  1. @Starlight321 Frozen is okay. Frozen veggies is a very different thing than a meat-soy burger patty from a supermarket.
  2. @Princess Arabia Hell, now I want a tshirt with cartoon style Mike Tyson tripping on 5-MeO
  3. Actually, I would happily wear a t-shirt with big Actualized.org logo. It would be my must-wear item to all the music festivals and yoga classes.
  4. I don't think too many people are worried about total extinction, but loosing complexity, both in terms of our civilization but also complexity of natural ecosystems like oceans. or suffering of a billion people living in the places with the harshest conditions. These are terrible and catastrophic on their own.
  5. I always joke that I know the secret key of how girls work. They want good food and good fun. The girls always like act fake-offended or are amused and can add "you forgot about something-something" to which I can say "yeah, and also ... (something that is funny and can also be neggy that matches this particular person)".
  6. I have nothing of much value to add. Just wanted to say that there's a great game of which the main character is a psychotic women travelling through the nordic hell, called Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. Really great artistic experience and kind of makes the player understand how a psychotic mind works, a little bit, can improve someone's empathy on that topic I think.
  7. @Snader Unless you have read too many of them in your life. There is a point at which self-help material becomes insufferable, unless it's one of the best self-help books ever. Too many books that are just poor and made on the model of find a niche, write a good marketing copy, write as fast as possible, release, repeat. I find it to be a very shitty business model when it comes to delivered value, but sadly good for profits. For me such books hold no value, the world would be a better place if they just didn't exist. Fuck capitalism. End of the rant.
  8. @Hardkill Have you really just compared giant oil exporters like Saudi Arabia with a failed state with no oil rigs like Lebanon?
  9. Centering your life around pickup sounds like such a waste of life. But for some time, as an episode, why not?
  10. @Chives99 Like running in races! In the forest, in the city, any type of running. A lot of single women of all ages attending these. And you also has a guarantee that she is doing something interesting in her life, that is running in the competitions
  11. So, hows the concept holding that life started somewhere in the cosmos when all the materials and conditions in the universe were different, maybe more favorable to spontaneous apperence of life and then life came to Earth already made? Does any serious/famous scientist consider it be a probable scenario?
  12. Kind of was. I have lasted the period until getting vaccinated and vaccine starting to work before I caught coronavirus for the first-time. So in case it was a terrible shit and the situation evolved in a dangerous direction, a lot of people got semi-protected in-time.
  13. There's a church in Portland that has Spiral Dynamics by Don Beck and The Religion of Tomorrow by Ken Wilber as recommended readings. https://www.pearlchurch.com/recommended-books I have also heard once about a church that had invited yoga people and held a yoga class inside the church for the believers.
  14. Some psychedelics can cause very strong vasoconstriction that is dangerous with substances that last very long. 5-MeO-MALT or 5-MeO-DMT should be relatively safe in that regard.
  15. @Yimpa I, like most humans I believe, am attracted to many people, even though I choose on purpose to stay in a commited relationship with a single person. I could imagine myself being a cheater if I hadn’t had the morals I have. Or being in a polyamory situation, if I were living in a society where there already are well-established, widely known rules of behaving in such relationships, you know where it is in the social contract and you don’t have to negotiate everything and figure out solutions to all the problems that arise in polyamorous relationships. So my monogamy is cultural, not biological. Someone with very strong monogamous tendecies would for example bond with a person and stay with them till their death and even after their death would not look for another partner. That’s how I see it.
  16. I am not a natural born monogamous person, but I would never get into a poly relationship. Sounds so complicated to manage few relationships at the same time. Not for the introverted folks, I guess.
  17. Like Trump is done, well-done, so well steamed-cooked the meat comes off the bones by itself. America is insane, but I don't think as insane as to vote him into the office again. Funny thing is, I think his chances are super low mainly not because of all the charges, but because he is a sore loser. People don't like voting for losers. Biden has the bonus of being a decent human and the winner of the last election.
  18. Whose work or what papers are you referring to in this sentence?
  19. @OBEler My argument was you know shit about industry, global economy engineering and what real-world efficiency means. Then on top of that, it also doesn’t make sense from the perspectice what most humans value in life. Betting on developing efficent AI and humanoid robots combo capable of performing at the human level in the next few decades is a ludicrous bet. You are detached, I am grounded. You completely dismiss the complexity of what you are proposing and the cost of that complexity. Cost we have no way of paying as humanity right now or it makes no sense to pay it. And before you say „history has proven tech sceptics wrong many times before”… You are not proposing trains faster than 60mph, you are proposing flying cars by 2015.
  20. Ukraine always has been this country right in the middle. That's what the name of the country means, it's the border lands. They are quite close in culture to Polish people, their language sounds similar, Western part of the country has been historically mainly populated by Polish and Jewish people, but they are Orthodox and use cyrylic alphabet so that's what pushes it a little bit to the Russia's side.
  21. They are very tasty! So not a bad addition to your diet. Mushroom proteins and beta-glucans are very valuable diet components.
  22. I have had better mental game for psychedelics when I was doing them often than I have now. It's a skill you kind of lose if you don't trip often. Like tripping twice a year, you will never learn to properly direct your mind during the trip. You have to do a three months of tripping every two weeks at least to get skilled at controlling your trips and be well-accustomed to tripping.
  23. @Ramanujan I also hype SRS (space-repetition software). It’s just that Anki or RemNote are better options than SuperMemo in particular. They do the same but better.
  24. Because whenever God stumbles about something other, it turns out it's just another part of Itself. That's the meaning of being limitless.
  25. Yeah, I have slowed down with it for a few years at like 23, I think. Got side effects from too much Kriya Yoga, also psychedelics have siphoned out too much motivation out of me. Maybe I will get back in the game in the 30s, right now I am trying to live my life to the fullest and realize non-spiritual life purpose.
