  1. @Whywolf You are quite talented I especially love the skulls
  2. @ShinI found that the exercises from Leo's video on How to be funny helped me, it could be that you subconsciously feel like you'll be judged for saying something stupid (or at least that was what happened in my case). This exercise will probably help you in particular: Sit in a quiet place and think of something. Then use the last word to form a new sentence, this will release mental filters over time. Good luck man you got this!
  3. @LaisaYour drawings are amazing, I love how detailed they are! I currently don't have a website but I think I need to make one, theres a few hundred pictures sitting on my hard drive haha These are some of my waterfall pictures, there's something about them that puts me in zen
  4. I was actually going to link you that video haha, to be honest I went through a similar situation as you did and never thought I was going to be able to get over it. Most important thing to realize is that whenever you feel that pain apply that love to yourself as if a little kid came running up to you after being bullied. In my experience I realized that the pain came from regret and there were some underlying feelings of being unlovable. Although you already said it you just need to see it as a lesson and embrace those feelings, everything is impermanent anyway Also who knows, maybe you'll find someone that you can't even imagine being with, gotta keep those infinite possibilities open
  5. Yeah it definitely just sounds like you over exhausted yourself Yeah I can definitely relate with that, I've had that feeling a few times and I've never been able to fully surrender to it. I've heard that focusing on the heart area when it happens helps with the fear, it seems to work in my experience
  6. @Vercingetorix Yeah I've had that happen before, when I first started SDS my body went numb after about 45 minutes and I would feel really sore and tired and end up laying on the ground for a while. How long have you been doing SDS and are you used to doing sits for over 1 hour? It could be that your body isn't ready for the extended sits or it just sounds like you just ran out of energy @LoreenaStrong Determination Sitting
  7. Here's some old pictures I've taken while experimenting with night photography, can't wait til the weather gets nicer to try some star trails
  8. @Martin123Yeah definitely, I think as a species we are finally realizing that there's something much bigger than ourselves at work here and science is slowly starting to prove that
  9. @Martin123Yeah I believe that there are going to be some massive shifts going on soon, seems like there's a lot of people waking up lately and I think its about to speed up even more. Should be interesting to see how this plays out, I talked to a healer recently and he told me that the planet is close to ascension. Still kind of crazy considering if you told me this a year ago I'd call bullshit but based off of my experiences there seems to be something big coming.
  10. @Echoes Yeah that all sounds like typical awakening experiences, keep it up you are on the right path
  11. @Echoes Have you had any other experiences or shifts recently? When I was going through my awakening process there were quite a few uncomfortable sensations I went through, it took a few weeks before it went back to "normal". Try asking about it during meditation, it could just be trying to get your attention.
  12. @AstralProjection Check out Bj Miller, he's doing work on helping people die. He has a project called the Zen hospice project which is an alternative to dying in a hospital, and focuses on celebrating life and helping people transition through death peacefully. I believe he is also doing work with using psychedelics for his patients, last I checked they were in the process of making them legal for use in medical care.
  13. Awesome, same for me! Hiking out in nature really helped me with my depression and ended up falling in love with photographing landscapes, although I've lost my inspiration to do it lately
  14. Haha you might be overthinking the similarities but who knows, maybe there is some connection in there the universe is trying to get you to see There have been a few times where I've pondered a question and then randomly pick up a book and the answer would be right on the page I'm looking at
  15. @Peace and Love Yes I've been seeing these numbers a lot lately too, from personal experience I think it has to do with what you are focusing on. For me I've been pretty miserable at my job so I'm looking around for something else while I'm figuring out my life purpose and repeating numbers seem to pop up whenever I think about just quitting. I also seem to wake up in the middle of the night a lot and when I look over at the clock it usually says 3:33, not sure if that means anything but it gets pretty weird when it happens over and over again haha
  16. @ArmanI recently came to this realization myself, if you aren't content now chances are you'll never be. Accept whatever life gives you, its there for a reason and there's always lessons to be learned
  17. You created this reality and you are apart of everything that is. During mediation ask for guidance, your higher self will help you through this process. It's a difficult process dropping the ego but once you see it for what it is you'll be glad you did. Embrace everything that comes up with love and nothing can touch you
  18. The ego is a false illusion that you have identified with, its only function is to help you navigate through this physical reality. This is difficult to accept at first because this means you've been living a lie your entire life up until this point. Don't try to chase this state as you'll never reach it, your only function in this reality is to just be and enjoy whatever life has to offer you. The paradox is that Nothingness = Everything. Again. your mind is not going to grasp this so just practice mindfulness and be aware of the sensations going through your awareness and try to pinpoint where they are coming from. You are going to be confused for a while but that's part of the journey, this is a just game you created for yourself since you had nothing better to do. It may feel like you are dying at times but this is a process of rebirth This is one of my favorite quotes that I hope will help you "What the caterpillar calls the end, the rest of the world calls a butterfly." -Lao Tzu
  19. @Christian Yeah it was very difficult for me to get through it at times but don't be afraid to ask your higher self for help, it is always there to guide you. It took me a long time to realize this but the reason why you couldn't get angry at people is because there might be a childhood vow that you should always be nice or something along those lines. The world is never against you, that is just your ego playing tricks on you. What I've come to realize is that everything happens for a reason. one day maybe you'll see this as the greatest thing that happened to you as it did for me. Remember you are always loved by your higher self no matter how much the ego wants to play the victim role
  20. Sounds a lot like my backstory, personally I found it to be a strength though once I was able to work through those negative emotions because I was able to have a lot more compassion for others and built better connections with people. The anger will eventually fall away at some point because it will no longer serve you, especially if you are going to pursue enlightenment. If you are getting results with the negative motivation I'd say keep at it, but if you want to get long term results learn to trust in the intuition as that will being you where you need to be.
  21. @Santhiphap Yeah it can get pretty scary, it took me a while to get used to it but I can say I'm glad I went through the process. @Natasha posted a really good guide for you to use, I wish I had that when I had my first awakening because it would of saved me from having an existential crisis haha. Just keep in mind that love will always prevail over fear. Good luck on your journey back to remembering your true self
  22. @Santhiphap Yes it sounds like you had a glimpse of nothingness. It's not an experience but rather what everything arises out of, your mind is not going to be able to grasp this. Keep going with it, ask yourself who is aware of the sensations
  23. @BeginnerActualizer It goes much deeper than that, wait until you realize what a memory actually is
