02/17/2020 I am feeling very tensed today. Recently i checked my Facebook MA group and saw there the announcement of regular class schedule. Seeing that, i become very anxious anout my state. My result is yet to be published and i don't have much time to wait for it. I have to appear on the MBA exam. For that, i need that result as quickly as possible. I am angry at the incompetence of the teachers of my department. How can they take more than six months just to check less than 100 exam papers? This is insane! I don't wanna regret not getting admitted into MA. I didn't wanna do that but the social pressure is high. The kind of social bulling that is practiced in my society makes me more tensed about the future. I must find a way to get past that and live the life i intend to live.

Please help me by suggesting some great books on the topic. I would really appriciate it.

@Lelouch Lamperouge i don't think making a poll here would reflect the national sentiment of the America. Most people in this forum are liberal and left leaning, so they are obviously going to go for Bernie although you can understand the state of of this forum by this poll result. -

Well i can name an example of my society's recent step towards progress. I live in Bangladesh. In my country, prostitution is allowed according to law but the society hates it. As the majority of the Bangladeshi people are religious and at stage Blue, they see prostitution as evil and hates prostitutes. There is a place called dauladia in Bangladesh where the countries biggest red light zone lies. Our society hates prostitution so much that the locals of that area wouldn't allow janaza (a religious prayer for those who died) for prostitutes who died and graves for them. As a result, prostitutes bodies were thrown at the river or secretly put them into graves after they died. It was hard for prostitutes as they felt their rights of social dignity were ignored. Recently a police officer took a historic initiative. After the death of a prostitute, he asked the Imam of a local mosque to hold her janaza peayer. At first, the Imam refused to do so but after some convincing, he agreed. So the prostitute got her last social farewell and 200-300 people attended the prayer. She was also cremated properly. It was an historic event and a little but significant step toward progress and acceptance that happened in Bangladesh. The event was so historic that it got international media attention - https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.com/news/amp/world-asia-51472606 -
This question is for my friends who live in western countries. How much does grade matter? Like bachelor grades. Are they important to have a good job? I have been planning on moving to Canada by admitting into a grad school. Then i want to get Permanent Residency and live there. Will it be hard for me to get a job after post graduation in a field which is not related to academics? I am planning on doing post grad in social science related subject as i majored in that. The reason of posting this here is i want to move because i think it is essential for my personal development.

@Hello from Russia what kind of online business are you talking about?
-
@exhale i see. Lets say i don't wanna have a job and want to create something of my own. In that case, how would you define Canada as a place for entrepreneural activity? Is it easy there to start a business?

@Apparition of Jack I appreciate your point of view. But don't you thing try to be "objective" is also another trap? I see many centrist people falling into this trap. Isn't it obvious that human beings are gonna take side no matter what? When there is survival involved, everybody gets involved. -

He seemed like a stupid to me. I would be very annoyed if i were Cornel West. -

@Apparition of Jack@Apparition of Jack I think you can tell a lot more by seeing the expression and non verbal cues. Those didn't feel right. I see. In that case, this is obviously biased and the show is formatted such a way that it would act like an authority over the truth and dismiss other opinion as bullshit. What about other channels? Are they also biased as Fox news? Ironically, even though i consider myself as liberal, i find channels like TYT and the humanist report biased in their presentation as well. They are not mainstream channel though. Sometimes i like what they are saying but also many times i felt they are taking things too far. -

I don't understand another thing. Tucker seemed like an attacker and disrespectful toward west while having him on his show. It didn't look civil. In fact it was quite ugly when he dismissed one of west's point as "silly". Even the caption Fox news was showing seemed biased. I do not think this as an ideal way to conduct an interview. Tucker was more interested in dismissing than listening to Cornel's point. -

@electroBeam i haven't seen this video fully, but amazed to look at Tucker. When Cornel west was talking, he kinda give a creepy and surprised look. It seemed like hatred coming out like a flood from him. -
@Lynnel i can feel you man, don't get upset and don't give up. It's nothing to do with you. Maybe where you are applying has their own communication problem going on. Otherwise i don't find any reason behind that sort of behaviour. Don't take it personally, just let yourself provide some breathing space

I kinda get what you are saying. Don't you think it will take some time to start something entrepreneurial given that i would be new to a particular country?i think it will take few years just to merge into new society and understand it a little bit more.

His words were wonderful. Clearly, he showed some solid stage green values.

He is nowhere near Yellow. To me he seems one other corporate democrat who is at stage orange-green. He is now like the prince of the establishment and it want him to return to pre trump era when politicians were boring and just protecting status quo. What America need is change and Pete isn't the best candidate to bring that. -

The way Cornel West talks, it seems to me that he is someone whose between stage green and yellow. He kept refering to inner conflict and how we should deal with it just amazed me. I did not expect this nuanced explanation coming from an academician. -
02/08/2020 I have removed GRE from my to do list. Most of the grad schools in Canada do not accept GRE so i see no point of giving effort on that. I would rather save the time for my freelance writing project. I have been diving deep into studies for MBA for the last few days. So far things are good but a bit worried about preparation. I can find myself sloppy here and there. I have recently heard that one of my friends got a job in British American Tobacco Company. I have been feeling a bit anxious since i heard that news. Well i am following my own path of becoming an entrepreneur but seeing my friends getting into jobs make me anxious and revisit my decision. But i know what i have chosen for me is better than getting into a job be just a slave of a company. Entrepreneurship is hard and success does not come overnight. So i guess i have to have the patience and ignore this anxious feeling.
