I think I will start doing that, so thank you for inspiration.
  2. Then your book is wrong. Cite the name at least if you want to use it as a proof. Less stringent dietary requirements =/= no dietary requirements. This is called taking a risk. It's like you driving a car without a seatbelt and telling us nothing bad happened. That's okay, it's your life, just don't lie to others that driving without seatbelts is safe.
  3. People habits might be different. Someone might gulp a big cocoa milkshake beforehand, because they love cocoa.
  4. @LSD-Rumi First, what the hell? Since when ChatGPT is a source to cite? Second, it has told you what I have told you. You need to follow dietary restrictions and watch out for drug interactions on all MAOIs. Third, harmala alkaloids is exactly what is found in ayahuasca. Ayahuasca needs dietary restrictions = taking harmala alkaloids by themselves needs dietary restrictions. Or maybe, do you want to argue ayahuasca needs no restrictions? Please, stop derailing the topic and get informed.
  5. @LSD-Rumi You are wrong for a few reasons. Seligiline is an irreversible MAOi. Seligiline has dietary restrictions for tyramine in diet, like all MAO inhibitors. It's a two second Google search away to find out. https://www.webmd.com/drugs/2/drug-13489-8041/selegiline-oral/selegiline-oral/details (click on the "Interactions" tab) Harmine and Harmaline ARE NOT Seligiline. You can't compare drugs of a completely different structure like this. Look at them, they are nothing alike. Irreversible means that the molecule destroys the enzyme and the drug acts until the body replenishes the supply. Reversible potentially acts shorter and it could be reversed in some critical medical situation, by your own body, or medics if they know what to do in that emergency. You are mistaking "I will probably not die" with "This is safe and recommended." No, not abiding by the dietary guidelines is laziness and taking unnecessary health risks.
  6. @LSD-Rumi it requires dietary restrictions because it is MAOi. It being a reversible inhibitor has nothing to do with that, it’s a nerd fact for pharmacology nerds. Be careful when spreading info about topics you are poorly informed on. Misinformation is dangerous.
  7. I would try making an e-liquid in PG then vaping a little bit, let the begin start then vape some more, and some more. Tolerance? That’s the point, vaping a little and building small instant tolerance eases the entry. E-liquid is important part of the process because it’s a mild smoke, no fire and you don’t have to reload the pipe.
  8. @Chew211 This Pook guy is a seriously toxic mf. I wouldn't touch that with a ten-feet pole. I second watching infields, they are the best. RSD Max has a lot of infields with breakdowns of what he is doing. Todd Valentine also, And I believe more RSD guys have their own infields. You can find quite a lot of material. Focus on those infields/hotseats where there's more action on the screen and less author's comments. They usually waste half the time of commenting on upselling their products anyways.
  9. @Danioover9000 I am not saying you are a Trump supporter, I am saying you are stretching what sitting president can do in such matters. Yes, president has a lot to say, but can’t pull such stuff out of thin air. You say it’s not early enough for such powerful figure. Others say that Trump has been free for too long l, precisely because he is a powerful figure. Somehow, somehow Trump had become a president years ago. America is crazy.
  10. @Danioover9000 you talk like Biden is the legal system and has a say what happens and when. What is he, a senile puppet or some dark with lord running the show from behinds? Because I am getting a little bit confused by too many incongruent narratives of anti-Biden folks.
  11. @001 There are no “light” psychedelics. It’s all dose dependent. I would argue that mushrooms are more hardcore than DMT because they last a few hours and DMT state is gone in minutes.
  12. @Yimpa And what exactly does it mean?
  13. Have you ever taken a high dose of a psychedelic? Take 10 grams of mushrooms and come back saying there it's something anybody can do and turn it into a beneficial experience. Assuming you have to courage to take that journey.
  14. @VictorB02 It's not, you are being reactive, polarizing and derailing the discussion. Your opinions are not important, it's the way you express them. You start with name-calling politicians pedophiles, then give zero argumentation and examples on which Trumps policies were good in particular and which Biden's policies are wrong, and why. Just stirring shit. If I were interested in stirring shit I would be working at a water treatment plant.
