Aware replied to Leo Gura's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Leo Gura @Visionary (I agree mostly with Leo's post, therefor some extra points). Dear readers, For those of you that truly are seeking spiritually regarding enlightenment. ask yourself the following: Am I truly ready for spiritual guidance? Because it seems, even though there are powerful comments posted by some, and some decent work has been placed for free here on this forum, that people still seem to fail to understand the following when it comes to spiritual guidance leading to enlightenment: Now I am going to make a few points: - If someone is not yet enlightened up to the level of Buddha, and is as wise and intelligent as you are, be nice and kindly working together, or search to find to work together as a strive. - If someone is not yet enlightened up to the level of Buddha, and is less wise and intelligent as you are, but you yourself are not yet at the level of Buddha, give kind advice to someone that is actually more wise and intelligent then yourself, and guide this person to this person yourself and asking yourself this person kindly to share Dharma. - If someone is definitely more wise and intelligent then yourself but is not yet enlightened up to the level of Buddha, you should be very respectful, kind, and refrained from any form of the slightest arrogance pretending to know better, or to reveal something this person has not seen in his or her presence. Listen well to this person, and ask this person questions that you have thought out before you enter this beings presence, may it be in physical presence or a private conversation as its presence or on this forum mentioning this beings name and thus make sure that you refer to your inner most deep questions that you seem to be stuck with. Don't just bombard after you hear the answer, the answer you get (give reputation for challenging your view), can be unpleasant to accept at first, but will reveal itself over time after practice as one would have been shown the way towards a great treasure. If someone is rooted, anchored in Dharma, may you never ever try to persway his doings by making points what an enlightened being should do or not do and if not like Buddha "as you happen to understand Buddha being an absolute expert in the field", just dropping everything one is teaching and tell yourself he or she is a fake. The reasons why something has been said, or posted anywhere, is far beyond your own understanding. May you never ever just blindly attack them. Instead, ask people that do understand Dharma here, what the meaning might be. Always, when people notice someones radiance of wisdom and intelligence considering Dharma reflecting in comments, and there is a line in all of the comments this being has made that has to do with either challenging ones belief system (for the hard nuts), or Dharma teachings of a kind that is a deep spiritual correction when it comes to your view, then contemplate the Dharma, don't judge the teacher because you think you can do it because you can't see the physical body, and can wildly, blindly post. Contemplating the Dharma, is asking about this beings teaching, What is the essence of your teaching? What are the techniques, and results over time? Understand that the feeling of great discomfort can happen in you when in presence, and by this you should be happy, it boiled up the attachment to refrain from, and look if thats not exactly has been pointed out in the comment section. Also, a being of great understanding has a nature of ending something. The comments have a tendency to close the subject, or is the last one posting regarding the subject. Some other points: When such a being speaks, you should immediately refrain from any other behavior that has nothing to do with careful reading and investigating what has been shared. Be in his presence (distance is irrelevant, giving this false idea up, and one experiences it also when reading on the forum), and don't you ever just bombard from self deluded views to make some kind of wild gesture where one seeks like minded opinions without having any arguments to confirm your point relating to the subject. The reason is the results after such actions. The result of the action of bombarding when someone of great understanding speaks, may it be on a forum or in physical presence, a decent damage will be done upon yourself when it comes to intellect over time, mental tiredness and restlessness follow quickly after. When such a being of great understanding has spoken Dharma, people of like minded that are working hard to get the deep meaning, should help others understand the deep meaning and share them among those seekers, without being attached to its results. When still not understanding, and the others could not also, then let someone that understands most of the shared Dharma's contact the teacher for more information that can be shared, let this be in private. The teacher can decide himself rather to reply the message or just post another post or thread to share among others. Give reputation upon comments that challenged your belief system and not the comments that just fits your silly opinion. Give reputation on comments with questions that actually were well asked, and well answered (not the smart talk attacking the one asking). Blindly giving reputation brings nothing goods. Especially deep corrections of ones view, should receive reputation for those who are newcomers. One of