@Foreign Mine was 54. There is nothing i can say to make it any better. And there is still more to come. Time does make it easyer but you dont care for this. Nore did i. Harder things will come and all things always have 2 sides. Just the fact that you say you have a ugly character proves that you don't. Think about that. Who is telling who that who has a ugly character. Cant really give you any advice. However eventually you will take your own needs over that of a other. So in a sense you are just delaying and looking for validation. Can however recommend Leo's videos, even do they are probably not going to solve all your problems.

@Svartsaft Don't like meditation, then why are you doing it? Angry, frustrated, things not going the way you want? If so, why?, If one accepts what is, why is one judging what is with such emotions? You either get what i am saying, or your mind will respond with "aarrgg more bullshit" (which is probable), me pointing this out, can you see your mind saying this?

@Schulzy shutting down no. However as they are caused in response to thought they in a sense can become of no value. One might even consider them optional. But you cant and dont want to get rid of them. Love, happienes, joy, etc are also emotions.

@Kimasxi If you dont think, you dont have any emotions. Thoughts come and go and so do the emotions connected to them. How important is this thought to you to have such a emotional reacting to it? Ever watched a scary movie when you where young and didn't sleep the whole night? How is this any different?

@Shan Hi In a sense, for most people, there thoughts and emotional reactions to set thoughts run there life. One could say they are trapped in this way of thinking. When you meditate and become aware of set thoughts and reactions you create space between your "what ever you want to call it" and these thoughts. And thus we gain the ability to observe them and take action upon them or not. Hope that makes sense.

Russia is to big. Its x times bigger then whole Europe. Just look at the different food traditions in Europe. Mixing enlightenment into this subject to make it sound more legit is just silly. Unless we are talking about the "self realized fucking cow" i guess .

Many do but communicating the answer in a successful way is extremely difficult. Unknowing what your political views are, we could say that it is extremely difficult to change them. Its something like that but in a sense simpler and harder at the same time.

Guess the real question is how to stop suffering from negative emotions. First step is the recognize the thoughts that cause these emotions and then go on from there.

@Alex K We are awareness but since birth have been convinced that we are the mind and body. And thus identify with it. We are so used to this identification that even when you have a awakening it doesn't take long before we start infidelity with the body and mind again. You could call it a habit. One that you can break by being awareness a lot so that in a sense observable space is created between the awareness and the mind. (do note that what i am writhing is not completely accurate as this awareness is already there and you dont need to do anything to get it, its just that in a sense, it has been hypnotized by the mind and believes it is the mind.) Breaking or destroying anything thus doesn't make any sense or is required. When you see ego, you have the option to in a sense pay attention to it or not. When you dont see ego and are blinded by it, you in a sense have no free will and are driven by it.

@NTOgen Have you ever had the experience where awareness becomes aware of itself?
