  1. This is according to the news as of Sun/Mon with Trump and his 2 doctor experts. They extended all precautions until the end if April. School's here being out have been extended to May 1st and said the spike in the US is coming "most likely" in 2 weeks. @Serotoninluv❤
  2. Not much has changed for me, except I work in the medical field so work has become a bit nuts. On a personal note, I work and come home, like I did before. The stores are a bit more bare, less cars on the road and I can't go out to eat. I enjoyed doing that, maybe out to dinner and a movie. Otherwise, I'm pretty much a home body.
  3. Yeah, it's pretty bad and New York is getting hit hard. The health department's in each state are getting a certain amount of PPE and dispersing it how they see fit. My home care agency that does subacute care was first allocated "none" (thanks healthcare dept!!!), then they reconsidered and gave us 200. Sounds like a lot but it's not. We have roughly 15 field staff (nurses and therapist) working every day, all seeing about 6 patients a day. If each of them wore 1 mask with every patient that's 90 masks per day, so the masks would last a little over 2 days. If they wore 1 mask, all day, we would be out of masks in 13 days and the virus isn't suppose to spike in the US for another 2 weeks. We are only allowed to wear masks with patients that have symptoms. Those odds aren't good for the staff and they know it. Hopefully, some of the business's the government has instructed to make masks will be able to increase supply significantly.
  4. @Leo Gura For me, it's just a bit of fun. What cards will get picked? Hmm? Will they say anything regarding my current problem, hmm? When I was much younger I went to 2 card readers I picked the "evil eye" card both times...wow. some bad luck, lol.?
  5. @Emerald Thank you, sounds pretty accurate. I didn't get a pic of my cards I notice. Maybe you forgot. Thank you for your time.
  6. @Emerald Cool beans, ty ? I'll read it in the morning. Time for bed?
  7. Hi, are you still in the mood? I have to do some letting go. Its weighing heavy on my mind.
  8. poem: "Lockdown Yes there is fear. Yes there is isolation. Yes there is panic buying. Yes there is sickness. Yes there is even death. But, They say that in Wuhan after so many years of noise You can hear the birds again. They say that after just a few weeks of quiet The sky is no longer thick with fumes But blue and grey and clear. In Venice swans and fish are back in the once filthy canals, The waters now crystal clear, dolphins dance. They say that in the streets of Assisi People are singing to each other across the empty squares, keeping their windows open so that those who are alone may hear the sounds of family around them. They say that a hotel in the West of Ireland Is offering free meals and delivery to the housebound. Today a young woman I know is busy spreading flyers with her number through the neighbourhood So that the elders may have someone to call on. Today churches, synagogues, mosques and temples are preparing to welcome and shelter the homeless, the sick, the weary. All over the world people are slowing down and reflecting, All over the world people are looking at their neighbours in a new way, All over the world people are waking up to a new reality To how big we really are, To how little control we really have, To what really matters, To Love. So we pray and we remember that Yes there is fear. But there does not have to be hate. Yes there is isolation. But there does not have to be loneliness. Yes there is panic buying. But there does not have to be meanness. Yes there is sickness. But there does not have to be disease of the soul. Yes there is even death. But there can always be a rebirth of love. Wake to the choices you make as to how to live now. Today, breathe. Listen, behind the factory noises of your panic. The birds are singing again The sky is clearing, Spring is coming, And we are always encompassed by Love. Open the windows of your soul And though you may not be able to touch across the empty square, Sing." Fr. Richard Hendrick, OFM March 13, 2020
  9. I agree. They aren't needed if you're ready.
  10. @Arthur nice pic!
  11. Your welcome.
  12. Any post in response to Johnny5 most recent post (today) will be hidden. The reason is that his post has been hidden for trolling and he has been dealt with in accordance to forum guidelines. Thanks
  13. It's no problem?
  14. On many new phones, you hold your finger down on the pic and options pop up, you hit search "google for this image" and it will show if there are any matches. Ppl need to realize this technology exists and you have to be careful. Most pics are fine though. However, I've already PM'd a member to notify that they have a privacy breach. I don't have time to go through all the pics on this thread so, everyone check your pic!
  15. A photo can cause a privacy issue under one circumstance that I can think of and here it is... If you post a pic that is posted on google somewhere. Such as, you post a pic that is your avatar pic on Twitter, for instance. You can check your own pic to make sure it's safe to post by searching using "google reverse image search".
  16. Thank you? How sweet are you?
  17. @Preety_India ?
  18. Be suspicious if you've only had a few PM messages with someone and then you are asked to chat off forum.
  19. How can you be forced to do this? Just don't give it out. I'm assuming you mean via PM, because doing it on open forum isn't allowed.
  20. No, not thus far. This is from forum guidlenes: "No posting personal information such as address, phone number, or email" Also, no Fb, instagram, skype, etc accounts on open forum. No meet up groups.
