  1. Perhaps the biggest perk of realizing you are the universe, is choosing it's nature.
  2. Sometimes, on shrooms, I get a huge wave of "seriously,...what the fuck is ALL this?!"
  3. @Truth "I'm just looking for some tips and maybe a little guidance in this process and maybe how others do self inquiry, how you started, how you progressed, Thanks." If you want simple easy truth, learn biology and physics. If you want to find balance in truth and mysticism (It sounds like this is more what you want) learn quantum mechanics. Meditate every morning to absorb and expand your capacity. It's hard to go wrong with the eight fold path as a foundation. A word of caution - always be cognizant of the difference between thinking, believing, knowing, experiencing and being. Your trancendance of each make for reasonable checkpoints. Emotionally, please enjoy every moment if you choose to bring learning into your path. When the learning culminates in your enlightenment, you will know nothing. So enjoy the journey, don't save anything for the destination.
  4. Nice post. Since you're asking for advice....everything on the path to enlightenment is experience. You're good with either choice. Generally speaking, unless you're about to date Sting, you may be trying to weave sex and enlightenment together and making two simple things one complicated thing. Godspeed. ? ? ? ?
  5. You have no free will to change your environment?
  6. @Kenhol Awesome post. It's a self imposed red herring. You're usage of I, I'm, and my change with each sentence. It's a paradigm structure. The resolve is that the field (which you are) manifests the body (which you are) which manifests the mind (which you are) which manifests the question, which you are no longer.
  7. Have you thought about where you would go in your cars? What would you do with your instruments? What would you do with your computers? ? ? ? ? ? ?
  8. What is bringing on the undesired emotions? Memories, certain people, etc?
  9. @Whywolf I love what you're talking about. I spend as much time as possible in the flow. My practices are music, meditation, and cardio. I think I have a timely offer of balance for you. The flow is opposite to uniqueness. In my experience, it is synonymous with losing yourself. It is the state of having let go.
  10. May I ask you please, what material goods come to mind, that you desire?
  11. I just googled it, just to see. It's the formula for antigravity matter.
  12. @cetus56 If you feel good when you think of happy hour, then yes, exactly like that.
  13. Have you literally, never changed a single circumstance for yourself based on what you want?
  14. It's not your fault.
  15. More of a in hindsight comment but, my relationship, having chose to be with my wife, is now a life surrounded by love. I learned unconditional love from the contrast of relationship love. I learned unconditional love 3 times over from having 3 kids. I learned the difference between loving things, loving people and unconditional love.
  16. We are all born into causation. We can all awaken to the freedom. This is what liberation is. To say you do not have free will, (I get it, everything happens because everything happened, etc) is robbing yourself of all responsibility for your life and every desire. You're not only the physical determination, you are also the Uncertain superposition.
  17. Isn't the purpose of doing an affirmation, to get your thoughts and emotions united in pursuing whatever it is you desire?
  18. The only thing I'm coming up with, is that I am experiencing everything as me, and no one else is (that I'm aware of). My wife however, is under the understanding she also always knows what I'm thinking. A lot of the time, I don't seem to even need to talk, because she always knows what I'm going to say. ?
  19. Try pondering, what am I vs who am I. imo, you're applying thinking to everything. It almost sounds like you are working at a job a lot and applying the 'work' mindset to your practices. I like my practice time to be me time, happy place time, time when I quietly, humbly, connect. I find thinking to be prohibitive to connecting.
  20. That is a damn good question.
