  1. OMG this is one of my favorite topics!!! Time to pretend, by MGMT. Almost any Cat Stevens song. Lazy Eye by The Silversun Pickups Madness, by Muse. Bob Dylan - Like a rolling stone. For me, this one is the most amazing example because I realized he is talking from the perspective of the non physical asking the physical experiencer - How does it feel? Stillness Speaks, Elkhart Tolle has done this at least 3 times for me. Ave Maria - I like Chris Cornell's cover. Sounds of Silence - I like Disturbed's cover. Writing things that I'm learning and discovering on my chalkboard painted wall does this in a way I never would have known. When I see, on the wall, what I learned or thought about yesterday or a few days ago, I realize an extent to which it digested.
  2. To a place of confidence in your practices and resolve in your vision.
  3. It all is what you think it is. The other day, I had to take each of my parents to seperate hospitals, then multiple trips to get food, prescriptions, etc. My day started at 6 am with dad's knee surgery and my day with the parental ended at about 7pm. I then stopped at my buddy's to have a beer with about 6 friends. When I told them what I'd been doing that day, they all acted and treated me like something terrible happened or like someone died. It hit me that I have built up a lot of momentum in how I'm seeing things. I felt revitalized by the day. I was feeling great all day because I'm able to help them, I have the physical means, it feels so good to act out compassion, I had many small opportunities to listen to PD here and there through my earbud while waiting on dr's, pills, etc. I also relished what a gift it is for me to be able to see how in control we are - how everything I was doing with the folks is routed back in their lack of healthy lifestyle and mind. What a gift. Honestly, it how you look at it. The hard part is getting through self honesty to get to a place where you sincerely see that everything is awesome.
  4. Aquifer makes a good pitcher filter. Gets fluoride out which can cost thousands if you went the home filtration system route. (Which is better overall)
  5. @Steph1988 Clean up your mental connotations of meditation. Your initial exposure must have given you the impression it is work or something. It a letting go practice. A me time. Relax and be with the universe time. It is where your answers will come from. The desires you want to focus more into your life will come from thin air in the middle of the day, if you meditate every morning.
  6. A good rule of thumb is to think about what you think. It's a powerful Now thing. Notice when you are trying to think about what people are thinking, it's impossible.
  7. You're adding in the labor thinking and feeling. If it's hard to just sit there then don't just sit there. Make it fun. Make everything fun. Start excercising and mediatating daily if possible. It will keep you calm and focused and you'll get more enjoyment out of everything. Porn diet?
  8. Illusions. Best little nightstand "it's all good, nothing it real" story ever. Stillness Speaks, Echart Tolle is just awesome. I read it every few years and get a whole new depth out of it. But, if you're looking for inspiration and change. Get up at 4am and grab your headphones and jam Man In The Mirror - Michael Jackson. I know how this sounds, but it's a frequency thing. It works.
  9. You said you don't remember it, soooo, you're good. Your loved ones can just wake you up. It's ok now to wake up sleep slappers. Don't eat after 7. Don't drink late. Start excercising and meditating.
  10. College is a smart plan. Also, there's lots of billionaires and millionaires that didn't go to college. Some are happy some are not. Same at all incomes. I can tell you this, and hopefully it's useful....through my thirties I assumed making more money would make me happier. I have been fortunate in that I have made a lot of money, enough to see first hand that it doesn't actually do much for me. PD is a bottomless pit. It's where life long fulfillment and happiness come from. No reason you can't make a bunch of money, but I'd say live in the now first and foremost. You're probably just being brave enought o listen to your inner self or intuition and align with it and get off the path that felt wrong to you. Have fun. Know you find what you look for. Once you know what you're looking for, don't ever stop looking. You find what you look for.
  11. @Old Soul ear drops while he's sleeping.
  12. You're the author. This is the best time ever. You can do anything you want. Find a jolt or wake up catalyst event. Do more thing you enjoy. Let go and get in touch, get connected. Consider your daily rituals. Also, btw, I'm married with three kids and living a typical life. It's wonderful. I'm fulfilled and giving love at all angles. It's awesome. Where is fun? Where is love? Where is passion? Nowhere. It's something you do. Do it. YouTube Shia Labuff for further instruction.
  13. Well, either startup a website, or be flattered. Or both.
  14. @rush If you had negative thoughts patterns about going to work and you quit and start something new, I think you would just be doing the most logical thing. Intuition would kind of be the opposite, where you would not have negative thoughts because you already knew what to do.
  15. It sounds to me like you are far enough down the path to be able to see the mechanical life (most don't), but not far enough that you realize the magnitude of the difference in consciousness. I think you should feel great about where you're at. There are 7 billion people each on there own path. I agree, the majority are in the low zone. I bet you'll start seeing the gap and getting comfy with seeing what lot of people can't see. Anyways, in short, they can't see what you can see. The right thing at the right time, and people do wake up slowly. Like, when you hear "Mars" you imagine the cosmos and an enormous planet, and they heard "Meijers". Be nice to them.
  16. @Echoes We love that though. GTA 5 is very limited compared to our reality but I go in there once in a while. All the fun is in the limitations. I hear ya though, all that time and gravity and what not. We do have superpowers man. Superman's flying isn't a superpower on Kryton, only on earth because nobody else flys. Ours is meditation.
  17. You could make a flying saucer barn in the real world. One dude even made a rocket than went to the moon. It's all real, right? Our definitions of real change.
  18. Best question I've seen so far. You are the difference. Think of a red barn. Now make it blue. Now put some horses around it. Now turn it into a flying saucer with pink bows taped to it. You can do this with ease, because mind is the superposition that is everything but is nothing specific in reality yet. This is The Uncertainty Principle. You can't get info on where even one single electron is if you focus on where it's going, and vica versa. This is because it is you observing you. Reality is everything that has been focus / collapsed into something specific already. It's you.
  19. @Beam I'm so happy reading your words. Good for you man.
  20. @Max Regan Total awesomeness! Realize your manifestation! You have been focusing!
  21. I want mine to be a lion, roughly the size of a matchbox, but with a roar louder than a regular size lion. I tried your meditation excercise, but it left me like, "I know buddy! I hear you loud and clear! Where are you!!"
  22. Of course it will. Any insecurity, you added it. Realize this, and you can just take it off like a shirt that you put on in the first place.
  23. @Old Soul It's because you are the universe. Stop looking at "Trump" and believing he is the universe. Don't believe the illusion bro. All is you. You are literally and figuratively trumping you're own power with illusion.