the most deluded things one can do, is to try to get others to share deluded opinions that have non value or are not related to the given subject, trying to get a division among people that try to understand Dharma. This leads to heavy results that are of a painful nature over longer periods of time, refrain from such actions leading to such results! Therefor, don't have multiple teachers at the same time, follow a teaching, and then move on when finally seen it worked or not after truly practicing. Take what you need and move on, without being disrespectful about your previous teacher, instead, if you gained a higher, better understanding, be willing to share this so that your previous teacher can advance as well, for the sake of suffering. If you are not really up to what is written above, then ask yourself: What am I doing really? I want guidance, but am not willing to form my mind to be a proper student. Think about it. And again, think about it, is this comment of starting a lot of conversations? Or has it a closing nature? (And don't give me that: Oops he is after reputation guys!)... No, look at the nature of the comment and see if its right or not. Any idea how childish it is, unintelligent it is to just seek false opinions supporting your own deluded views? -

There is no truth found in many religions. Religion IS you.. Truth IS you. There are no millions of paths and traditions. There is but one. You yourself are the way. The day One can escape oneself, I will be more then happy to believe truth is found in one of the many religions. -

@Callum A Awareness can't differ from one another. We do like to play the pretending game that we are not ourself, and pretend we have good reason to be not ourselves. Yes,I am aware I speak to you, just as I speak to myself. I wish I could understand you, could understand me better by pretending I am someone else, separated from you, guess its game over. I can't help it but to love, no matter how much one hates, when I figured out who they are, I love Callum, I love. I wish that people could hear me, but they will hear themselves. And when I hear myself, I cannot help it, but to love Callum, to love. I wish you could be separated from me, but when I see how this is not possible and our wishes are no different, I cannot help it, but to love Callum, to love. I wish we could become one, but when I see how this is not possible, and our wishes are no different, I cannot help it, but to love Callum, to love. -

@abrakamowse @Wormon Blatburm Its a good tool, for a spiritual teacher. (or someone with a spiritual teaching that is valid), but without proper guidance, one is just trapped, servant of the senses. Many really think, that there is an automatic system that leads them to enlightenment, if they take this and that, or do this and that, they automatically succeed one day. That everything just always flows towards enlightenment. This is however their game, and a long cycle indeed. Or did you readers not notice? A bunch of people on this forum, are really propagating they are nothing. Well this is of course their game, and a long cycle indeed. Well because we are nothing, we are therefor everything, shush Motus you just don't get it. Well readers, did you guys not read such posts? This is however their game, and a long cycling game indeed. With or without such technology, I do not see any difference in being a game addict at all. -

I think here lies the problem waveintheocean. This is the root of your idea of being. I state that I am Awareness, but we discussed already, that it doesn't mean its there like being something (like with victim and raper). Thinking you are nothing, is the polarized way of therefor being something (or everything). And this is based on a wrong view. Why? Because the law of everything states, everything is temporary in nature, nothing is permanent... Yet you can't there for be a single thing out of anything due to that its empty in nature. Then, due to that this is the case, one state: I am therefor nothing. Which is still the same attachment to eternalness. (The belief someone is something (everything) is nihilism, and the belief someone is nothing, is eternalism. Its the middle way to take, Awareness. This belief of being something or nothing is thus an absolute trap) (and a classical one, the trap of extremes). The trap of something and nothing is a dangerous long cycle. Awareness, and polarity can be compared with the sun. The sunlight is always sunlight and everything transforms due to it. However without this sunlight, what will be living on earth? The sunlight or its warmth is not something, nor is it nothing, just like with the body and awareness. Nothing, can't govern, nor can something govern anything. Awareness can and does govern, yet not being entangled with the process of this all, the warmth of the sun isn't something, nor nothing. And to go to the bottom of it, one states due to thinking one is nothing, that awareness, isn't nothing, therefor it must be something (everything). And because its something its temporary in nature. (Nihilism, you the small particle in the big ocean of everything) Yes, this is like a splinter in ones mind. Now you get the part about nothing. Nothing is permanent in nature... This with, everything being temporary in nature. This means, Nothing IS permanent, but Nothing has not a permanent nature (it would then be Awareness which is not nothing) (nor has it a temporary nature, nothing isn't