  15. @VictorB02 Trump's a very cognitively healthy idiot, I agree. This is a Cornel West topic. Not "everyone I don't like is a pedophile" topic. And to get this thread back on its legs, I think the worst offense of this candidate is not hinting towards the policy direction he would take as an actual president. Everyone can say "I will do good things", the point is to say what those things are so people can evaluate them. At least those people who care about something more than optics and supporting a "cooler" or "less evil" candidate.
  16. I wouldn’t say there is any kind of drought.
  17. By laying off staff, there’s no-one here to label hate speech as hate speech, thus twitter = no hate speech. Great success! - Elon Musk, probably
  18. Fun fact: the person who coined this phrase is not Darwin, but August Comte, the grandfather of sociology who also has came up with the name of the discipline. He wanted it be called “social physics”, but that name had been already taken, so sociology it is.
  19. Everything I eat looks like this or even more messy but yeah, if paying I would prefer regular sushi
  20. These aren’t all coding languages. HTML is markup, it’s like pointing to the text in Word document and telling it this is a header. CSS is like choosing in Word how the text should look like. PHP is a programming language to code stuff you don’t want your users to see, like stuff that manages account logging, access to paid content and stuff. JavaScript can also do that but only when using a special framework, which you need to learn additionally on top of just knowing JavaScript, otherwise JavaScript is for basic interactive stuff on the website. MySQL is a way to communicate with a database, like saving changes in a Word document. So only PHP and JavaScript are proper languages. It’s weird you dream of making a website and haven’t checked the basics of how the internet works. There’s a shit-ton of educational videos on YT. But yes you should learn all that stuff on codecademy, it’s an okay choice of learning platform. But tell us please why do you need a website. I teach English to people maybe I can give you some better ideas to start a language business.
  21. I think Gallimore has a great diplomatic stance on the realness of the psychedelic experience that builds bridges between staunch rationalists and woo-woo hippies. Or at least doesn’t aggravate too much any of these sides.
  22. So it's not even that you don't get attention form males, it's just that you would like to be prettier? Just be aware that it's all in your character and has little to do with external reality. It's a problem of your own making, as you are both the person who wants to look good for herself and the person lamenting about it taking a lot of work. No-one's forcing you to value physical attractiveness, nor good style. You are an adult and these are values you have chosen as worthy of pursuing. You can either stop complaining or change your values. I don't see any other way out.
  23. @Husseinisdoingfine I think that developing curriculums for language teachers and materials is more important than creating a website. Have you ever taught language to someone? And when it comes to your question, yes you absolutely want to learn JavaScript if you want to do anything online, and PHP if you want to earn money by doing projects for others, until you start earning anything form doing your own thing.
  24. I can take the definition you posted, it’s okay. I don’t need to craft any custom one. The problem is with you trying to use it to prove whatever it is you are trying to prove. I, THE consciousness, can be aware of myself. You are just a product of my imagination in this line of reasoning. Your understanding is not the same as my understanding, because you are not real and not really understanding. And this is as valid reasoning as what you are trying to reason into. So you need something much stronger than those verbal games to settle this question for yourself. For me personally, this discussion of no benefit. It is about your approach towards this work. It would do you good to go explore more, practice more.
  25. Dictionary is not the Buddha. What else can be said? Some mainstream concepts are faulty when it comes to metaphysics. Would you really expect a random lexicographer to understand the deepest mysteries of the Universe? Nothing to take from them, they are great guys. Just not the best option to consult when you are trying to refine your understanding of ultimate reality. Leo’s work builds upon classic non-duality and only then discards it. I think it would do you good if you studied non-duality for a little bit more. Rupert Spira for example or whoever you vibe with. We wouldn’t be having this discussion if you had done your homework. It’s also the reason why Leo dismissed this thread in the beginning, in my opinion.
