  1. What he's saying is out there, but it all makes sense. His body motions and eyes give the appearance of a mad man, but I think he just doesn't give a shit and doesn't bother filtering this stuff.. the oversized white v-neck shirt really completes the appearance of a mental hospital inpatient
  2. Sorry I haven't read through this whole thread, but I think I have the gist, and wanted to weigh in. It's not an easy decision closing a thread or banning a user, and I know Leo (or any of the mods) don't take that lightly. It's not correct that he is "banning any critique on actualized.org" - for example this thread is wide open and full of critique, which is a good healthy sign. The forum works better if we try to keep discussion balanced, open, and kind.
  3. Ram'd Ass? Probably over 9000 @Rilles
  4. @herghly nothing in particular. It's a small city in Thailand with a cosmopolitan community many meditators, spiritual practitioners, lots of people who are living off their various web-based businesses and so on. Thailand is a homeland to Theravada buddhism so many people go there to learn about it, and some decide to stay.
  5. He shares some great wisdom near the end, where that clip should play from Whole video is good though.
  6. Interesting thanks. I know next to nothing about Shambhala movement/religion/whatever, just passing mentions from people who've been involved with it in the past. Universally seems to have not-bad things to say about it, which is always a good sign.
  7. Lol no kidding.. Even if you try to explain it "It's not what you think! I'm just preparing a solution of this drug to stick it up my bum and talk to god!" ..
  8. This is probably already obvious to you, but check out meditation groups - vipassana, zen and so on. I don't know tons about the Shambhala centres, but I hear second hand that it's a pretty healthy meditation/spiritual world: https://shambhala.org/centres/find-shambhala-centre Maybe someone with personal experience with that community will chime in. There are certain communities in the world that seem to be magnets for people like you, you might want to look into. Chiang Mai Thailand, Ubud Bali Indonesia, Kona Hawaii USA, Nelson BC Canada, San Miguel de Allende Mexico, come to mind off the top of my head. There are places all over the world though, in India for sure, Europe, England, other parts of Asia, S. America..
  9. Perhaps you need more solvent (water), you might have reached saturation. Also, perhaps the oxalate form is less soluble in water than HCl. I don't have an answer, just speculating. I've never had oxalate, nor made a solution out of 5-MeO-DMT. You could try gently warming the mixture to help it dissolve. The classic way to do this is by using a small flame (lighter) and a spoon. Don't get it too hot, just tease it over the flame. Too much heat could degrade the 5-MeO-DMT. Not sure what temperature it would begin to degrade quickly at, but some tryptamines are a bit fragile. Use just enough heat to get it into solution. For plugging you'll get away with not having a perfect solution anyways, it should be fine just to have it all suspended. There's lots of moisture in your rectum. When you snort it for eg., it's not in solution and it still works.
  10. It always feels cross. Just gets amplified on 5-MeO-DMT and other psychedelics. Body posture stuff is important!
  11. @FractalFlux great information re: acetone, and the conversion. Thanks!
  12. Agreed, we shouldn't write off GMO. There's nothing inherently "bad" (nor "good") about GMO, just like there's nothing inherently bad or good about electricity. It's a technology that we need to learn to use responsibly. Proceed with caution, and don't automatically reject GMO. Viruses and bacteria are constantly GMOing each other in the wild, as well as the plants and animals they interact with. We've been manipulating the genetics of our livestock, crops our pets for millennia, albeit with blunter tools.
  13. I like to call a spade a spade. If you're talking about god, why not say "God"? I can't think of a word more accurate. The problems is like what @luckieluuke mentions, because the name God has come to mean a lot of silly (and even harmful) things to many people, like the proverbial bearded man in the clouds. It's shocking to realize how many people believe in the literal existence of a God like this. Although I do wonder, if any conception of god would be closer to the truth than any other. Is 10 any closer to infinity than 1?
