@Adam M Great input. I think from this I am convinced the kneeling posture is better and is worth trying, I am also not interested in the particualar prouduct (costs as an additonal $75 to ship to Australia). I will try to find a product locally which is similar / cheaper. Thanks

Hi @Gabriel Antonio It's just not merely sitting on the floor in lotus or full lotus, but sitting this way during meditation could make the quality of focus better compared to a chair where you may be more relaxed and not as alert.

Thanks @pluto Did you find this posture better for both your knees and your quality of meditation?

@Joseph Maynor I hope this article answers your question. Are you on Level 10 ? -
@WaterfallMachine I am inspired to know you are at level 7 ! And am I correct in understanding you are 16 years old ? WOW ! I see lot of youngsters on actualized and think the internet and channels like these are making more young prodigies than ever in history ! Good luck and let us know if you every hit level 8 or 9.

Reading some of the forums, I thought there is no shame in getting some input on a personal dilemma. We desperately need to upgrade our current house (this is non-negotiable as it's small and we are expecting a baby and parents to help soon ). I am stuck in my current job and desperately want to explore my life purpose/business ideas which I am yet to gain further clarity on. Time is ticking and my clarity hasn't improved much over the last 3 months if I work full-time. I have enough savings made over the last 5 years which can help put a deposit and buy a badly required new house. This will also yield a growth of 10% every year, But then I won't have the option of quitting my job as there will be no savings left to pay the mortgage. Should l quit my job and explore my life purpose / possible business ideas by dipping into my savings OR should I buy a new house and hang to the job and progress very slowly?

ADMINS : Please don't lock, not trying to source Is there is a hierarchy of psychedelics one should experiment with before trying DMT? Perhaps the lower level ones are easy to find or easy to make at home, with lesser effect and then we slowly graduate from compound to compound and reach the DMT or LSD-level (whichever is the ultimate compound for insights/enlightenment)

Thanks, @Max_V and @Nahm I have once gone to level 4 and it was very special. Leo Gura, gives the metaphor of finding a "gold nugget" when we start meditation and says eventually we will find a "gold mine". On that particular day, I reached the 4th level, I could see what he meant and wondered where he and others are on this scale are? If anyone been to level 8, how much practice did you put in? I ask about time as I suspect unless we go for more than 60 minutes a day we may not progress beyond level 4 which helps me to be reals.

Howdy all, Edit: I am an intermediate meditator with 1.5 years of continuous practice. Because of time constraints, looking for input on optimal length. I am with Leo that we should meditate EVERYDAY. But I don't recollect him being specific about how long? If the goal is to achieve high levels of peace, clarity; assist in the heroes journey, and to progress to enlightenment eventually while initially balancing work what is the optimal time. From my experience, something happens to me after the 40-minute mark like changing gears. But that requires 1-hour sessions which are too long. I tried to break them into 2 X 20-minute sessions in morning and evening plus 5 mins focus practice. Your input/experience on ideal time length would be appreciated.

The @krazzer and @Jani Edited my post as I want to clarify I am not a beginner. I can now meditate for an hour or even longer which I haven't tried yet. I am trying to see if there is an optimal sweet-spot when it comes to length. I'd be nice to know from any advance meditators on the lengths they go for and any benefits due to longer sessions (1). Also any benefit of breaking into morning and evening sessions? (2)

Hi, all. This has been bothering me for 6 months now and would appreciate your input. I am unable to determine what my "ideal MEDIUM" is and it's really causing a drag, wasting my time and efforts. After some soul searching, I thought it may be doing business using technology and sometimes I think it may be public speaking. I am also unsure if there are THE perfect Mediums for me which I have not thought of. Is there a list of all possible mediums. Did anyone else have an issue with it and how did you figure it out finally? @Leo Gura this is preventing from completing the Life purpose course (which I think is an excellent course by the way). Do you have a trick, idea or process for me to figure this out? Thanks all in advance. --Shan.

YES ! Decision making is something we struggle with a lot of times.

@Marc Schinkel I agree we could learn a better way. For me, I write a lot in my journal but hardly get time to read back. I sometimes have too much content and too much life wisdom written down but I can't read them again as I only have so much time. I also tried excel sheets to track and currently trying an introspection method to examine and Journal within the mind so there is no paperwork.

Hello Forum, Leo has suggested in one of the videos to know the psychedelics well, their type, quality etc. Given time constraints can you suggest one specific drug and perhaps one place where I could to safely try it ? Its very hard to research from scratch and if there is a clear recommendation I can further research from that point. The goal is to use to further enhance my mind, formal new neural connections and to have new insights. I meditate for 40 minutes a day so its surely not for recreation.

Hi, Is there a dedicated forum for Life purpose course. I am currently doing the course and wonder if there is a place to discuss with other students ? To start with I need help on theses specific issues. 2A) I am 35 years old and continuously am bombarded with negative thoughts that I cant dream big and I cant do this journey as I have family responsibilities to attend. Are there anyone who did the course and have been in this situation / over come it ? How do I pull myself out of this specific negative thinking ? Is there anyone in this age ? 2B) I am just starting a business which needs so much of my time. I am very keen to do this course and worried about not working on my business. Is the recommendation to let the business take a hit and focus on this as it could help me open big doors or should I do the course slowly and do it 1 - 2 years ?

I am pleased to say that I have been meditating for 6 months now and have grown from being able to do it from 3 minutes to FOREVER. I do 30 minutes now only because I need to attend to life. I have some questions despite the good results. Want to theoretically drill these into mind which further motivates to practice meditation. Apologies if the videos / forum cover this clearly and I missed it. 1) Is my literal defintion of Meditation correct : 'The practice of observing the sub-conscious mind with the conscious mind' ? If yes, what is the difference between that and the "do nothing" technique taught by Leo ? Perhaps in meditation we consciously choose to kill a thought but in the do nothing technique we don't interfere ? 2) Leo says that if someone practices Meditation for 2 years or so there will be amazing benefits and early stages are just small gold-nuggets. The benefits I think will happen are these : We will be extremely and habitually mindful to a point that we will process every single thought before responding in any way ? This way we control ever action and we consciously choose what thoughts we randomly get should be pursued or discarded leading us to amazing focus. Thank You.
