  1. I'm not sure this is good advice for everyone. Personally I'm still friends and have good relationships with many of my previous partners, I don't really see any need for "cutting them out of your life forever". If things aren't working out then they aren't working out. Just be honest and move on with your lives. No need for all this drama.

  5. People just view it as inconvenient and since the rest of society doesn't care, why should they. It also has far-reaching moral consequences, and switching to a vegan lifestyle basically means accepting that you've contributed to the worst genocide in this planet's history, and it's much easier for people's ego's to just dismiss this and go along with the rest of society. I think it ultimately comes down to this cognitive dissonance.

  7. @David the heaviest weight ever carried by a human being was done by a long-time vegan. there are tons of incredibly in-shape vegan athletes that compete at olympic levels, and some with world records. I think they're getting enough vitamins and cholesterol : )

  13. Establishing a meditation practice will definitely help improve your focus, and as others have said, schedule in your time on a block basis, have something to look forward to after work.

  16. @Phrae's journaling practices seem to mirror my own, where it's mostly just me brainstorming or mind-mapping things out; was never able to keep up the more normal "diary"-like journaling.
  17. 25 years old, living in NYC at the moment. working side jobs while bootstrapping my startup, as well as working on my career in general. Looking forward to having enough financial independence to return to Asia and do some more travelling, with an aim towards the shikoku pilgrimage in Japan.