everything, because its not temporary in nature). Awareness is permanent in ITS nature whatever subtle transcendental nature that might be. And this is the trap where many seem to fall for... Eternalism (being permanent, which is nothing). Then you get, oh, we should use the word infinity instead, but its the same attachment to eternalism, the same extreme. Then Awareness in this view, through these glases of attachment to eternlalism, becomes a sort of something, even though temporary in nature, one settles with the fact that one is nothing after all, always beyond, there for infinity. This surely is a splinter indeed, and I definitely hope it is highlighted clearly now. This view, and accumulation of thinking being nothing, while one isn't nothing or something, leads to immorality being chaotic and restless as a result. Surely now became clear that I never stated that I am everything (nor nothing), not in any of my posts anywhere on this forum. (prove me wrong) and that this too is highlighted clearly now. I hope now became clear that this is based on ones beLIEf that one is everything by being nothing, which is eternalism. (Awareness is all pervasive, can't be compared, so can't be insignificant, that would be like telling the sunlight and its warmth is insignificant to life on earth). Some other points: "Because I am attaining Awareness... I can only see one. And the only difference is: Is one attached to ones desires or not. " I work hard in Attaining Awareness, and I am guaranteed to succeed. All signals are clear due to that. I have not yet attained complete Awareness, but am completely anchored, well established in Dharma, seeing one. Which means that only Karmic results are playing itself out, when naturally coming to its end, then I attained the Supreme. However this is tricky because I could end as no longer coming for a rebirth, this I prevent and will prevent consciously, therefor, I have choosen the path of Buddhisattva, which in turn, if you want to know, will take eons before I reach the stage of becoming a fully enlightened self awakened Buddha. I never stated that I attained enlightenment anywhere in my posts. However, I am doing my duty, teaching, writing (many including yourself post wonderful questions for the book I write). Doing ones duty that is in accordance with ones core, is better then meditation, due to that one can learn to be free of the result of his actions. If one would do someone else job, although perfect, one will be attached to the fruits of result. So better to make countless mistakes doing the job that resonates with your own heart. This is of course apart from the subject presented here. That someone does or does not yet attained the supreme, doesn't mean one can't learn from such a being. Please understand, if someone is clearly less wise then yourself, refrain from this person if not being able to guide from your heart yet. If someone is equally wise then yourself, one should together work on advancing spiritually. And if someone is clearly wiser then yourself, stay in touch and learn from him. One could state from someone who is attaining Awareness, that one has not yet Attained awareness, but have had its fruit already, and works and lives without sin, free from the fruits of good and bad regarding ones duty. Such a being is anchored, well established in the Dharma. Saying that one must have reached ultimate enlightenment, and then only then one might teach about enlightenment, is utterly nonsense, such thinking brings no luck of any kind. And due that this teachings are about enlightenment, coming from one that is well established, is guaranteed to succeed, there is not a trace of pretending. Do you yourself honestly think, that of all my posts here on this website, you would think would come from a pretender?? Someone who has fully attained enlightenment, is much greater then I am, if you find this already great, surely you havent have any clue what a fully realized one is like. Nah, not quite true. The concepts shared here, and the techniques shared, are the teacher. You yourself must become the way. A spiritual teacher or guide, is someone throwing you on yourself, and when accepting and working hard, this going inside, and outside, and back within, rubs ones mind clean like two hands rubbing each other until both hands are clean. Regarding being everything or nothing, or being nothing therefor everything: Refrained from both extremes of being; one walks the middle path that is Awareness. -

I can't help you WaveInTheOcean, in further explanation, but will again share. I can only say, read my post again. After that, as a result, one bursts. Why? Because one that is attached to desires believes to see many ways. But to someone who is calm, is attaining awareness, sees but only Awareness in all beings. There is no other way then yourself. You yourself must become the way. And this is always the case. One sees differences, due to he has a sense of self, and all those who are attached to desires, do exactly see the same, that there are many ways and believe this to be true. But to those who are calm, Attaining Awareness, know, they themselves must be their own way, which doesn't differ from others. It seems, that people follow many traditions. But they only serve their Awareness. Forms seem to differ, why? Because people believe them to be real and those who believe it to be real, are attached to their desires, and think there are many forms. But to whom is attaining Awareness, this one sees that all forms are empty, and sees but one form. All this and all that, all these and all those... Attachment to desires, a sense of self, surely makes one believe that there is differences in all objects, but one who is attaining Awareness, sees but one object. So how does Dharma come to be? By contact, whereby one is not resisting and the one attached to desires throws anything that is not in accordance, there Dharma is born. Dharma is one with protection, and can therefor only be coming from one, and leading to one. And never shows many ways but one. That is You, yourself. And the other, well, I don't know anything about him. May these words calm and bring freedom of mind. -

