Ok but you are saying that from your level of consciousness and so from that level you can still find people who can "satisfy you" without too much difficulty. I'm sorry but I can't unless someone is close in level of consciousness. Like I am a teacher otherwise, it's not to look down, this is just how it works as you go further into this "journey". Hope you can understand. And right now I happen to be at a place where there's nobody (I could reasonably contact) that I can really have any real meaningful relationship with (friendship or otherwise). And some of that isn't even up to me, some people literally run away from me as well due to my state (and what I end up saying to them as a result of it) lol. -
Yeah in my experience it has been rare to come across people who are more mindful like that.. There really is discrimination out there and I have been going out less and less as a result of it.. But I'm saying in order to "get" or love someone who does not fit into heterosexual norms you have to be more mindful.. which requires some form of jailbreaking of your mind, there's not really a way around this.

I'm just offering mushrooms because that's what I used mainly to get to where I am. The other ones are not my forte so you'd have to find others. It's not as easy to get 5-meo here I had to order it from EU, but again, 5-meo is not my forte. -

@Nemra I mean you would have to pay the cost of getting to where I am and your accommodations as part of your budget. As far as the mushrooms goes.. it's pretty low cost here and I don't mind sharing unless it starts to become large quantities somehow.. which isn't how I would do things anyway. -

Ok I understand. So where I am in Canada, it is not technically legal either except for medical use but they don't really care for personal uses so I can easily get it. I don't run any "centers" and I understand that you don't really know me. I guess my offer still stands if you ever want to visit Canada, I would be happy to help you (at no cost other than your own travel cost) if you'd like to try/work with mushrooms. -

Ok so you are saying you have problem with access is what I'm gathering. -

I did it all solo, so I'm not experienced with group settings. That said if you can't find a suitable one it may still help to have someone who's experienced and hold space in some form. -

If you are interested in mushrooms feel free to message me.. I don't charge anything if you just want some guidance, but am experienced in it. -

Not your original mind, or you would be the same as me by now. -
puporing replied to James123's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Nice try but that's not exactly how this thing works. You have a mind to awaken. -
puporing replied to James123's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Maybe not for you, but for me what would be better is if more people actually awakened (further), rather than keep on being stuck in this dream. But I understand I am massively "outnumbered". -

I don't know.. don't get me wrong I used to be into weird creatures and stuff like hummingbirds too.. but I can't exactly "communicate" with them, same with humans these days... -
@Shane Hanlon Interesting.. I experience the opposite, there's not much emphasis on "transcending" from my view.. most people are kind of stuck at where their average peers are at and is very hard to get them out of it.. Your mind is literally afraid of "transcending", it cares much more about "fitting in". For example I still have not found any spiritual circles that is LGBT friendly, it's all so heteronormative.

@trenton It sounds to me like you are already doing "your purpose" where you can. It's not absolutely necessary to turn that into a career if there's not a good fit for that. I would argue that the things that you are listing are generally not things that will earn you a steady income in this world (at the highest level). I am a healer but I have no desire to be a "professional therapist" the way this world is running it for example. I'm not saying you can't be though.. In terms of your own struggles.. if you ever want to reach out, feel free to, I have gone through some similar things with my family and may be of assistance in getting out of that particular funk. I consider myself "orphaned" some time ago.

@Schizophonia We are not getting anywhere coz we are talking to each other from pretty different states. Even if some one were to pay me lots of money I am not just going to "take anyone". I have actually turned down people who offered to pay me. Money is not my goal with this particular work, especially when people who truly need my help (could also be in some other fashion not strictly as a spiritual teacher) are usually poor. If I was truly struggling with survival like about to put on the street I would probably just say so. As to Airbnb, it is quite a bit of work for what you get paid for, maybe not like a McD's worker I guess, in my case anyway. I also do some side jobs and back in school atm. The thing is that, if someone more well off were interested to pay me for my time or whatever, and they're close to my state, it would be more like a "donation" anyway.
-
That's an interesting viewpoint, I don't think teachers who take money would be an exception to that though. I personally drift away when teachers keep enforcing the payment issue, it implies that I am not their equal.
-
I would advise finding paid work that is still "of this world" that aligns well with your spiritual pursuits. Short of that, you could also try creative ways to reduce expenses, like living minimally. Problem with tying your income with being a spiritual teacher is that it tends to corrupt it, because you'll be chasing clicks or something that can be of monetary value from your followers one way or another. I mean if you think about it, if everyone here suddenly became a "spiritual teacher" and tried to make money off of it, you will quickly run out of people. And personally, I just don't really agree with exchanging of money with spiritual teaching.. coz where I'm at.. if someone were interested in reaching my state, they'd be an equal soon enough. Not to mention that almost nobody even wants to reach this state lol .

