  1. Maybe research heavy metal toxicity. Mercury seems to be a big one/the main one. Book = Andy Cutler's Mercury Detox Protocol. In the book he also gives a high-thiol and low-thiol food list so you can do a 4 or so day elimination diet to see how you react to low thiols and high thiols (a type of sulfur; also apparently lists for low-sulfur diets found on the internet, according to the author, aren't sufficient since they don't distinguish between high or low thiol foods, only sulfur foods). I just did this and had my first day back on high thiols yesterday and felt pretty shitty (the biggest thing I noticed was this big brain fog/pressure thing which makes it hard to concentrate and is sort of disorienting, along with some mild sickly feelings and perhaps depressive like feelings as well). I think I also felt a bit lighter and less foggy and groggy on the days on low-thiol foods (nothing too major though, but if you think about how it can add up over time, I see some benefit to switching diets). Apparently tons of random symptoms can be caused by heavy metal toxicity, stemming from dental amalgams, ingesting mercury through food, vaccines, etc. I've definitely had a problem I'd describe as what you wrote.
  2. Yup. Though, for some reason I do feel some trepidation about it. Perhaps since it's a new vaccine with little research and I dunno if it's all roses n sunshine. I suppose the social factor is a reason why I'm doing it. To get it over with and just do it. Even though other parts of me perhaps don't feel so secure doing it.
  3. I've noticed for me, that I can watch his videos and not contemplate the stuff for myself (including ingesting other resources and bouncing ideas off each other) which I think generally leads to more ideological thinking. Or I can do the effort and contemplate and question stuff and use things he says for inspiration and inspiring new avenues to inquire for myself, thereby forging my own path by using his stuff (and others) as fuel. I suppose maybe I've noticed it depends on how you interact with and use his content. And I'm also not saying don't stop watching his stuff. There was a period, which is still somewhat going on, where I felt that watching his stuff wasn't healthy for me since I'd been doing so for a while and I felt like continuing to watch his stuff kept me in those same patterns. So to experience newness and grow out from those patterns, I had to stop wathcing his stuff and explore new avenues. Do what you feel is right.
  4. It sounds like you're saying the lesson you learned was to push harder (or something like that). Is that true? If so, could there be a different lesson as well? Like, instead of pushing harder, maybe having a completely different strategy altogether. Like maybe doing even smaller projects and experiments to develop your life purpose or something else, instead of just toggling with the effort you put into the same strategy.
  5. Nice. Yo ego is so fat, you needed ocean-entry instead of stream-entry.
  6. When I hear ''city-states'' I hear Blue. When I hear ''Barbarian tribes'' I hear mostly Red (maybe some Purple in there too). Also, remember there will be a mix of stages within each culture, group, and even individual.
  7. K, so here's some comebacks and disses I thought of in the shower (I may have been microdosing). Imagine one of those shows where people diss each other. "Yo jokes is so hollow, they ain't even got a subtle body!" "Ya? Well, by the time I'm done wit chu, you ain't gonna wish you ever even had a self!" "Oh ya? Well, by the time I'm done wit chu!, Ima send you back to the first chakra MF!" "Ya? Well at least I ain't already there!" "Man... you so ignorant, you think truth and untruth are real distinctions!" "Man, don't talk to me about truth and untruth, you haven't even reached stream entry!" And come up with some awesome "Yo ego is so fat..." jokes. ex: Yo ego is so fat, they had to add an extra chakra ... but you have to add a GIF or meme like this afterwards...
  8. Sorry to hear. Hugs n love your way.
  9. I'm guessing in some places ya. But most of the stuff I've seen of him online is him coming from a more theoretical and meta standpoint, so not much technical or practical stuff. But you don't need him really. Like, I'm not saying he doesn't have value, but I'm saying that, say, if you wanted to grow along a certain line of development, just research the types of skills and techniques and practices/teachings, etc., in that line which are usually considered things to help you grow. Like if I wanted to grow in my moral line of development, I might start reading and contemplating different philosophers (preferably higher in the spiral than I am at) who talk about this stuff. Maybe do some examination of my ethical beliefs and where they come from. Or maybe if i wanted to improve my emotional line, just look at basically the whole therapeutic industry and a huge portion of the self-help industry for techniques and the like. For example, the Sedona Method. Though, I'm not sure if Spiral Dynamics is a distinct line of development on its own since I heard it tracts values. So, it might be different than other lines, like sexual, interpersonal, moral, kinesthetic, cognitive, etc.. @Leo Gura or others, can we get input here? So, I'm guessing that it's distinct from other lines of development, but I also imagine that one's SD center of gravity will probably be, in general, the area where your other lines are as well. But not necessarily. I honestly haven't studied this stuff enough to know.
