Aware replied to The White Belt's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@BeginnerActualizer Please listen carefully. You are awareness, which is all pervasive and selfless already, not limited to one body or mind, but pervasive to all bodies and mind. There for some behavior is in accordance, and other behavior is not. When righteous student lives a life in seclusion from unwholesome deeds (leading to polarity, good and evil deeds) focusing on the all pervasive You (Awareness), living secluded from unwholesome behavior namely: unwholesome views, intention, speech, act, effort, livelihood, attention and concentration, the righteous student has but one goal, freedom of mind. The righteous student is there for kind to others, to overcome his own anger not from a view it must reach enlightenment but knowingly that enlightenment is the discipline the noble student is already practicing, namely: Living in seclusion from unwholesome behavior. Enlightenment is an allround discipline, not an end station. There for after some hard work, the noble student realizes that love and kindness, is for the benefit of all, it never is or was bound to anyone. And so it is, the noble student will eventually by living secluded from unwholesome behavior completely eradicate by lack of fuel the root of his suffering, namely: Desire.- 6 replies

@vizual Dear Vizual, No matter how many or how less words I am going to put in this reply, you won't be able to know. I would ask in return, isn't the ultimate question rather if it brought You to new insight to work with, which you know by heart will bring you closer to your true self? -

@Mr Lenny Please listen to me carefully. You are not somethingness, nor are you nothingness. Both views are related to nihilism and eternalism. Concluding that one is nothing because he is not something, is a wrong conclusion. That which you are, is all pervasive Awareness. Which is not nothing, or something, a combination or a subtraction of something and nothing. All pervasive awareness, is not bound to a single body or a single mind, but is all pervasive throughout all bodies and minds. And by this, there is behavior in accordance with all pervasive awareness, and behavior that is not. The behavior of good and bad deeds are not in accordance with Awareness, and are there for suffering due to their conditioned states. The true good deeds, that are in accordance, are the deeds that arose from seclusion from wrong view, intention, act, speech, effort, livelihood, attention and concentration. Its a deed sprouted from the from the right view, that there is only Awareness, and there for there is polarity of good and evil with the root of it as being desire. Wrongful deeds, are deeds where one forgot about oneness due to his desires, and thinks there are others besides awareness and acts accordingly in believing so, which creates huge clouds everywhere, making it hard to realize the truth, to remember again what one is. There for let one seclude from wrong view, intention, act, speech, effort, livelihood, attention and concentration by focusing on how in essence you do not differ, but that due to forgetfulness of ones true nature one behaves badly. Stop the flood of bad information, alcohol, drugs, to much food and focus on the all pervasive you and receive knowledge accordingly. Work hard, surely soon or later your view becomes perfect. -
One can fully seclude from entertainment by cutting of the root that leads you to stream back in it over and over again. Ones desire to know the Truth, to end all attachment that doesn't lead to the end of suffering must overthrow the desire to be, or become someone in this world. My own discipline: 4-6 hours sleep from 00:00. A shower, eating healthy food and water or tea. Meditation, study of dharma followed by meditation and sharing what I realized to be true with others. And 23:30 I meditate till 00:00, and go to sleep or into very deep meditation. Sometimes I go to bed much later when someone asks for explanation of Dharma.

@Leo Gura I am sure you would agree, that after my explanation or exposition, that Ego is the result of our thinking and not the thinking itself. Due to that nothing is permanent, there is law of action and result. Due to this same law, Ego does have a root, which is desire. Without wrong desires, there is no Ego. And so due to this same law of action and result, by right desire, one can end wrong desire. There for these 7 factors are to be developed and blossomed: Seclusion from the world, leading to mindfulness and becoming firm > Investigation of right Dharma's (teachings about reality) > Energy > Joy > Peacefulness > Concentration > Surrender, equanimity. Developing these, letting them blossom, ends wrong desire, and there for ego. Now let me reply the following: As I explained, everything is temporary, nothing is permanent, it is not a make of "much more likely" to achieve surrender. If someone could not surrender in the end, he or she did not develop the 7 factors to its end. It is by its result that one could not surrender, and not by chance. So like ego is the result of our thinking, like this, not being able to surrender is the result as well to our previous thinking, and our deeds that came forth out of it. There for, surrender does not happen when it happens, it happens when developed the 7 factors of enlightenment to its blossoming. -

