I am in the middle of a big transformation inside of myself. In the last four months I have been meditating a lot and after some time a LOT of emotions have begun to come out. I reailzed I have been living in a dream (mostly a nightmare ) for all of my life and that almost all of my personality has been deeply shaped by strong traumas I had in the first years of my life. I am almost 21 years old now. At the end of March I have been to a Vipassana meditation retreat and there I had a very strong emotional reaction and since then I began deepening the awareness over myself a lot. I have been then to a holotropic breathwork session and there too I had deep realizations and releases. In the last 2 months almost every day during meditation I had emotions coming out and I had also a very intense experience of oneness . Also, the levels of my consciousness have increased so much ! I have spoken about these experiences with a therapist and a bit in some sharing groups but I am alone in doing the process and emotions are still coming out : I am in the middle of a deep spiritual crisis . I want to go in a place where I can have support from people who can understand me and help me. Continuing the process alone is becoming hard and my mood and motivation are starting to decrease. Most normal people cannot understand these things and I don't have really anyone with whom I feel really grounded and with whom I would speak to now. Do you know of any community or center in Europe where I can receive support and stay there for some time ? Like some kind of spiritual community where I can both meditate on my own and have some emotional releases and speak with people that are supportive and understanding . In the meanwhile, it is ok for me also to Skype with someone who understands about these things. Do you know where can I find someone like this ? Most conventional therapist don't really seem to understand these kind of processes . Any other helpful advice would be great, thank you .

You need a minimum on theory to begin doing the work. When you know enough , then you can begin doing the experiential work and avoid unnecessary distraction with too much intellectual knowledge. At this point of my work I feel I need almost no more theory. I still need help and guidance in practical physical exercises though , but I would not call this theory. -
@MarkusSweden you have to put your attention on every sensation on your body form when it arises to when it passes and tell the truth about it. This requires getting unidentified with some of your thoughts to some extent.

@StephenK originally to get help, now mostly for distraction

@JediArron be mindful also of the sensations in your body, not just of your thoughts. This will increase the level of your consciousness more. -
Happy birthday Leo and deep appreciation for the work you are doing

@KenDo Pay attention to the sensations in your body and begins observing your thoughts. Tell the truth about your emotions , what you fear , what you are angry and sad about. The reason you have social anxiety is because you are lying, you are trying to be somebody else that you are not, you are trying to fulfill the expectations you imagine other people have from you. Begin doing physical practices such as yoga, bioenergetics and others to release repressed emotions. If you want to do the work fast go on a yoga or vipassana meditation retreat. I had severe social anxiety too and have overcome it. Good luck.

@ajasatya I like the style of your answers ajasatya. You have an impact on me when I read what you write. I saw your blog and that your name is Arthur Paulino. I also read a bit of the algorithms you explain , that I understand quite well even if they are in Portuguese since I speak Italian and Spanish and I studied physics in University.

I have scoliosis too in the lower back because my left leg is structurally a little bit shorter than the right one. I am healing my body now and maybe i will discover a deeper energetic cause for it. As of right now , I don't know . -

Thank you . When I was 13 I had no knowledge about psychology or enlightenment, I didn’t even know I could do something to change myself. I found out later and I remember I was very impressed about the fact that a little piece of knowledge can change so much a person’s life and that this important knowledge is so little spread. -

What brought you to spirituality so young ? I am 21 now and began meditating seriously when I turned 20 after a lot of suffering. -

At what age did you begin doing spiritual work ? -

I did not self induce my awakening, infact I didn’t even know what kundalini was when I awakened it. It awakened after a period of intense suffering that led me to do a lot of spiritual work all in once. Kundalini is speeding up my development tremendously but the quantity of emotional labour I’m going through is huge. And I still have a lot of work to do and still a lot of my Self to discover. Kundalini is really forcing me to live the most true, honest, and clean life possible, because if I don’t then it makes me experience suffering. Thanks i read in books about shaktipat but I never met anyone who experienced it. I spoke a lot with one enlightened man but I did not ask him about this. -

@WildeChilde kundalini is highly concentrated life energy located in the abdomen. Once it is awakened , all the stuck energy (repressed emotions, traumas, etc ) in all of your body will push to come out . This can produce very strong symptoms and be extremely debilitating. Awakening kundalini is a highway towards enlightenment. You have to be prepared to face your inner demons. Your repressed emotions (= the shadow that makes ego live = your neuroses = what distorts your perception of reality = demons ) cannot remain in you when kundalini is awakened. If kundalini is awakened once you have already done a lot of purification work (= your energetic body is already to a good extent clean ) , you will have weaker symptoms and you will obtain faster the positive effects it brings . There are also a lot of positive affects when kundalini is stabilized and flows well in you but I still haven’t experienced them. Usually kundalini is awakened once the navel or crown chakra are fully opened . I am in the kundalini process right now and I am having a very hard time. -
@CuteCornDog i think things are going to get better, I really hope so . gradually surrender to what is , feel every sensation in your body from when it arises to when it passes.

@h inandout I also have a lot of anger still inside of me. It is there to cover the grief. For a lot of time I never expressed anger but in the last year I let myself explode a lot of times and let out the rage even if it had no logic whatsoever with what was going on in the present moment. Often I also cried after expressing anger. What helped me to deal with it was mostly reading a book called radical honesty and attending a few radical honesty workshops. There I met conscious people that could understand that emotions don't necessarily need a reason to be there and I was able to learn how to deal with them better.

@Monkey-man Neurosis is caused by repressing emotions. You can have strong traumas, that become the basis for neurosis, before birth (while still in the uterus), during birth and right after birth . But nobody is "born" neuoritc in the sense that comes to this world with stuck energy. The origin of deep traumas is impossible to understand with the mind . The only way to reach these traumas is though some spiritual practice ( intense meditation , breathworks ,yoga , psychedelics, ). If you are highly neurotic and cannot explain to yourself the root of your neurosis, the only way to figure it out is to go deep into spiritual practices and make the leap in consciousness necessary to see the truth better. Furthermore, if you are highly sensitive, there is higher probability that you developed some big trauma really early on. I am in the process of healing right now and for me the great majority of traumas occurred in an extremely young age and I don't even have visual memories of most of the events connected to the traumas. If you want to study more about this you can read transpersonal psychology literature .

Do you know names of spiritual communities in Europe ?