The argument is flawed because almost nobody here would want to work for McDonald's for example or consider that a "success" esp if it barely pays your bills. Almost all of these so called "successful" people are doing it by exploiting the people who do the actual work on the ground. If you're conscious enough you'd actually rather be semi-homeless than working for one of these so-called successful companies/bosses if you got no other good options. Like I'd rather die than slaving away my life at one of those jobs just to "barely make it", knowing the injustices behind it, what's even the point? Like I know you're talking about being the beneficiary of one of those successful companies, but it's not really a success overall if you gave a damn about other people.

I advise shifting your focus on your body appearance to your being. Though I understand that the body still has a function in this world. And I can assure you that you can be perfectly attractive and/or respectable if you went bald one day. People who turn away from you just because you are bald I mean.. really, ask yourself, is that really what you want to associate with? There's much to uncover for you there that you haven't yet found based on this question. I hope that you would consider this as a gift to you rather than a criticism.
-
Not to downplay your situation but you're already doing better than me.. I've accepted the cost of what I really am in exchange for social isolation (involuntary). There's basically nobody who I can be "me" around and that's not really a point for me for a true relationship/friendship built on who I am not. So there's a cost to this work if you took it seriously is what I'm trying to say. I am literally in like an "isolation chamber" effectively, since the past 1-2 years as a result of this work lol. But that's still like nothing compared to what the first Christ had to go through after his death I imagine. He had about a 2 century worth of "isolation chamber" as far as I am aware.

yes no one denies there are such cases, however for every such case there are also many cases of people working their butt off and barely paying their bills and risking becoming evicted, as well as suicides or MAIDs (medical assistance in dying) that are not due to chronic, severe, untreatable illness.

Yes and no depends.. I say that because sometimes just based on your appearance (like ethnic or gender) you could lose out on better paying jobs. Some guy pouring beer at a nice bar can make quite a bit of money if he was able to get and keep that job, that's a pretty nice "bootstrapping" kind of job to save some money but def not everyone can get, they tend to be nice looking sociable people.. but again you can always try. You should try to find nice people if you can... If you are lucky to find any they can make a big difference in your work life potentially. If you find the right connection or mentor or partnership(s), that can change your life. But there's nothing guaranteeing this. I'd say raising your state of consciousness can help with this quite a bit too since like would attract like. A nice person who would be in a position to mentor will not just take anyone too.

I'm not talking about the bible though.. I didn't read the bible nor very familiar with it.. I read ACIM. And yeah I know the "problem".. trust me Christians have tried to tell me I can't be "that guy" because I was promoting a different text.. so I get nowhere with Christians sadly. And then non-Christians I face problems like "you're a made up thing". This is really what happens if you ever reach this state lol. Everyone will come up with a "seemingly reasonable sounding" thing to brush you aside. I mean I don't know to laugh or cry at the situation sometimes. -
Depends on what resonates with you I guess, sometimes it's things like talk therapy.. just being heard and understood. You could also try calling distress line if it's really bothering you.

Something I will add is that.. I am not saying people need to take his teachings word for word, like Christians would tend to do, but moreso the spirit of it which always boils down to more love. I don't follow everything word for word but still reached here. If you saw how I dressed or was like day to day, "being Jesus" would prob be the last thing on your mind... the stuff in pop culture is really outdated from the past. And as well, this mind had to evolve with "time". I enjoy things like playing loud metal/punk music while driving.. that's prob not something people generally would associate with him.. yet here I am.
