No, that's just not true.

Glad you guys liked. IMO, literally everyone suffer from multiple personality disorder. There is no single central intellectual ego - A very cool and simple insight that can be achieved by meditation, psychedelics or even plain contemplation. I think this scientific speculative "blessing" is very important, because it is a door for scientists to start considering other existential paradigms, so that science can actually take its leap of faith and start investigating consciousness not as a byproduct, but as the building block of reality. We're still kinda very far from it, but I guess I'll be alive to see some really big shifts in humanity views of reality.

Are they into non-duality, magik, alchemy, the occult, or what? The freemasons I know are very orange oriented people, from a spiral dynamics perspective. Some of them have impressive communication skills too. The freemasonry simbology throughout tokens of power in society is, at least, astounding. Money bills arround the world, monuments, etc. Are they just lost in politics drama and power games, like most people, or is there something hidden behind the curtains?

"What scientists say: we don't know how everything works, but we are working on trying to figure it out. what this guy says: Hey, I know how everything works, and you guys are all wrong. See how pretentious? Sigh..." That was my first comment in one of Leo's videos. Today I am here to redeem myself. You are not only a great spiritual teacher, but also a spiral wizzard, a big picture thinker. People like you, Alan Watts, Terence Mckenna, Ken Wilber and many others are the true leaders of the revolution of the 21st century - the inward revolution. You have inspired me to be more authentic and to talk unapologetically about my own self discoveries with my family and friends. Only someone who is well developed in his spiritual path would do the kind of content you make available for free. I might sound like a bootlicker for some, but I really don't care. Just wanted to say: Thank You, @Leo Gura You're a great dude. Cheers!

I had a full blown psychedelic experience during a lucid Dream. Although short, it was very meaningful for me. I tried to meditate within the dream, and then it all happened. Somehow, it felt like the psychedelic/mystical state was leaked into waking life and I could feel the pillow under my cheek while the crazy stuff happened. It was a ever expanding bright twisting weird feeling -

Ego is the highest form of dual experience in the material world that we are aware of. It's a privilege. It's beautiful. Be grateful, enjoy! Is it better to be misidentified with a separate individual and have an actual life experience, or not to be any experience at all? The apparent suffering leads ultimately to a strong self transcendence drive. That's a beatiful mechanism of union. You can dance, you can sing, you can feel the rain, you can have sex. Damn, even suffering has a certain beauty. It's just a ride, my friends. Let's celebrate! Obs: I totally get what Leo means in his video about the Devil. That’s totally fine if one has got the spiritual apparatus to deal with that information. The thing is that emphasizing the “problems” of ego, might cause self hatred or even worse issues for a person just starting his / her spiritual journey (been there, done that).

We cannot explain it yet, but we have some crucial clues as how enlightenment affects someone's brain. In this video, Ken Wilber enters in a state of Samadhi in just a few seconds. It's pretty impressive. -
First of all, I know that this is a really hard question, and that the teacher's followers awakenings are not teir direct responsability. But, do anyone know of some kind of concrete data about how many people a certain modern spiritual teacher have woken up? For instance, OSHO claimed that he had woken up 21 people by 1984 (which honestly, I think is not true). Gurdjieff's students have declared that his system didn't work at all in the end of their lives. Talking specifically about non-dual teachers, Ramana Maharshi seems to be the most succesfull teacher in history so far. Althought I am (this ego is) more aligned with the vishishtadvaita side of vedanta, or maybe integral spirituality of Sri Aurobindo / Ken Wilber, advaitins seem to be really good at waking up people for their true essence. Not taking into consideration the many monks, sadhus and other kinds of spiritual hermits, there seems to be a way to lead a "common life" and dedicate some practice and consciousness work. Does anyone know about any teacher that has some kind of concrete data about how many people have woke up helped by their teachings? (just pointing the main question, again) [I know this question might sound stupid by taking an absolute perspective, or maybe for someone that is well advanced in his/her spiritual path, but please, have some compassion for this curious ego - oh, and sorry about my english, I'm Brazillian!] Thanks a lot!

First of all, I'd like to say that I'm not replying on this to make you waste your time or to bug you in any sort of way. It's just that I think I have the opportunity to repay all the knowledge and aha moments your content have allowed me to get. The spiritual process is, like any other process, in constant evolution. I see spiritual practices as a sort of transcendental technology. Like any technology, it developed through history. Siddhartha gave us Vipassana. Later Buddhist Masters invented Transcendental Meditation, Metta, Goenka Body Scanning, Zen Koans, Strong Determination Sitting and so on. Advaitins tend to focus on Self Inquiry / Neti-Neti methods. Some types of Yoga work through God devotion (Bakthi Yoga), which is very similar to the Christian Mysticism way. There is Kryia Yoga, Kundalini practices, Pranayamas, Asanas, so on and so forth. Shamans discovered a long time ago the "plants technologies", as Terence McKenna liked to say: Marijuana, Ayahuasca, Psilocybe Cubensis, Peyote, LSD, the Toad, Salvia, Holotropic Breathwork - the list is never ending. Of course you know all of this - I am just trying to build up my argument, which is - spiritual practices are no different from material technology, they evolve through time. Some methods being more suitable for some people than others. The problem is that most of these methods are embedded in very dogmatic traditions (blue mythic-literal), which doesn't really allow their practitioners to see the big picture from a yellow integral perspective. For some reason (ego, I know, I know), the spiritual technologies didn't really evolve as much as material technology throughout history. My opinion being that we never reached a point where we could observe the big picture of it. We have internet, we have a lot of people transitioning from green to yellow! IMHO Jeffery's body of work is the perfect missing link between science and spirituality. This is mothafuckin' huge, folks. It's the first time someone is trying (and getting outstanding results) to have a systematic, non dogmatic, integral approach to reaching non-dual states, using modern material technology and "gold standard" spiritual technologies. He even managed to avoid the dark night of the soul in the process, by using positive psychology. To make things clear, I am not being paid to make any kind of propaganda here. Since you are curious to know the methods Jeffery is using, there is a Reddit thread about it: https://www.reddit.com/r/streamentry/comments/62ev8b/community_the_finders_course_techniques_and/ From my research, it seems that Jeffery already tried to make the course available for free, but in that case, people would not apply enough discipline and could not effectively transition to any PNSE "location", as he classifies. Since that's the case, I felt it was ok to post this information here. Of course there is a chance for it to be just plain BS and Jeffery's course could be a total scam, but following my intuition and research about it, I tend to say this is 100% legit. It's a wonderful time to be alive, my friends. We should be celebrating! -

In the podcast I posted previously, Jeffery talks about it, if I am not mistaken. He has interviewed around 1200 subjects for his initial research, including some very well known spiritual leaders. He also gives an estimate about a percentage of the population that experiences PNSE, but I don't remember the exact number (it's probably far from true, anyway). And yes brothers, we all should try to use relative language, and put our Devils aside to help each other, mainly in this forum. Love you all -

A great interview for those who are interested in what Jeffery is talking about! At around 2:00:00 he talks about his own full non-dual persistent experience (that meaning that the man is fukin' enlightened). He also talks about how people are actually able to get to a non-dual state a lot quicker than we previously thought it was possible