This always a difficult one to explain in words, because... I will try to explain this, but its hard due to the language... Because I am attaining Awareness... I can only see one. And the only difference is: Is one attached to ones desires or not. So take all people here on this website... They all seem to have different profile pictures etc... But to me, its one. Either one is attached or not. In either case, if the attachment is gone, they ARE Me, just without the attachment to desire (which doesn't different from you due to its all pervasiveness). This attachment to desire, may it be from a killer or someone who just is abusing verbally, doesn't differ either... Every time if one is done with the attachment to desire, they are Me (which they already are, but pretend that they are not, but don't realize they do so). So I only see one way. And that is themselves. So... if you state, there are other ways, and I would firmly state, in which way do they differ? Then it ends always in the end in, well, the attachment to their desires was no longer supported and dissolved, like a wind over a flame and gone was the flame. But Aware, the way to it did differ. Oh, how so? No wait, that is wrong, let me state it different: But the experiences differ... Oh, how so? Its always from polarity to no longer attached to it? The experience is always from painful, sorrowful to no longer suffering from attachment to desires? So in the end, I see no difference between Awareness (thats silly)... Or between the illusion of separation (which is to all still the same One+Illusion of separation). And I do not see any difference in seclusion from unwholesomeness (always difficult). And I do not see any difference in the end of suffering, (always blissful) I hope you can see, that I in fact, am aware that I speak to myself right now, sending you this. Rooted in self, concentrated on Awareness, I do not see any difference but one: Is one attached, or not. -
Aware replied to Aware's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@WaveInTheOcean Yes, I can't put my finger on what was before the state of ignorance and how this came to be... Because then you do get what you say, that is putting infinity in a box pretending something has changed about its own infinity. This is just ones imagination and false belief, which can't solve the problem of ignorance when it comes about how it came to be, because one just happened to be still been situated in it, and did just perfectly demonstrate that. Because we can't answer this, I therefor state: Question must be asked differently. How can we destroy ignorance first? And then you get the whole sequence again about seclusion from unwholesome deeds and the law of action and result that must be turned to our advantage by understanding and living up to it, and not to a clear disadvantage. Living up to it, rooted in understanding the law of everything leads to wisdom as a result, which ends ignorance. -

I am afraid that this is you that is saying this right now. I cannot see that I said that raping is not in accordance with the law of impermanence, or that I say that partying and drinking is not in accordance with the law of impermanence. (however, I state it is due to their view that is right or not right). Its wrong by its results that are either in or not in accordance with the law of impermanence. So if its based on an I, that is separated, and this is certainly the case with raper and victim, then by this result, it is not in accordance, because there is in itself no separated I. However what you might have missed, is the deep meaning of it: I state therefor also, that even if someone is raped, he isn't always the victim of it, while the raper must be, and will be factual as a result becomes his own victim by the same law of action leading to its according result. Let me explain this: We state it for language sake that there is a raper and a victim, but its not factual. A monk can be raped, as a result of previous deeds long ago, while he is no longer bound, but will therefor not be the victim of raping even though being raped. We call it so, but isn't in fact true, due to that the action one is in, doesn't lead to the same result as he goes through which proves he isn't victim, the other certainly is. Therefor, the raper is situated in ignorance, while the monk is not, proven by the result that will follow out of the action that is presented right now, being not attached to his desires, while the other must be. (His action must lead to himself being victim of his own action, being in a false belief raping another). If the raper sees his mistake later, and becomes a monk, and is unattached to desire, he too can maybe be attacked by someone, who broke some bones (result of his