  1. @dmc3dante Maybe I shoulda merged all these together...don't wanna stress out that server again. :-) Lalor (Melbourne.)

  4. I'm probably a good deal older than the average user here (I'm 38) so, gone are the days when I was amped-up almost 24/7 (phew!) Bearing this in mind, my only advice to you is this: Don't force it - to release when you're all bottled up is a GOOD thing - it's very healthy, in fact. I've been firing 'em off almost daily since 1989 (!) - so it had become routine...my urges had leveled out by my early 20s, so two weeks without was not a stretch at all. I recently stopped for 30 days just to see what it would do...and in my case it gave me a welcome surge in libido (grrrr!) and testosterone - but I'm an older gentleman. Listen to your body, Man - you young blokes probably don't need a break from routine just yet. :-)
  5. Whatever you do, please be gentle with yourself! I'm working on similar issues at the moment. After a long bout of unemployment that followed being fired from a dumb job that I despised (one of many!) I am now establishing a new business - it's not THE business, but it's a bloody start! Aiming low, doubt, unjust guilt and judgment have marred my happiness for decades...has left me unprepared for the discipline of business, and virtually devoid of entrepreneurial vision. The depth of the darkness I experienced is too intense to talk about here...which is absurd, because my life is pretty good over all. Simply start. Shut out the chatter of others. Immerse yourself in your own kindness...it's a hard road, and you'll feel like shit sometimes - but it DOES get better.
  6. Not just yet, at any rate! When I'm good 'n' ready, please - there's TOO MUCH amazing shit left to do on this cheerful little mudball we call Earth. This brings to mind a situation in my life this week: My Dad lives with his current partner about 1500 kms from my city, and he's coming down to stay here next week. We are both veteran motorbike riders, and he had been planning to ride his Triumph, and then we were going to ride our bikes back together...but his partner got all spooked by some recent rider deaths on the roads where they live. So, fearing the worst, she applied emotional pressure on him to take the ute instead...and he acquiesced! I had to give him a ribbing - I said "ya can't go about living in fear, Dad...and besides, you've bloody well been riding since 1971!" And he's like "Yeah...I know, buut..." Hmmm. :-)
