@LfcCharlie4 @TrynaBeTurquoise please point to any scrap of research that supports what you are saying about how 5G, glysophate, or GMO exacerbate the COVID-19 pandemic. Until then you're just running your mouth and confusing matters. You're working on a chain of suppositions, none of which are grounded in fact or research. On the other hand, we already have piles of research about how this disease is actually transmitted, and infects, how the virus works, and how to prevent infection and transmission. Listen to the experts on this matter, there's no need to complicate it with imaginings about GMO, 5G and so on. This thread from Peter Kolchinsky (virologist) will give you a far deeper understanding of how the SARS-Cov-2 virus works: Listen to the doctors and scientists who actually study this stuff

@TrynaBeTurquoise I did read your post properly, you said glysophate and GMO exacerbate the problem (of COVID-19). But they don't, there's just no evidence to say it does, and claiming so is misleading. I'm sorry my tone is a bit riled up about this, but I feel it's an important issue, and I'm seeing a lot of bullshit brewing up all over social media about this, and the last thing I want is for this little community to become another "infection point" for bad info. We need to focus everyone's mind on the real, strong causes and risks with this disease, and not indulge far-fetched conjectures based on no evidence. You can split hairs and say everything is interrelated, nothing exists in a vacuum. Yes, this is true to some extent, but we really need to be laser-focused on what's relevant and practical in this matter. We know very clearly how infection occurs, and who is at risk. We know how to stop transmission of this virus, and who is at greatest risk. These are the only things we need to focus on with the pandemic, getting distracted by 5G and GMO just muddies the waters. Those are very separate issues, they don't have any more relevance when it comes to COVID-19 than what time I did a fart this morning. What we do know for sure is that the virus is transmitted by droplets in the air, it can survive a long time on surfaces, is very risky to the elderly and immunocompromised. Stay home, wash hands, wear a mask. It's a great time to turn inwards and practice so many of the things we talk about on actualized.org!

No, they don't interact with each other. There's not a shred of evidence that they do, and the idea doesn't even make any sense. The only thing they have in common is roots in sinophobia. In the case of 5G, perhaps we do need to be concerned with privacy issues from the hardware manufacturers, and with the high power used by the network causing problems with our bodies. But we really need to stress, none of this has anything to to with COVID-19. Likewise, GMO foods and glysophate have their own problems, but again, absolutely nothing to do with COVID-19. There's no evidence or reason to think there would be a relationship. Don't confound them. We need to be very clear on what the cause of COVID-19 is, how it's transmitted, how pathogens work. Human lives are at stake, this isn't a time to fuck around with far-fetched conspiracies. It's dangerous to entertain this conspiracy theory because it casts fog in the public's understanding of this pandemic. The only way we're going to defeat this is by staying laser focused on stopping the pathogen from spreading in the community, and by identifying infections and isolating (and treating) them. There's a time and place for having a bit of fun with a conspiracy theory, but now is not that time. Don't be a fool. Stay home, wash your hands, use a mask when you go in public. Be smart, stay safe.

There may be valid concerns about 5G, but it has absolutely nothing to do with COVID-19. It's complete mental laziness to confound the two, and embarrassing that this irresponsible conspiracy theory is even getting any around here. Wash your hands, social distance, use a homemade mask when you have to go into public. This disease is caused by a biological virus and this kind of misinformed paranoid fantasy will kill people.

This one is so badass ^ ! I hope it's real and not photoshop. Not sure he'd be allowed in there dressed like that and wearing sunglasses. Sorry that this one is Pepe meme, but it's pretty good nonetheless:

Good on you for coming to this realization. I hope you I hope you can dissuade others from trying to acquire and milk the toads. Amphibians have been decimated over the last few decades, mostly due to habitat loss and fungal infections. It damages the population to remove them from the wild, and it's stressful to the toads to be captive and milked. I hope you can find some nice pure synthetic 5-MeO-DMT!

I think Yopo contains DMT, 5-MeO-DMT and other alkyloids too right? @Rilles -
A lot of people think eggs need to go in the fridge, but this is totally false, keep them on the counter. Whole nations never refrigerate their eggs and it's fine. I never do. Skip the OJ, buy oranges and other fruit instead, keep them on the counter. Drink water, eat fruit, it's healthier. Buy smaller jugs of milk, 2L paper cartons are better for the environment than the plastic gallon jugs anyways. Yogurt lasts an amazing amount of time out of the fridge, especially if you constantly are scraping off the top. Do you have a pressure cooker? Once you cook something in there, don't open it and it's essentially sealed and safe from spoiling until you do open it. People do this with beans in Brazil when they don't have a fridge. Every time they open the pressure cooker to take some of the beans out, they just bring it back up to pressure after and leave it sealed and they don't spoil. This is in really warm climate too.