  14. Nice one @FractalFlux! I was hoping a chemistry ace would jump in. A little extra fumaric acid could be a good idea just to make sure you have a full conversion. BTW it's not illegal everywhere bud A question about acetone @Hsinav@FractalFlux: is the kind you get at the hardware store safe enough to use for this kind of conversion? Will it leave harmful residues, or do you reckon it's close enough to 100% pure?
  15. Yeah man do it. It will be good for both of you.
  16. True sexiness is being comfortable with the tension
  17. I've locked this thread as OP is using it as a promotional platform.
  18. Nice video. It doesn't need to be complicated.
  19. Lol love it. It does make some sense, and I have a lot of love for Alan Watts' words, but in this case I can't agree that one must completely put psychedelics down after learning something from them. It's true that the biologist doesn't sit permanently glued, he does go to work on what he has seen. But once he's completed this work, he returns to the microscope for further insights. You shouldn't go tripping all the time seeking and seeking. You have to take time to integrate, change fold the insights in. And then when you've completed this work, and have the calling to dive in again, it can be really useful to pick up the phone once again. It can also be fun to chit chat once in a while.
  20. Weed is a totally different ball game from psychedelics FYI, don't let that bad experience with the brownies set any kind of tone for you. If your sitter is some kind of experienced psychedelic guide, I would definitely recommend that. If it's just some buddy who's never tripped before, I'd be wary. If it's something in between it's kind of your call. Sounds like your BF falls into the latter category of inexperienced buddy, so I might skip that plan. The thing is that a sober, inexperienced sitter may end up just bringing you so much down to earth that it interferes with your experience. But a good sitter can facilitate a very deep experience. If you do trip alone, and are tentative about the whole thing, I'd recommend taking a small (1g) dose to get your feet wet. It's hard to imagine someone having problems on that kind of dose. Its really hard to imagine someone wanting to play with knives or run naked in the streets on 1g or 2g (or any dosage tbh). However the running naked down the streets scenario does seem to happen from time to time with certain kinds of people, so it's a good policy to be careful until you know how you react. The thing is with psychedelics is that they really tend to amplify your consciousness. It's not like getting "fucked up" on booze or something where people start doing crazy out of control shit. On mushrooms you are very aware of what you're doing and why you're doing it, more so than normal. There does seem to be a change at ultra high doses where some people loose it and start dissociating and acting out of control, but at 1-2g you won't be near that. Don't combo it with booze or weed. If you're feeling more confident, and/or have a decent sitter, go with higher like 2g. IMO of course.
  21. @Gabriel Antonio yes, I can't remember if there is any scientific validity to the fluoride thing, or if that part of it is just a new age fancy. In any case, there's no good reason to have fluoride in the drinking water, so that part of it I can get behind. If it were true that fluoride in the water can cause pineal calcification, we might expect to see earlier onset of sexual maturity in communities drinking fluoridated water, since that is one of the consequences of pineal calcification (in animal models? Not sure if this is known to happen in humans) That would be an interesting hypothesis to test.
  22. If this recipe is for converting DMT freebase to fumarate (and not just a typo), the amounts will be different for 5-MeO-DMT because it has a different molar weight than DMT (ie. if you compare the same mass of DMT and 5-MeO-DMT, the DMT sample will have more molecules in it because the molecule itself is lighter than the 5-MeO-DMT molecule, because it is lacking the methoxy group.) I'm not good enough at chemistry to calculate the correct numbers for this, but just FYI @Enizeo
  23. I think so too, and have already removed the promotional link.
  24. That Gaia video ^ was actually pretty good, stuck to the facts. There's no good reason to fluoridate the water directly, it's good enough to put it in the toothpaste. It should be noted that fluorine isn't the only cause of pineal calcification - deposits include calcium and phosophorous too - so eliminating fluoride from the water won't necessarily change anything wrt pineal calcification, despite the implications in this video. I don't know if there's been a comparative study looking at levels of pineal calcification in communities with fluoride treated water vs. non, so afaik we don't really know if the two are even correlated. Chlorine in the water is something people rarely talk about, but that seems like a concern to me since it's there precisely because it's toxic to life.