No one cannot do anything about being sick, becoming old, and die. Change is inevitable. Surely when one gets rid of its attachment to it, one is loving and is kind. And this is another thing one cannot do something about it. There for, we can influence, but not actually control, and therefor we can't do whatever we like. Wont you agree Egoisego? If surrender would happen whenever it happens, than previous situations, did not led to this one, and this one not to other situations. The previous mindset not to this mindset, and this mindset not to the next. Because nothing is permanent, there is no accident, there is just law. Due to that physical objects, feelings, sense impressions, intellect, mental formations, perception and consciousness are unstable, come and go according to their conditions they arose and by their nature, they contain not a self, are therefor not me, you, us, them, but empty in their nature. And because there is no trace of self due to this temporary phenomenon, there is law of action leading to results. And by this would you not agree, if one secludes from worldly activities and their sensory indulgence, one becomes mindful and firm, this leads to investigation of teachings, leads to energy, leading to joy, leading to peacefulness, leading to concentration, and surely due to this, leads to surrender, equanimity?! There for, Ego is not THE thinking, but the result of our thinking. -
Let me shed light on this subject. Rocky, your belief is rather it is all or nothing. This limited way of thinking, which seems promoted by the educational system is not necessary a truth. Although logical, doing it well, or not. But not truth in a sense it can make you happy, fulfilled at the same time you want to have results on school. I studied biology and a bunch of other courses from the university. And dropped out, but exactly the opposite from your situation. I scored very high, and had no reason to cut it off due to it. But it did not make me happy. With all my intellect, high scores, I was not happy. My world view got distorted, my emotional life became flat, and my head a furnace. So, in the end, I dropped it myself. I could either go on, or drop it and pick it up later. Glad that I dropped it, studied a lot of philosophy, and found a teaching that truly works. I said: Let me live a simple life. Let me get rid of useless contacts. Away from all sensory indulgence of the world and its delusional views. Let me cut of the root in my mind that continuously makes me think that I must be- or become someone for the world and its delusions. And if it does not work, let me go back to university. And so it is, I live simple now, eat only once a day, meditate a lot, studied the Dharma of lord Buddha (dropped it now, due to that I am realizing it), purified my belief system, intentions, speech, act, effort, livelihood, attention and concentration, and my heart became freed from the snare of delusion, hatred and desire. The result: I am not going to pick it up again. I realized my true life purpose, which is deeper and more profound then university, being clever, being hold loot in front of my nose each time promising that my life will be better if I continue to be or become someone in this world according to world mass belief. Surely, Rocky, there is another way.

Live a year in seclusion from worldly activities. All worldly entertainment, eat once a day simple food (morning), drink plain or distilled water (if its bad in your country). Be alone, or with others with the same goal or wise people. Set the goal of purifying your belief system, *intention, speech, act, livelihood, effort, attention and concentration. Meditate observing your breath. Challenge your old beLIEf system of what is taught on school (using for e.g internet): Ball earth, evolution theory, gravity and so on. Sort out who was truly enlightened, which the teaching is still available today to learn from. Surely, one discovers his true goal of life. Cessation of suffering, becoming truly happy. * Truly right is the intention to seclude from ones job in order to find ones true purpose in life.

Life purpose: One can have up to 8 life purposes, and train them all together, namely: Purifying ones belief system, intentions, acts, speech, effort, livelihood, attention and concentration. Why I contemplate this as being THE 8 life purposes? Impact: Because there are mainly 3 things, that are surely happening, disease, old age and death. Therefor the 8 life purposes are THE purposes because they get rid of the attachment to disease, old age and death that non can escape without getting rid of the attachment to it. Zone of genius: True happiness. The 2 life purposes you put there, I see simply as one life purpose, namely: to have right livelihood. Ideal medium: Yourself. Let me ask you something in return, you can answer this question as you seem most proper. Can you name beside these 8 life purposes another true life purpose?

When language is not there, and one is taken by worldly desires; Surely one identifies with anything else, except for language. -
We are not nothing, we are not something. From nothing does not come something, and from something comes not nothing. There is not a single trace of self to be found, not in the form of something, and not as a not form like nothing or a combination of it. Let me share the truth. People can endlessly sit down, try to observe this or that, question this or that in this or other manner, sit like this or sit like that, stand like this or stand like that, walk like this or walk like that, eat this or like this, take drugs for that, drink this or that in this way or that way, play this game or that game, meditating like this or like that, practice yoga for this and that, stop eating food for so long, or so short, but it has 0 guarantee they will awaken to the law of everything for as long as people do not purify their beLIEve system, their intentions, their acts, their efforts, their speech, their livelihood, their attention and concentration. Suffering, disease of the body, disease of the mind, should be understood. Craving, which is the cause of suffering should be, abandoned. The cessation of suffering, should be realized. The path of practice, leading to the cessation of suffering, should be developed. Its by ones accumulation of good deeds, ones purification of beLIEve system, intentions, acts, efforts, speech, livelihood, attention and concentration one will, and only through this realize the truth. Although by meditating, experiencing the coming and going of mental states promotes the thought: I am nothing or the source is nothing, it is in truth not nothing. Although by not meditating, experiencing everything as like everything is permanent in nature promoting that the source is everything, it is in truth not everything either. Although by meditating, and not meditating, experiencing everything was neither everything or nothing, promoting it is a third party, it is in truth not a third party. Although by not meditating as meditating, and meditating, experiencing everything and nothing being the source of everything, promotes the thought the truth being a subtraction from everything and nothing, the truth is not a subtraction or result of a subtraction. The extremes of everything or nothing being the source should be abandoned. And the middle path should be walked, which is calm and peaceful in nature, leading to the realization of true happiness. What exactly can I do, in a practical sense? - Get rid of attachment to food, eat 1 time a day, and not after the morning (12 o clock), drink during the day mostly plain water. - Observe the coming and going of all things in nature, by their conditions and nature. - Get rid of all sensory indulgence that are of the world, examples: Television, gaming, drugs, teachings of the world, just all worldly entertainment. - Get rid of all contacts that are worrying about the world, complain about the world, are stuck in their worldly beLIEves. - Challenge what you have been taught: Evolution theory, ball earth, dinosaurs, the moon landing and gravity. (Seek the disprovals and test them if can). - Change your attitude towards science: If not experienced it, if not a trusted friend experienced it, and if you did not test over the experiments nor your trusted friend, and have not sufficient proof, only some images, video, presentation of something, presentation by someone with a title, or a mass that believes in it, abandon it as widely speculation until discovered yourself. - Meditate by observing the breath (if difficult, focus on your physical heart first, observing the breath will become natural), and register it, long short etc. Surely, one is hard on his way and will soon, or later realize the truth. Accumulation of wholesome deeds; the cessation of unwholesome deeds, surely leads to great happiness.