This doesn't really belong in the M,C,E,S forum so I've moved it to our most general catch-all, "Self-Actualization"

Joe "No-malarkey" Biden? As Orange as Trump's spray-tan. Still way better than stage Red Trump. If you guys don't get Bernie (which is looking pretty likely), I sure hope everyone here from the USA can realize that voting for president isn't about picking a president that matches perfectly to your ideal. It's about making sure that the least bad candidate is running your country. -

I recommend experimenting with it. Don't get stuck into a specific regime as The way to MD. Play around with it to find out what does/doesnt work for you at this point in your life. I've tried a lot of different psychedelics for MD, but tend to turn to 1p-LSD as a go-to. Personally I use it extremety infrequently (<1x/week) and at around 3ug. But I could see that changing at different times. I am hesitant to make a long term, regular habit out of it because of the potential cardiac valvolopathy risk. But I find it beneficial and interesting enough to use occasionally until there is more data. -

You don't need to vacuum seal the jar. That would be great if you could, but it would be very difficult so don't bother trying. It just needs to be airtight Leave it at room temperature, sealed with the dessicant (silica gel/rice kernels) inside, for a few hours prior to freezing. This step might be overkill. When taking it out of the freezer, leave it for a few hours, until it's completely to room temperature, before opening. A day would be overkill. before putting it back in freezer, same procedure as the first time you put it in. silica gel goes in the jar, and sealed baggie with tightly wrapped tabs also goes in jar. Add it in the jar from the beginning before putting in freezer. if you have your psychedelics in liquid solution, just freeze the whole solution, no need to use dessicant etc. @4201 thanks for pointing that post out, I hope it is helpful to people. @Serotoninluv probably not necessary unless it gets noticeably less dry, but rice is cheap so you might as well replace it occasionally during a time that you're opening it up anyways. Definitely don't thaw it all out just to replace the rice though. Your jar shouldn't be leaking so there would be no point in that. As 4201 said I made a very organized post about storage a while back, feel free to check it out: -

That was really interesting and well presented. I love how he peels back the layers and uses Disney as a case study in what's going on more widely in media and capitalism. I actually really loved the Lion King remake as a technical spectacle. But it bothered me how it presented the outsiders/underprivileged as a threatening and nasty tribe. It seemed particularly distasteful in this time when the coals of racism and xenophobia are being stoked. They could have spun a unifying tale that leads minds to a compassionate and harmonious vision for how we can come together on this planet. Anyways, this video explores these topics with far more insight and eloquence than I can come up with, check it out. -
That's a great analogy!

If you want to keep it for years and years, do what @Corpus said, making sure the jar is a sealer jar. When you need to take the acid out, let the jar sit for a few hours to warm to room temperature slowly. This will prevent condensation from forming when you open it. I like to leave the jar sealed for a day again before I put it back in the freezer. This way the dessicant has time to absorb any new moisture from the air, and it won't condense on any surfaces inside the jar. For desiccant you can use those silica gel packets that come in packets of certain products, or even rice grains which are extremely dry. You could also use oxygen absorbers to reduce oxidation. -

That makes sense. Obvious I'm not condoning the behaviour, just that the perspective makes it more understandable how this behaviour happens. I'm hopeful that it could change a lot faster than 300-400 years. It's surprising how quickly things can change. With the right awareness and dialogue, societies hit tipping points, and then everything shifts. -

I bet 99% of the time it goes unreported. Even in nations with stronger women's rights and respect these things barely get reported. Especially if you include the day-to-day harassment like ass-grabbing on crowded busses and what not that goes on constantly in India (and other places), it would be like 99.99% -
There are some good general tips in here, some bad ones, and it's a bit 2-dimensional and overly specific. Don't get too hung up on the details, just get out there and meet people, you'll have way more success than by analyzing and intellectualizing dating.

@LfcCharlie4 do you snore? My son has this problem too, although no one in the house is a smoker. He uses this saline nasal spray daily which helps a lot: tip: You can refill these bottles easily with an oral syringe and home made saline.

Lol yeah basically an extreme form of the messiah complex in my eyes, yes. Good point I hadn't thought about him in those terms. -

Being white will grant you privileges in any society. I've spent years and years living outside of my home (majority white) country, and this is extremely apparent. In east Asia, south Asia, South America, Central America, North America, Europe, from the poorest ghettos in Brazil to the poshest clubs in London, to airport security, to emergency room admissions it has never been to my disadvantage to be white. It would definitely be a different story if I was black, latino, asian, south asian.. the world has a very long way to go before it's an even playing field. -
outlandish replied to SBB4746's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I think the difference is that someone who wants to change to world is doing it because there's work to be done, whereas the person with the messiah complex puts their self at the center of that work to be done. In the first case the work is central, in the messiah case the self is central. The person who is able to put their self to the side, and place the change as the central element will always be more effective.
