That came from his wordage..."attractive girls/hots girls" , not just GIRLS. But, girls obviously out of his league, otherwise this wouldn't be an issue!
-
Perhaps, even if not true. Carry on...

Well, actually, it's easy to spot. I'd say that if your not comfortable your aiming too high (out of your league). You obviously don't feel deserving and yes, it will show. So, simply stop aiming so high, problem solved.

@DrewNows Oh, okay
-
Well, he said, "I absolutely love her personality. She's perfect in that way."
-
@LordFall your not understanding that what I'm saying is going off what HE said about her looks. Why is she his GF if he doesnt think shes very pretty and looks are that important. See? I don't make looks equal to personality. I had a BF in junior high that was not very attractive (lol), but his personality was the bomb, so it didnt matter much to me.

Probably not a great idea and I think you know this, that's why you started the thread, so someone says, "for God's sake, noooooo!!!" He's an ex for a reason. Put yourself back in the emotional place you felt when it wasnt working and ask, do you really want to go through that again? Of course, you can try, but I will say the heartbreak you feel may be two-fold this time if it doesnt work. It's up to you.
-
And, what I think would be really wrong would be for you to string her along for months, because you love her personality, then eventually end it, because of something regarding her looks. Just my female 2 cents!
-
@LordFall I meant, if looks "over-ride" everything else, then....let her go She deserves a guy that will love her as a total package! If it's not him, so be it.
-
Looks fade... personality doesnt. You need to decide what's more important to you. If its looks, then let her go find someone that "will" think she's very pretty and love her the way she deserves to be loved. ...she probably wouldn't want to be with someone that doesnt think she is good enough for them or should I say, I wouldn't.

Don't be opinionated and judgemental yourself and the opinions and judgements of others wont bother you so much.

Um, yes. Which is very possible. Are you aware "anti"-psychotics are often prescribed for both Bipolar 1 and 2 to control hypomania and mania? Are you also aware that patients with Bipolar 2 can become Bipolar 1? -
@Serotoninluv Nice post!

Affirmation can work, but in conjunction with other positive behaviors, such as trying to make others happy. This works best in-person so you get feedback right away. Like smiling at ppl, holding the door for someone, small things like that...or volunteer at a soup kitchen or homeless shelter. Ppl will show their gratitude and hence this may boost your self esteem.

That is soooo true! I don't have social anxiety, actually the opposite. Im outgoing and can talk to just about anyone, including the one with social anxiety that prays I just shut up, stop drawing attention to them and leave them alone

My career requires my brain to stay intact, not fried to a crisp. My awakening happened all natural. -

This explains why you sound like your brain is fried.? I call bullshit. Some of what you say is plausible, but 50% is just BS. But, many youngins here in this forum will Oooo and ahhhh over what you say taking it at face value. -

Ignorance is in the mind, intellect to be specific, of the "apparent" person. This ignorance is what causes one to think they are a separate, volitional entity to begin with. -
In that case, maybe you are confused and should hold off from doing anything for a few days? I know in your other thread you said you've seen her before irl. I assume you liked how she looked, you said she was cute. Maybe the recent pic you saw was just a bad picture?

@assx95 Ps, you know what would be cruel and destructive. To use her for someone to talk to, to keep you company, because you like certain things about her, but you know damn well you don't really want to be with her in real life or long term. So, just using her until you find someone else to be your girlfriend.
-
So what? Your not going to tell her? Want your cake and eat it too? Jesus, give her a chance to be with someone who will actually like "everything" about her, including her looks. I'm not taking anything you say personal. It's interesting you consider me saying to tell her the truth as destructive advice. Yes, much better to lie to her and string her along wasting her time and energy. Geesh! *rolls eyes*
