  1. He's using "space" as an analogy of how consciousness can be thought of as "spacious", as it's every where, permeating and illuminating every-thing (nondual). When used in an analogy of a room that is occupied by furniture and decorations (ie, thoughts, feelings, etc) when those things are removed there is only the "space" in which those items occupied. That the essence of the room was not the content, but actually, the space in the room. That when thoughts, feelings and emotions stop in the mind, even if briefly, one can realize what is left is (you) consciousness. Spacious awareness which is the essence of who you really are and not the content that usually occupies the mind.
  2. Okay, good luck with that...I'm getting back in the pool.

  4. No, its not. No wonder you misunderstand my posts so badly. Sounds like it's time to chuck what you think you know and start over. Good luck
  5. Perhaps he has had second thoughts on what he said on those vids.
  6. Wait, wait, waaahhh..... You "get" the cosmic joke! ?
  7. @AlwaysJoggin My brother in law has been battling with a gambling addiction for many years. He recently lost his house and now he (48 yo) and my neice are living with my mother in law. Talk about having to start over, yikes. Learn the lesson now. Good luck to you?
  8. My take is that "time and space" are "within" infinite consciousness, not a fundamental aspect of it. Ppl say time is an illusion, because it's as real as the objective changing reality both subtle and gross. Although it takes time and space to create a framework of objective reality, as said, it isn't infinite consciousness, except to say that it is created by, made of, illumined by infinite consciousness.
  9. I'm sorry for your dilemma ? That is a lot of school and loans for a mediocre salary. In the US, typical salary is between $50,000-110,000 for clinical psychologist, but when you factor in all the loans and how that top pay won't come for many years. It is discouraging. My friends son was going for that and stopped (not sure why), but he has a bachelor's degree in psychology and is only making $12 an hour as a case manager with special needs children with that degree. Just awful. Ppl at McDonald's make more money. If your decision is final then grieve the loss and pull yourself up by the bootstraps and figure out what to do now. Can you talk with a school counselor at your college about changing your degree? How far into it are you? As a side note, many ppl struggling with mental health issues want to go into mental health careers to give back and help others like them, but its not always the best decision actually. It can often be a huge struggle. This could be a blessing in disguise. ?
  10. I understand, truly, but you can over come it and rise above it. Maybe you have, maybe thats what you mean when you say "I understand her". I understood my mother also and forgave her.
  11. First, I would ask what makes you think this? Second, I would ask have you discussed how you feel with your parents? Third, how long have you felt this way?
  12. Absolutely agree, it's another that I've seen more then once. ?
  13. @ivankiss Perhaps you could search "popular group categories " on FB, then "entertainment" and find a music group that allows you to post your own music? And maybe even allows you to link back to your own FB page? Every group has there own rules.
  14. I'm pretty sure I know exactly why I say something, but seems you just want to argue and I'm not interested. Have a good night Peace out✌
  15. I saw, I was only trying to gently point to a possible blind spot. Ego/thought is very sneaky, as Nahm would say. Love?
