Well written post mate. I have same concerns about psychedelics. They surly have power to change your perception but it seems natural to me that such power must come at some cost. Many people on the internet try to paint psychedelic like a magic pill and it seems to me naive to believe it. Maybe if you are in very "low state" psychedelic can quickly show you your minds delusion but if you are in more clear state it's not worth it to do them. That's just my theory tho. What in your opinion are psychedelics good for? If one is stuck in negative depressive thoughts can psychedelics be good for shifting into positive mindstate for example with microdosing ? How do I recognize if I have true desire for enlightenment ? I had realizations about impermanence of life and that made me want to look for the ultimate answer but I'm not sure if that desire is strong enough. For example if I was in perfect health and wealthy I might not care about it at all and just use life to the fullest. How do I get more clear about what my true desire is ?

That is your belief. Enlightement = you, it's kinda ridiculous to think that it takes brutal effort to be what you already are

Thank you Sounds about right but it's pretty hard to commit to your patch when you have no idea what your path is also there is anger and resentment. I've always been a person that can get good pretty easily but never but never had desire to commit 100% to one thing and master it how do I work around this ?

Peter Ralston says enlightement is not a state. So you're saying he's not awake either ? The problem for me is that any respectable teacher I know of says that enlightement is recognition of one truth exmple Ralston, Ramana Maharshi yet you say that there are levels of it and that it's a state. Also you say that you are not awake at all time but you accessed high levels of consciousness on on occasions, yet truly enlightemened teachers say that enlightement is true at all time. How else could it be, if it wasn't true at all time it wouldn't be the Truth. To me it looks like you are having flashy psychedelic experiences and you're mistaking that for enlightement and you've built many mental structures to deny that fact. Can you share what levels of consciousness have you accessed without use of psychedelics ?

@electroBeam Psychedelics are extremely powerful and it's only common sense to think that this power must come at cost. I think there's alot of people on this forum being naive about that including Leo. Example Martin Ball who seriously fucked himself up with psychedelics abuse. Also Leo who in one minute is all loving God and in another he's acting all weird with amazong guy. Doesn't exactly look like honesty and clarity to me. I just wonder to what extent they are safe and what is potential for harm because there's not much in formation on that. Did you ask these people microdosing ? That's just sound like total bs. Karma is just reaction of your actions, transcending karma doesn't mean your actions don't have impact on your body and mind. You're saying it like after transcending karma you can snort coke daily without repercussions.

But how can you be the teacher if you haven't even attained ? Isn't that ignorance and missinformarion ? For all we know all you do is take DMT in your room. No interviews, no sign of real human interaction. Hundreds of hours of videos explaining enlightement and how deep it is but no attainment, yet there are people who actually attained making few minutes videos emphasising on how simple it is. Have you ever considered possibility that this is all your minds delusion projected on large scale ? Have you ever considered possibility that every time you tell someone that they don't understand this work and how complicated it is, it's because you don't understand how simple it is ?
