@Arkandeus Yeah, they may be enlightened...for a year even less. Then they get sucked into a world that doesn't exist. (Virtual world) Then advertisements in this virtual world makes them want it in the real world. They are then far from enlightened, and this can be by the age of 2 in some cases.

Had this shower thought a few minutes ago about my niece and nephew who came to visit a few days ago. What I noticed was that they were completely consumed by their phones and tablets. My brother stayed around for about 3 hours and the entire time they were playing games and watching videos. They would occasionally talk to each other but then they'd go straight back to playing games. I told my brother about how weird it was that they were so consumed by this technology. They were completely immersed in it that when I'd ask them something they wouldn't even realize I was talking to them. My brother however laughed at this and said "Well it keeps them quite doesn't it?". While having my shower I was just wondering if most kids nowadays are like this? Is it their parents fault for having them like this? Is it a good or bad thing? The only good I got from it is that they might stumble upon videos like Leos when they get older and sprout from there...also they might be more technically minded in the future. The bad though is less communication and bad health. (I could probably add more but my shower wasn't that long) lol I remember a time when I was completely consumed by my xbox but this was later on in my teens so I was kind of in a similar situation...but at such a young age? 3 and 5. Can this be good or bad for humanity in the future if the majority of kids were like this? And like I pointed out before, is there a possibility that this could be beneficial to their minds as they could eventually stumble upon enlightenment etc. (I know at such a young age they wouldn't be able to comprehend it...but who knows.)

I came to this conclusion very recently also. But I found that not forcing myself to talk and not being self-conscious about it made me talk more and also easier. There is still times though when I just go silent and people start asking if I'm okay.

When you are born you don't even know what anything is so I doubt it is given to you on birth. DNA might play some role in what you might want later on, but then again there has been no findings of DNA to make this guy a better mechanic as it's all taught.

You're thinking about this too much...after all it only happened last night so you don't exactly know how he's feeling about you. Confront him about it and ask him if you're just wasting your time with him. There is no point wasting time and getting hurt by someone who just doesn't see you in the same way you see them. If it does turn out that he's not interested then you need to move on and not get caught up about it. The more you get caught up about it the more unnecessary pain you bring upon yourself. Also to remind you..the more you leave this and not ask him what his thoughts are the more you preconceptualize this whole situation and these preconceptions will tear you apart. Best of luck

Does anyone wipe the toilet seat with tissue before sitting on it regardless if it's clean or not? I can't trust it until it's been wiped. Another question...do people place toilet roll in the toilet in a way that you won't get back splash?

You sound crazier than I do. Try putting yourself in his grandfathers shoes for a minute here. More than likely stuck in a hospital for days - weeks now, bed bound probably, being kept alive by machines and drugs...everything hurts and even if you do get better you know you will be treated like a fucking 6 year old for the rest of your life or thrown into a home. I too would ask to be put out of my misery regardless of the crappy outcome.
