  1. Just watched Leo's latest video and it inspired me to take another road trip! Took one a few months ago and gained so many valuable insights that have helped me grown exponentially in such a short amount of time. Although next time I'll be focusing more on self-inquiry and meditation These are a few pictures from the trip.
  2. Great interview with Dennis Mckenna on psychedelics, lots of great information such as 5 Meo, pineal gland, micro dosing and a little rant against Trump as well as tons of other subjects covered. Figured some of you guys would enjoy this if you haven't seen it yet
  3. Sounds like you are pretty close to a breakthrough. Also you aren't failing, you're just not accepting the negative stuff. Whatever you resist persists.
  4. @Dodoster I remember asking this question a lot before I had my first awakening and then I finally had one and it was like "Oh this is why religions exist!" Then afterwards I'd "lose" it and try to rationalize it as me just being delusional. Wasn't until later when I met my teacher that she told me that the mind cannot understand its true nature, and then something clicked and had another awakening soon after. This morning while driving I became aware of it again, I lost sense of my "self" and became everything in my surroundings. Been pretty lazy with my practice lately but that sparked my drive for truth again
  5. "We cannot change anything until we accept it. Condemnation does not liberate, it oppresses." -Carl Jung
  6. @Shin Yeah it is but that's also when the city folks come in and trash the place
  7. Since I live in the middle of nowhere I try to get outdoors for my meditations, these are a few of my favorite spots
  8. Love it, such a beautiful poem too <3 That really resonates with me though, I've made a commitment to choose love over fear, even in the face of death. Thank you for the quote, I'm going to add it to my collection
  9. I'm sorry for the loss of your friend, that is beautiful though. Btw love your skull drawings, I've always been fascinated by them as reminders of death.
  10. @Callum A https://www.amazon.com/Destiny-Souls-Studies-Between-Lives/dp/1567184995/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1491075019&sr=8-1&keywords=destiny+of+souls https://www.amazon.com/Journey-Souls-Studies-Between-Lives/dp/1567184855/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1491075907&sr=8-1&keywords=journey+of+souls These were written by a hypnotherapist who was able to bring back patient's memories of what life was like in the spirit world before they came into physical bodies. Also goes into things like ghosts, spiritual guides, reincarnation etc. Normally I'd be pretty skeptical about it but he has 30 years of research done on it and the information he has received has been very consistent. Plus most of it just makes sense from an absolute point of view, we are just souls playing roles
  11. @Ry4n They still feel those emotions but there is no resistance, they embrace them fully. The reason most people see those emotions as painful is because they to avoid it.
  12. @ChimpBrain Awesome, let me know what you think about it when you finish it. A lot of it resonated with me on a deep level
  13. @Nahm This was a book that I read recently that blew my mind, not saying its 100% true but it gave me a satisfactory answer towards past life memories, ghosts, spirit guides etc. If you are open minded I'd definitely recommend check it out https://www.amazon.com/Journey-Souls-Studies-Between-Lives/dp/1567184855/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1491006189&sr=8-1&keywords=journey+of+souls
  14. @LoreenaYeah its pretty interesting, definitely helped me understand why people act the way they do. It's quite fascinating how deceptive our minds can be if we aren't being aware of it.
  15. @Loreena Leo made a video on it a while back as well

  17. Welcome to stage Yellow
  18. Yeah that's a tough situation, if anything I'd try to get out of seeing this guy again and find someone else imo. It sounds like hes making you feel worse and even more confused then you need to be right now. I would take a deep breath and meditate on the situation, trust in what your heart is trying to tell you what to do. Just relax and have faith, no need to stress yourself out over it, I've been through situations like that and worrying about how it was going to turn out always made it worse. Good luck my friend, feel free to message me if you need someone to talk to.
  19. Some more pics, these are from my visit to NYC
  20. @LRyanMan I'm sorry you had to go through that, makes me feel lucky that I was able to find open minded therapists that actually practiced spirituality. If he can't be open to your decision to branch out into other practices it sounds like hes not a good fit for you or anyone for that matter, especially if he is going to lose his cool like that. I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss the possibility of not finding another therapist. When I first found mine it was by chance when I was sent to the hospital for a panic attack, they showed me a list of therapists and I happened to pick one that spent time in India studying under an enlightened master which I found out later. If you ask the universe for a sign maybe something similar will happen for you, I don't think it was an accident that it happened for me especially since there's not many people into spirituality where I am. Also might be a little crazy but maybe you were put into your therapists path to show him that hes not the big shot that he thinks he is, who knows Whatever happens I wish you the best on your journey, you got this man
  21. @Revolutionary Think Not really sure, I found out about the guy a while ago through a Tim Ferriss podcast and he mentioned that he spends most of the his time in empty space so he doesn't use social media and rarely does interviews. You could try sending him a message through the site at the bottom where it says "Talk to us" and hopefully you can connect with him somehow.
  22. @Revolutionary ThinkI think you would be interested in Josh Waitzkin if you haven't heard of him, hes doing work on education reform. http://theartoflearningproject.org/
  23. @Kat Ellegra Look up digital nomads, there are communities out there that are helping people run location independent lifestyles. There are a lot of different options but the most popular ones things such as web development, online coaching, Amazon FBA, etc. It's definitely not an easy route to go down but if you are willing to put in the hard work and build up followers and clients it can pay off big time.
  24. @Revolutionary Think From a young age I found self-actualization as well, I was always an outcast and a deep thinker who never really fit in anywhere. Although it did take me a long time to realize what self-actualization actually was, I did notice that most people around me were completely miserable with their lives and I couldn't see myself working for the rest of my life in a mindless boring job like everyone else. Like Leo said, I think some people are just born with the ability to see through the illusion of society/ego at a young age. For a long time I thought I was just crazy and felt like I was the only one who felt this way but once I found Leo he helped me connect the dots together. I do see a lot of changes going on now though, and a lot more people are waking up from what I've been seeing. It's great that we have communities like these around now to help spread the ideas, I think the future looks promising