previous action). But he as well, is no longer bound, and proves there for not being a victim, but the one breaking bones, certainly is. So the action of becoming a monk, have had its results as well. And this is exactly the difference I spoke about: in, or not in accordance with the law of temporary proven by the action and its result that must follow, where one is either acting upon the belief of separation or not. (This is very very deep though, and almost impossible for me to write down properly due to language barriers). That I speak in words about an I, or him, doesn't mean that there is one. Same with speaking about a raper and victim, doesn't mean there is one. Its by their views, their behavior as a result of it, and by the action one is right now, one discerns right view from wrong view and rather there is a victim or no victim. (however, the raper is already victim by thinking he rapes another, while there isn't one to be found). Therefor (if you can still follow) I stated that the right view is: This situation is a result of previous situations, and this situation will lead to the next. We are the result of our thinking, heirs of our thinking, the accumulation of our thinking. -

@Paulo Barbosa To be honest I think, desire. Boredom. Just to experience himself, he must divide, being in polarity at some point, to play the game from one side, and then the other side to realize his wholeness that Awareness always was, is and shall be. You are not separated. Never was, its only an illusion. -
Aware replied to Who Knows's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Its our attachment to our attachment. (Craving, thirst, attachment to desire = Thirst, craving). (we need some attachment, attachment is not in itself wrong, but attached to desires, its thirst. The teaching part is a complex one. Awareness is all pervasive, its duty is beyond our imagination. Arjuna needed to fight ones own relatives in a great war as being in alliance with Krishna (personification of Godhead, Awareness). He was bewildered by doubt of course. One does then the duty that is at resonance with ones true self, what ever that may be. I do not think that this truly matters. Awareness has no origin. -
Aware replied to Who Knows's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Paulo Barbosa Great advancements I hear, good! All things seem different, and in believing so, suffering is indeed perfectly normal and does not have to be dealt with. However, seen from a oneness perspective, it is indeed a whole other piece of cake. Awareness, is all pervasive. It means, that if your view becomes: All things are temporary, previous states have led to this one, and this state will lead to the next one, then there is no room in this continuity for an separated I. So all beings that do suffer, due to thirst, attached to desires, are not differently attached. So without their attachment, they are You. Your neighbor without attachment to desire, is also you. So we don't differ by being Awareness, or having not a body (we do have a body, and the attachment to desire doesn't differ either). And there for, the illusion of separation isn't different in one either. Now the world is a lot smaller suddenly. The only thing that now matters is: Is one attached or not. But if you are not attached, and in line with One, you can make a difference to Yourself, by helping others that are deluded by thinking they are separated from anything else. And I see this as the true duty being Awareness, always sharing medicine for one that is attached to ones desire, that would be also himself if no longer attached to ones desires. (he or she is already, but just fails to realize the pretending game of not being himself) So I completely agree, just sitting there as a sitting duck, is just not the highest form of devotion to ones True self. (Awareness). -
Aware replied to Who Knows's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I think both statements are serving the same purpose of doing something about ones own suffering. You have a good heart, it doesn't have to be this way, however, it happens anyway by the laws of nature. Buddha, and others therefor did their utmost to get them to understanding, teaching the Dharma for the sake of suffering. By that this does not change, therefor when you get rid of your suffering, you will be compassionate, due to that it can be different, but will never be different for most. Only some will understand the Dharma, and they end suffering, and many will continue to suffer by their own doing, thinking they do it to others (while we are essentially one, Awareness). -
Aware replied to Who Knows's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Paulo Barbosa It means, that it will never stop. That only the person who worries about it, should and can make a change for himself by seeing that one suffers by his own hands, and changing, doing something about this, will stop ones worries about the world that will always be in duality of some kind. What it means is, that they are not in fact animals, their physical garments, but are Awareness, not separated from one another. And there for I stated: -
Aware replied to Who Knows's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Paulo Barbosa The law of action and result Paulo, doesn't change. Its not how animals suffer by the hands of humans, or the humans at the claws of animals. Its how they suffer by the hands or claws of their own. Life feeds on life. -
