  1. I would suggest investing in The Venus Project
  2. I think only people who have an understanding of what @DrMatthewsausage is going through should really comment, so we avoid comments like charlie's. Obviously from an objective standpoint there's not much to "do" here (just make a daily meal plan with however many calories you should ideally be consuming and follow it) but this is a deeper psychological issue and more akin to a mental illness, which should not be made light of. Telling someone to "just do it" is really not much help.
  3. Making a new thread as the other location thread is just a giant mess of posted locations now and not sure how actively people are checking it. Check out this demo! http://timezone.io/team/buffer. Much easier to navigate than a forum post. Everyone join and post their locations! http://timezone.io/join/6f8adbfb503292e2
  4. The actualized.org team page is looking a bit empty.. let's fill it up some more! http://timezone.io/team/actualizedorg
  5. Not trying to be brash, but those reasons seems kind of.. empty. At least to me. Dealing with "culture shock" or "getting back into the swing of things" are pretty vague and don't seem like good enough reasons to base a major life decision around.
  6. Get as far away from MLM as you can.
  7. First feedback: paragraphs please, nobody wants to read a huge block of text.
  8. I love South Korea! Can't wait to return. At the end of the day this is a choice that you're going to have to make yourself as most of us can't really know what your exact situation and feelings are, but my first thought is: why exactly would it be harder to return home? I travel a ton, and you said you get 14 weeks of vacation. Why not use that time of the year to go back?
  9. funny man you are!
  10. I work from home
  11. Not right now. I do have a morning workout routine: reddit.com/r/bodyweightfitness/wiki/kb/recommended_routine
  12. You just have to honestly answer the question whether being in a relationship you don't want to be in is worth the visa or not, and make plans from there.
  13. I suppose it's been between 4 and 8 these past few weeks.
  14. hahah yeah that was my favorite part as well
  15. Nice work! I'll message you when I start producing my own tracks (won't be for awhile, but something I really want to get started on as soon as I'm able). I haven't been meditating for that long (only been a few weeks since I've established it as a daily habit) so we'll see how things progress, but I know what you mean. Motivation is a very fickle thing when we feel lost or when the benefits aren't immediately obvious in our lives. When I'm in these situations, instead of getting stuck and trying to force some result out, I've been starting to take Leo's advice that I just need more life experience. Change up the routine, make new friends, discuss new ideas, visit new places, take up new hobbies, join new meetups and communities.. basically do what you can to put yourself in new creative and inspirational environments- ones that will be conducive towards revitalizing your motivation and passion in place of the opposite.
  16. I've been playing around with Renoise. Do you do a lot of music production? Completely agree. I think I'm getting close! Was able to do 70 minutes yesterday. Getting closer to that ideal 90 minutes. Once I'm there I don't imagine it'll be that much of a stretch to fit it in most days. Looking forward to it.

  18. This is great . Such fickle little things, our egos are...
  19. Does it matter? That time has come and gone This is basically what I'm working on. More focus on creativity and less dawdling around.
  20. another good one: "Nobody is ignorant. They're simply unaware." This quote ties in excellently with enlightenment, which tells us that we are nothing but pure awareness.
  21. yeah this guy has some great content! subscribing
  22. I feel like many of us in this community by nature share these similar entrepreneurship-type goals. Starting a business is difficult work, and I'm starting to think we should start networking a bit to see if there's any overlap in people's ideas or goals, and can maybe start collaborating on something together.
  23. This. Ten minutes really isn't enough to get any real benefits from a meditation practice, but everyone has to start somewhere and build the habit up.
