Somewhere in the last interview he linked to in his blog. Long video tho, so don't remember where. And also I know he doesn't say you should quit meditation. Only that most people shouldn't expect big result just from that. Agree. I was just wondering if he would be an example of someone that was born with some extra advantage for spiritual work. Just like a super tall homeless guy would still have been born with that "tall gene" that would make it much easier to succeed in basketball. Only if he fixed all his other problems. -
This might be a good video for your blog Leo. When you say most people would be better off doing psychadelics instead of expecting to get anywhere with 1 hour meditation every day, would this guy be one of the exceptions to that? Seems like he got more potential than most people. Being homeless might not be optimal tho, but he say he is happy.

You have good advice for young people, but could you make a video for 30-40 year + people who are stuck in a dead end job and have already wasted a lot of their lives?

@DivineSoda Is it even possible to find a conscious business coach? Everything always boils down to the same old "give me your money" message. Just look at youtube. Almost every video ends in a several minutes long "click my affiliate links", "give me your money on Patreon", "use my bonus code", "subscribe, share, like", and on and on. So if you are learning from people who use this kind of strategies that is what you are going to learn. I wouldnt feel good about my self doing that, but then again I dont know a better alternative.

He has a lot of recommended books on his booklist. I think regular books are better tho. Its soo easy to loose focus when you are only listening.

Not sure I understood what you mean. Do you have to ask your self questions or think while watching the hand? Is it just a waste of time if you sit watching the hand and think of nothing special? ... should be possible to do a lot of that at the office

We have a thread about the location of Actualized followers, but I couldn't find a thread about age. Just curious about how old the other members here are. <- 34

Hi Leo, It would be really helpful if you could do a video on the actual physical stuff that is "OK" to do when meditating. Every book, teacher and guru always slides away from this question. "Just sit still and do nothing" or "do what you wan't" doesn't really help. Here are some spesific examples, but I'm sure there is more: What if after a while you notice that you have fallen into a slump position and you need to straighten up your back again. Should you do that, or should you just keep sitting in the slump position? What if you have a cold and your nose is dripping? Should you just let that happen? What if you need to sneeze? Do you hold it in or let it happen? What if you need to yawn? Is that OK or should you stop that from happening? What if you get too much spit build up, could you swallow that? What if your head starts to drop down? Do you have to keep it that way for the rest of the session or can you lift it up so you are facing straight forward again? I know this probably seems like noob questions, but I'm sure there are others that wan't to know this spesifics as well. And if no one can actually answer this questions in a serious way that mean that they arent just noob questions after all. I have been doing this every day for a few years now, but still haven't found anyone that are willing to talk about the small spesific physical details of meditation. I just keep doing this habbit and it feels like it has no benefit even tho I have done it for years every single day. Not sure if I'm doing it right.

@Huginn Ok so you actually live in the same country as me then. Whats the odds for that? hehe. I think you can talk to your local doctor. He will probably put in the tests that he thinks are relevant, but as long as you actually have some problem you will probably get more tests than I got. I just wanted a blood test to see some "stats" about my health, but since I didnt have any pains or problems with anything he only wanted to give me a basic test. But remember to call them in a few weeks when the results have come in so that you can tell them to send it to you. If none of the values are outside their normal-ranges you won't hear anything from them. As long as you have the results you can at least use the web to figure out what the different numbers mean and make your own decition if you think the values need to be fixed or not.

Maybe you could start with a standard blood test at your local doctor office? Not sure how it works where you live, but when I did it i had to call them after a few weeks to get them to send me the results because when a person is in general good health and none of the values are outside the "normal" parameters you don't hear anything from them. Sadly the medical industry is focused on fire extinguishing and not prevention. When you get the result you will most likely not understand what the numbers mean, but just search the web and see what ranges you shoul be in and compare to what your test say. Another thing I want to test for my self is pH value. I think that is an important test. For a general good diet you want to at least avoid meat as much as possible. You also want to avoid processed foods as much as you can.

Leo has several books on psychedelics on his book review list. If you wan't to spend the money it might be worth checking out. -

Many of them are probably not enlightened, but dogmatic about their own beliefs and opinions. Or they have some other agenda, like making money of the spirituality niche But for the ones that are enlightened and behave like shit... I think it's because they are highly developed in the "waking up" but poorly developed on the "growing up". You might want to read the Spiral Dynamics book, or watch Leo's video about it... or both -
