My brother sent me this over text . Interesting ideas... "Implications of Cathar Beliefs" The idea that human beings were sparks of light trapped in tunics of material flesh had a number of logical consequences: Procreative sex was bad, since conception would result in another soul being trapped. For this reason, normal sex between man and wife was as bad as any other procreative sex. Marriage was worthless, while contraception was regarded with approval. Also, there was no reason to condemn any form of non-procreative sex. The less one had to do with evil (ie material) things, the better. Eating animals, or animal products, was particularly abhorred, though fish were allowed (as they were thought to reproduce asexually and were not therefore able to imprison a soul). The sooner we can shed this tunic of flesh, the sooner our souls could be free to fly like a spark of light back to heaven, the realm of the good God. There was therefore no reason to discourage suicide. There was not any reason to regard men as better than women. The important part, the soul, was the same. Only the vile material body was different. Since material objects were creations of the Bad God, it was absurd to imagine that they could be of any virtue. So, for example, jewels, money, relics, the Eucharist, reproductions of the cross, and church buildings were of no value whatsoever. Similarly the Catholic teaching about resurrection of the body was absurd. The very idea of a physical body in heaven was ridiculous. Further, it was not plausible that the Good God would send anyone from his realm into the evil material world of the Bad God. Jesus must therefore have been a sort of phantom, looking like a man but in fact immaterial. Anyone who attached great value to material things was at best mistaken and at worst a disciple of the Bad God. It was no secret that the Pope was the richest man in Europe. Cardinals, bishops and priests lived in great luxury and dressed in gorgeous robes. Worse, the Roman Church encouraged the worship of material objects such as the relics of saints. And worse yet it venerated the cross - not only a material object but also an instrument of torture. There was no escaping the logical conclusion. Roman Catholics were worshipping the wrong God - the God of Evil who had created this world. The behaviour of devout Catholics seemed to confirm this conclusion. Carthars referred to the Roman Church as the Church of Wolves. -

This comes to mind.... You can't find what you are looking for because what you are looking for is looking for itself. Then you realize that you cannot find yourself because there is no self. .. after that crickets.. ;p -

Allow your thoughts to drown you.. sounds counter-intuitive but let it Be. The thoughts won't stop anyways so just allow them to be and watch them as if you were watching a Movie. But don't identify with the thoughts aka the movie just remember you are the watcher of thoughts/the movie. Practice mindfulness everyday always 24/7 then your awareness will expand , it will help a ton you just gotta do it ... -

So this whole idea of letting it go seems like an illusion. You can only let go of what is already gone , so in a sense there is nothing to let go of . So it's more of acceptance. Accepting that you have no control and cannot hold on or let go . They seem like opposites of the same pole. Even acceptance looks illusory because there is nothing to accept there is just Truth. You cannot add or subtract from truth ,TRUTH IS before we spin any stories about it . It's like Desire. Fulfilling desires always takes place in the future so it does not allow you to be (happy) now. So if you want to be happy , you are unable to be happy because happiness must come later , in the future after you get or accomplish what you want. And if you are unhappy you desire to stop this unhappiness . Desire is pretty much wanting and as always our wants are not here now so we are suffering until we get our wants/desires. Wanting and not wanting are really two sides of the same coin . So you could want someone in your life and you can also want to NOT want a person in your life. The key to this is not to desire. But then immediately you will see that you desire not to desire lollers! Do you see it? ... Is this easy to see? or just nonsense monkey chatter @Leo Gura -

@Leo Gura "Everything you are saying are just stories , stories upon stories .. what makes your story more TRUE than mine? Your thoughts are also concepts blah blah blah .. if the truth cannot be communicated why are you speaking " blah blah blah blah ... i hear this all the time when they want me to shut up -
Anarchy! "Anarchism does not mean chaos and violence or every man for himself. Simply put, anarchism does mean that no one is your master and no one is your slave."

Anyways thats true nobody wants to hear a dude yelling at them . lollers The funny part is that i stumbled upon your meditation / mindfulness videos while being high . Haha I couldn't put my judgements asides about this "weird guy" telling me that everything is im doing is wrong.. until one day i got high on, helped me just relax and decided to give your video another shot . The mindfulness concept about stepping outside of yourself and seeing yourself in a nonjudgemental way really shocked me !! I could see how I would interpret events and start storytelling all day. I was always storytelling / daydreaming mostly all day... We are prisoners of the mind ! I can't believe it seriously .... Is the Human condition really that what we believe we are is only a thought ! -

Its a war based pure beliefs. There is nothing to prove or win . That's what they don't get , always trying to prove a point and trying to convince me. If you try to have a conversation they get upset or annoyed because I don't have scientific background or resources only empirical experience. And when you tell them that you are not trying to argue they think I'm trying to be evasive. Yeah it is seen as negative to not know. Not knowing enables us to have space to know but they like to reject it because being seen like someone who is not knowledgeable is not acceptable / damaging to their self-image. -

yes i stopped watching his videos altogether after the 2nd enlightenment video. I was so angry at what he said. I was like wtf! This guy is FUCKN crazy! THis shit is stupid and crazy and it got me depressed. I was depressed for about a whole month again after thinking i was over depression. haha But it was fear ... Fear is a big one.. You are scared that your entire life is a lie. Which it is.. its a big fat lie. And its so obvious once you are able to see it. -

I find it fascinating how much scientific belief/theory is Considered to be the TRUTH or FACTS because "its the closest scientific explanation we have right now" . But its treated like the Truth even if it is just Theories. I've had so many Scientific Minded people say that its been proven by scientists , or studies blah blah ... They talk about how much they know but everything they "know" is conceptual information. They have no first hand experience . How is that scientific at all? They read an article or book about how the World works and then they claim it to be factual because its scientific and has "Reliable Sources" ... So many people stuck on science .. They don't get how all these formulas / concepts and numbers are just a form of language and that they are not the territory just a map. They believe beliefs based on books based on other books based on other beliefs...Also they get very emotionally involved . I can see how threatened they feel when i call their theories beliefs... They get annoyed and very angrryyy!! Rawr! haha I Tell them There is No difference between your scientific beliefs and the other religious people and their beliefs...I Tell them "Both of you are doing the same thing. You are claiming scientific beliefs to be facts. Their beliefs are just as phony as yours! Anyone else experienced angry / annoyed scientific people? -

What comes to mind when You read Infinity & nothingness ? If Infinity cannot be imagined then what is infinity?... No, answer my mind comes up with will be ever be the answer . The words and images flickering in my mind ( just assumed Its my mind) are real just the story they have is not real.. Is Infinity An absolute? Space seems infinite . Since no-thing can be imagined is it also infinity/ absolute,? Isnt that what we are? Would you consider space nothing but if it is nothing then ive made it into something... Are we inside nothing. Who said there was an I to be inside something. Inner and outer world distinction is illusory. ? Maybe. Random thoughts! -
The 1st Video on Mindfulness really got me going. First hand / direct experience on watching myself like a monkey at the zoo. Realized how unconscious I am. I was Lost in thought stories like everyone else seems to be. At least 99% of the people I interact with do not know about mindfulness.!

The need to control everything made me hold on tighter to the things I did not want to lose. Lesson learned the more you hold on the more it slips away. Desire is a big one. The desire to have what you dont have causes suffering. Then when you do get what you want you fear you will lose it and causes suffering again. A bigggoooo trap there .