  10. Ya, I'd probably agree with Leo here in finding a job that is less taxing. Like for me, I found a job that pays well so I can work 3 shifts a week. I'm making enough money to get buy (not saving a lot) so I can concentrate my spare time on personal development and healing stuff. I also feel like all my spare time isn't just spent on recuperating from work, as is usually the case with a full-time schedule for me. If you can make that happen, this might be a wise decision (unless you're saving up for a strategic purchase which you could see as providing even more energy and free time further down the road). But if you're really keen on doing the full-time job you have at the moment while working on your life purpose, it sounds like grinding it out is the main way I see. Which is where boosting your energy and health would come in. So supplements, exercise, discipline, and a strict and healthy recovery and relaxation schedule. I'd just try to get a healthy balance that's sustainable. I wouldn't suggest pushing things and grinding for too long if you can avoid it. I tried that and it backfired on me. Keep things enjoyable or usually people get fed up. Have time to enjoy life, find a job that's decent and not draining, have a healthy lifestyle, and do your life purpose stuff too. Maybe just find a healthy balance instead of trying to push and force too much in a hectic and neurotic fashion. Like do personal development, work on your life purpose, but also enjoy doing those things. Balance. Again, I don't know your situation so it's hard for me to say (even if I did know your situation I wouldn't know the best thing for you) You gotta figure that out for yourself, ultimately. I hope it works out.
  11. I don't know where you're at, but for me I've found that I was dealing with too much emotional and psychological baggage to focus on life purpose, trauma work, and survival all at the same time. I'm working on fixing my emotional and interpersonal life at the moment to get to a point where life feels easy enough working a regular job such that I can then spend time on my life purpose. Of course, I'm not saying I won't work on my lfie purpose, or that these strategies need to be a clear cut and dry decision. I'll concentrate on one aspect, but also feel things out as I go along. So if I feel like doing some life purpose stuff, I can do that for a little bit (maybe a little contemplation in the afternoon, or maybe even explore some new activity or project), but then I'll always be looking and feeling inward to see what is the best place to put my efforts. I think that's also a key as well: having a plan while also feeling things out as you go along and being adaptable. Moment to moment, day to day, etc.
  12. I have a feeling no. I really don't know though. I think one part of why I say this is because Wilber and others talk about how people can develop spiritually but not in other lines of development. Like you can have super woke Zen masters but who are still Stage Blue morally or something.
  13. I've also heard this guy, perhaps several, who've tried committing suicide but failed said that, when they jumped, they immediately regretted it. Also, I know you said you were done with practical advice, but have you looked into or tried any heavy metal detox stuff? I've heard people can really suffer, even emotionally, from heavy metal poisoning, and maybe with just that "simple" fix, it might alleviate lots of suffering that you've been battling using purely psychological methods. When maybe, it was simply the wrong approach to the issue. I hope you feel better and well. Maybe here's some reasons to stay. We love you.
  14. Cheers. I've been really getting into IFS and parts work recently and have found it really helpful as well an accurate description of my experience as a person. Definitely lots of stuff there, even immediate releases of emotions when communicating with a part directly and understanding it that have in the past been super hard to deal with using only mindfulness or feeling them more and allowing them. I've actually been combining Byron Katie's "The Work" technique with parts work and found this to be really beneficial. Like, if I encounter a part that has a particular belief, I can ask it Byron Katie's questions and do some stuff that feels it being a release and healing sometimes. Even if subtly.
  15. Has anyone read 'Shadow Dance' from Leo's list? Opinions? What kind of stuff was in it? Was it more theoretical or did it have a bunch of practical exercises (or in between these two)?
  16. mmm, ya. Sometimes Silence is the best teacher and guide.
  17. I'm in favor of UBI... But I'm wondering, what do you think are downsides of UBI or even examples where it didn't or wouldn't work? Attempting to strongman the other argument to see how others think about it. Gain more perspective. Like, if you were against UBI, how would you argue against it?
