  1. I wouldn’t go that far and conclude that „eating meat is not that healthy“ because of all this. It’s good to be aware of such details as they might be relevant to a specific situation. As you’ve already mentioned it, I still wanna emphasize the big elephant in the room - these are correlations not causations. Keep this in mind before coming to a conclusion. I don’t think it’s helpful to cast a shadow on eating meat in general and making a reductionistic statement like this on a correlational basis. Despite this, following your argument on HCA and PAH are high cooking temperatures part of the problem. Could you be more specific about this? I imagine that every food becomes unhealthy or even toxic, if overheated or burned. Doesn’t mean it has to be a „meat problem“. Like French Fries. No one would conclude that potatoes are unhealthy because they form acrylamide when fried in high temperatures. And as for the AGEs, am I right, there is no problem, if I simply avoid eating sugar? From a nutritional standpoint is meat extremely nutrient dense and has its place in a healthy diet.
  2. Watch this video to get some ideas on what makes business/ marketing practices ethical or not. I've watched this video a long time ago and remember the following questions one should ask: 1. How much harm does or will the business or a particular business practice cause? 2. Am I targeting victims and sell bullshit products? He goes quite deep and gives good examples. It's worth watching.
  3. @woohoo123 Could you tell us more about the specifics of the music that you wanna create and the instrument that you consider to learn? What do you wanna become? A Dj or a singer songwriter, a classical pianist?
  4. I forgot to mention, that there are many breathing exercises that you can do as well. A very common one is the 4-7-8 technique. Check Andrew Weil on YT. He teaches this technique. It might be worth trying.
  5. Physical exercises are extremely beneficial. Make sure you are moving your body in addition to a healthy diet. If you are not into fitness, then start with walking, preferably in nature, so you can benefit from the biophilia effect. The longer and more exhausting it is, the more effective the relief will be. But if you never had a workout routine before, then I would suggest you start slow and gradually increase intensity. Surround yourself with positive and uplifting people for as much as possible/ avoid negative people as much as possible Quit or at least reduce wheat, caffeine, alcohol and sugar Intermitted fasting can help as well Reduce screen time, especially before going to bed Make sure you get quality sleep! Reduce or stop watching the news If I could pick just one, then it would be fitness/ movement. There are supplements that can help with anxiety like Magnesium, Zink, Ashwaganda and CBD Oil. But I don't know if you can take these on SSRIs.
  6. What's wrong with JP? Could someone enlighten me please? I'm really not a JP fanboy. Right now I'm listening to his 12 rules for life book. As far as I can tell it's some sort of a self help book with a lot of intellectual cross references from different sciences. Nothing wrong with that. Sometimes it's hard for me to listen to him because the tonality in his voice is quite dark and negatively sounding and some of his arguments in 12rfl seem really farfetched but that's probably not what you criticising here, right?
  7. Hey Heaven, try this: 1st: quit all caffeine sources (coffee, green tea, energy drinks or other sources). The withdrawal symptoms can be very heavy like depression or general states of low energy. Headaches will definitely appear. It will take at least 21 days or even longer before the caffeine caused symptoms are gone. 2nd. try magnesium supplements (try different highquality supplements and decide which one works best for you, there is no consent which one works best, so you have to try out) but you will sleep better and it will help your muscles to relax) 3rd quit sugar. Sugar is causing muscles tension (this is my own observation) 4th Do stretching! Stretch your neck, shoulder, back, jaw and arms. Do it consistently over few weeks! You can find a lot excercises on YT. You will immediately know which one works best for you if try some because your muscles are tense in some areas. Find those areas and stretch them. 5th Check if your jaw is tight. Some people grind their teeth during sleep. Your dentist can help you out additionally you can relive this issue by strechting and massaging your jaw. Hope this helps. It definitely helped me a lot with my headaches. Coffee was my source of headaches and other issues.
