What do you think about US mid term election results? I thought Democrats were going to have a landslide victory but it didn't happen, and it kinda disappoints me. Btw i am not talking about from the political point of view but from self actualization point of view. I think democrats are more green and progressives. Why american people are not willing to go for progressives and to hold on republicans (Blue conservatives)?

@Leo Gura what do you think of progressives? Do you think progressivism is not needed as it will naturally happen? I personally think of myself as a progressive. So if progression happens without me doing anything, i would rather sit back and do nothing.

What is karma? And how does it function exactly? Many people say when they get hurt by people that those people will not go alone fine without facing their karma later in their life. I mean the suffering they created for others will eventually hit them back at some point of their life. Does karma works like this or it is something else?

I have heard about 60s revolution in America although I don't know much about it. What was those events about and why are those so significant? Can there be elements for self actualization?

I was also thinking before opening this thread that will it be appropriate to have open discussion in this topic in the forum. Because when it comes to politics people are quite quick to take sides and demonize the opposite one. But then i thought that politics is also part of our consciousness and we can not avoid this. I believe this discussion can be used to gain valuable insights about self actualization because hey, we are also part of society! And we can not escape it unless we live in jungle. I am not an American but still i took interest on their political issues because yes, any political change in America will have significant influence on the intetnational arena as well. I have been following through this interconnectedness for many years and discovering how complex global politics can be. So i think this discussion is in sync with this forum's purpose. Just we have to be conscious enough not to turn it for a issue to debate, criticize and ideolize. We have to have open mindednes.

@Leo Gura I live in south east Asia. I believe actualized.org has many followers in regions like Asia and Africa. If you do these tours in US and Europe, most of us can not afford to attend even if i believe many will be interested, so am I. So i request you to post those meetup sessions videos at a web platform so we can have access. I suggest that you can also charge an amount of money for that if it is convenient for you. Atleast then we can get those wisdom you intend to share from home.

Why does a woman cheat in a relationship? And how does she do it? I mean what sort of activities can be defined as cheating?

Leo puts enormous amount of emphasis on doing meditation. But why is so important? How can i be benefited if i do meditation? And how much time do i need to continue daily meditation to have those benefits? I am finding it hard even to motivate myself to build up a daily meditation practice. I have tried before but failed to continue.
