@Hawkins Have you tried talking to a counselor or a speech-language therapist? Speech-language therapist can be extremely helpful in your case, because you didn't seem to be paralyzed by social anxiety (you did invite ppl out). You just lacked the ability to make a conversation once you were out which counselors or SP therapist could help you work on.

This is probably a very good idea. You are having many psych symptoms, so best to be evaluated. Especially, if you feel impulsive (?) while having suicidal thoughts.

Sorry that happened to you. One thing I learned in nursing is you can't control other ppl and they will behave badly at times. What you did was perfect.

@sandimay I think that you are both doing pretty well all things considered. There's a lot of love and hope in your post, so keep on... keeping on. The brain makes new neural pathways, but it takes time. I was told this many years ago by my own neurologist when I was shown some brain lesions from my M.S. I wish you both well and hope that he gets the best medical care possible. ❤ Many therapies can be done at home. Depending on what's needed.

Yep, it's charity work. You try to follow the guidelines and warnings that have been set out for you to enforce, but you best be prepared to deal with backlash and being harassed by disgruntled forum members for enforcing anything. Especially as a female mod. Prior to this thread I've been considering quitting. Sometimes its just not worth it.