  18. I've had, and still have to some degree, similar issues in "knowing" what vision is the best. A few things I've come to. I may never "know" definitively which vision is the "right" one. I think the best way to gauge this is how much emotion and heart you feel towards it. I've cycle through various visions over the years, but I notice that one in particular, no matter how long I go without visioning about it, seems to still produce some sort of solid heart feeling in it. Though, it's not necessarily too much excitement, it's more of a more grounded feeling of "ok, this feels kinda like something my body and heart is into as well, not just my mind and excitement". If that makes any sense. I agree here with Leo in that experimenting in the actual world is a great way to get feedback on what vision is best and also how best to modify your vision. Example: you may be visioning that you really want to travel. Ok, Great!... but there's so many places!... So you go traveling and find out that you really vibe with more colder and mountainous climates, and you've gone to some tropical places so you can have a reference that you can base that off of. There you go, now you can use that experience (and intuition and heart) to really get a feel for what vision is right for you. Experiment and play with your vision. recently, I've been visioning about a pretty specific scenario repetitively, and am now starting to feel that, since I've got this implanted in my mind decently, I now feel a bit bored with it and feel that I want to modify or "play" with it. change it up. Add things to it. See what I can do to really make it perfect. I imagine this is an ongoing process. Also, adding the types of feelings you want to feel I've found to be pretty great. And, sometimes, if I actually feel that feeling, or feel the love in my heart, I'll simply focus on that feeling and then images will come out of that without my consciously creating them. Like using emotions as the trigger to elicit images which you can incorporate and use. Finally, remember that there might not be a "right" vision. Maybe the more important thing is to simply vision and do what gives you the most excitement, motivation, and passion to do. Get amped! Even if you don't feel the passion when you actually do the thing, that's great too since at least you learned something. Hope it helps. I'm imagining vegan baked goods at the moment and am drooling slightly
  19. @The0Self Could be. I'm doubting though that any stress or issues you mention cause significant issues when chelating. Like, it seems from what I've heard (a little amount, I'm definitely no expert) that having titanium can cause issues, but that they are mild to such a degree that it's safe to chelate with them. On the other hand, I've heard mercury and amalgams can cause significant issues and really mess with your system. So ya, I don't doubt titanium can cause issues, but I dunno, from the little I've seen, it seems like the concensus is negligible. But, I dunno, maybe some people are different as well or I'm getting poor source materials and not enough research.
  20. Sounds tough and like you're feeling kinda trapped in depression and negative feelings. I can relate, at least to dealing with strong negative feelings. One thing recently that I have found invaluable, and I think will be a practice and framework I'll use throughout my life, is IFS (Internal Family Systems therapy). I highly recommend it. I also highly recommend doing it with an IFS trained therapist. I've found that, though I can do it alone, there's something about having another person be with you, even via zoom or something, that makes the process easier. Like they hold space for you so you can more easily access the inner parts of yourself. The basic IFS framework is all about how each person has many subpersonalities within themselves, and that some are harmed and hurt and have different needs. So you learn to work with and communicate with each part via your mind, imagination, and emotions. I got trained in a level 1 reiki course and honestly, I think it's saved me from sooo much pain upon immediately doing it. Like, if i'm in a crunch and there was massive amounts of emotional suffering, I just "turned on the reiki" and felt immediately better. Moving the body and spine also. Spinal rotations = lifesaver, trigger parasympathetic nervous system. Very relaxing for me. Head rotations. And just keeping the body fit and loose has made a big difference. Though, I'm aware that it's not always easy to keep the body decently healthy, so I do a minmum of 10 pushups a day so that I'll still get the psychological satisfaction of feeling like I'm accomplishing something and I can do it even on my worst days. Hope this helps. Don't hesitate to reach out if you want. www.thestoa.ca = a place with many free zooms, and many to do with interactive psycho-technology type stuff and shadow, even breathwork. Enjoy.
  21. mmmm ... I feel this. Thanks for the reminder. I can also understand @BlackMaze's position as well. I've definitely had times of deep despair and frustration and felt like, if only I had money or x,y, and z, then things would be great. Funnily enough, I had some of my most positive feelings I've ever had (or remember having) in the exact same position (externally that is). So ya, I think for me at least, being able to enjoy the ride is becoming more and more of a "slap my forehead of course!" these days. Sort of asking more questions like "What would I most like to do today?" or "What's most meaningful to me?" I think has helped me pivot to enjoying life more, even while working towards other goals like finances, etc. Also, interestingly enough, I think that the more one can relax and enjoy life, no matter what, the more one will be open to knowing what the best things to do are for material successes and happiness in the future. It sort of builds on itself. Figuring out the joy part is also more sustainable I think, no matter what task you're doing.
  22. @Heaven I just checked out the ANdy Cutler facebook page and read some comments. It seems like they think it's ok to have plates and screws, whether in your body or mouth, and chelate if they are made of titanium (which I think they usually are). One of the admins also says that an exception would be if the plates/screws contain 8% or more nickel in them and that you are allergic to nickel. I dunno if she means you have to have both for there to be an issue, or if you can have one and not the other and there still is an issue.
  23. I don't think I have metal fillings (I dunno though), but I definitely have a screw in my front tooth that got chipped in middle-school. I'm wondering if that could count as something that would need to get removed if I do the detox.
