  1. @HII No experience whatsoever but I connected the dots based on your comment and some work of mine. Talking and storytelling of some sort seem ideal.
  2. @heisenburger My zone of genius is "communicating unique perspectives about life, creatively" but "communicating" and "creatively" is too generic and I have to choose between too many choices. for example: communicating: video, podcast, public speaking, drawing, rap-ing, singing, dancing, stand-up and every art form that exists. Creatively: Self-explanatory that this also has too many nuances. So how do I dumb it down just to keep going with my LP? @Leo Gura Did I mess up any of the exercises based on the above?
  3. Do you also feel like your eyes are not into horizontal level? Happens to me ALL the time.
  4. So I was watching Joe Rogan's podcast #725 after Leo's suggestion on the blog and after contemplating it for a little bit I got this insight. If we don't actually know whenever something is true or false, wouldn't it be best to never express an opinion if you want to be as openminded as possible? Even if you don't believe it 100% you are still making a distinction by choosing to say A instead of B. Also if it is not possible to not hold any belief, even if you hold them lightly you still tend to cling to them as we see with science and every paradigm-locked ideology. This also ties in well with something I heard from Sadhguru: "I do not know" holds a tremendous possibility" So isn't open-mindedness just like naivety? How does this notion link with personal development at the highest level?
  5. @Shiva Yeah you got what I am questioning here. To clarify what I am questioning here, even more, aren't we holding some beliefs by doing this work? How do those beliefs vary from the average person's dogmatic beliefs if at all?
  6. @TJ Reeves I have already listened to the whole thing. I actually got interested in this album because of the 1-800 song which sounded so much more than the mainstream bitches-drugs-money narrative of rap these days. Good to hear your perspective man.
  7. @Hardkill You need to get honest with yourself. You cant get up early? Jeez, I feel you man, what an inconvenience... Jokes aside go find a fucking job and stop this bullshit thinking which is a mix of limiting beliefs and victimhood.
  8. Doing the LP course currently and I am stuck at the stage I have to find people I admire. I admire creative people in general but none stands out except Leo. How am I supposed to find these people?
  9. Yeah saw it too. Evan is too success oriented but he still included a part about meditation so hats off to him.
  10. Looking for some quality art like movies, tv-series or even anime. I am trying to find some high quality non toxic entertainment and it isn't the easiest thing. Give me your suggestions bellow, I am really interested to see what you guys watch.
  11. @Saarah I will check it out, thanks. Looks like familiar artwork so I probably have already watched something from them. @blazed Yeah I have seen both, they are really high quality. Westworld is dope, it gets into consciousness and AI so it is a must see, go finish it. @MarinM I am offended, how dare you think I haven't watched that? @Ray Thanks for the big list mate. I have seen some of the bold stuff and we seem to have similar taste. Also great thing you added a stand-up comedy section to the list.
  12. @BjarkeT By non-toxic I basically mean that the artwork is more focus on the artistic and plot side of things rather than the mainstream focus of action and death (not saying that violent artworks can't be high quality though). For example compare Matrix to Terminator, the first one is ages ahead in terms of quality and plot. Also really important to me is that the artwork plants a seed of some sort.
  13. @CreativeInertia He is talking out of his ass don't listen.
  14. I am having a weird feeling in the bottom of my throat. It feels like i am drowning or like someone is choking me and i cant breathe properly. Especially during meditation/self inquiry this feeling is magnified and it also starts to burn and it spread into my chest as well. What the fuck is going on here?
  15. "What Is The Substance Of Reality?" I am messing around lately with this self-inquiry question based on the "Leo Hits Rock Bottom" video. Although it feels different and somehow better it also feels very dry. On the "who am I? self-inquiry question you are looking to find yourself which at least gives you some grounding to ask the question from, in a technical sense. On this one, though it feels like I am just repeating the question waiting for something to happen out of thin air. Call it bad conscious traction or too big of a conscious gap, I ain't feeling it. Is it just a mental thing of mine or is it something actually missing here?
  16. I am starting to doubt if people here even read the questions or just talk just for talking sake...
  17. @Max_V Make yourself familiar in those "fearful" situations. You basically will rewire your subconscious to not be "afraid" of other people because the last 1000 times nothing happened. This is when you bite the bullet and go chat up people and expose yourself to as many people as possible. You really don't have to worry about anything. Be aware though that this is some sort of mild social anxiety.
  18. @Ilya Because you are trying to find yourself. How can YOU be something occasional in your experience?
  19. @Ilya Watch what your brain is, it is just an idea which is not present in your direct experience. This cannot be you because when you don't have that though you are still there. You must be something everlasting in your present experience, to say the least.
  20. Our problems as mankind are not out there to be solved, they are intrinsic or maybe I should say it is intrinsic. The ego an intrinsic problem and the only problem to be precise. No matter how technologically advanced we become it wouldn't really matter. No matter if we colonel mars or the whole galaxy it wouldn't really matter. All of that are sacrifices in the ego's pyre. Even if we all become enlightened as a generation, the next won't be necessarily. The deepest problem of mankind is that we can only build the roads that lead to growth and actual progress. We can't force anyone to follow the path and the path is only chosen to be walked by the individual. Concluding here that no matter how we grow, our children and their children will be back on step one.
  21. Two years deep in this personal development journey and after improving my life on all domains I've got an issue, I feel superior to other people. On the one hand it is justified because when I am self-actualizing they are consumed in mass culture but on the other hand, i have cultivated a bias towards them and it limits my interactions with them and their worth. This also has magnified after going vegan during those years especially when seeing how ignorant people are and how consumed they are in the culture, meaning they are not able to make decisions for themselves. This is probably an ego thing but the average person is so close-minded, indoctrinated, ignorant that I really don't have any respect for them really. That doesn't mean I want anything bad for them but they are not worth my time anyway because we can't communicate, they are trapped in their paradigm-lock and there is nothing positive that can come out of that.
  22. @Leo Gura Saying that IQ is irrelevant you don't mean that intelligence doesn't exist? You just mean that IQ doesn't represent it? Like IQ is too one dimensional in a multi-dimension attribute (like intelligence), right?
