@Zingo not in about twenty years

If you begin inquiring and researching yourself and reality, eventually you'll see that death is a concept, because your being 'alive' is a concept. You and reality are one big causation that you have awareness of. The factor that has the awareness is a personal question, in the sense that you are your own reality. Nothing is actually alive or real in the traditional sense.

@Zingo sounds like maybe you're contemplating your own realness...?

Sounds like maybe you are noticing the big causation. Keep going. -
That's awesome. Attitude wins! Good for you! Panic attacks are the worst. They really elevate and get out of hand quickly ❣️

I had jealousy really bad when I was around 19. I learned that it was because I was scared of losing the awesome feeling that I thought was coming from her. Then I learned how that awesome feeling was actually coming from me! Nowadays, I'm all about the practicing of connection with the higher self and it feels better than anything else. Align with your inner self, or inner voice. Eat the way it says, etc. Loving yourself is the answer, and loving yourself means aligning with health, etc, and a ton of other things. It's the best rabbit hole. If that doesn't work, it's likely because you are a smelly pirate hooker.

@Neo Perhpas you have good mental habits of not accumulating resistant thoughts, making meditation easier? Even more so then, do what Leo said. You stand to get a lot out of it. Post the alien words, maybe someone can translate it for you. Or tell them "stop talking like that, you know I don't speak Spanish!"

It's great that your putting efforts in the right direction. Don't give up and you'll always get where you're going. Spend some why time. Write the word meditation on a piece of paper and then write every why you can think of around it. Hopefully this leads to you wanting it more. An alternative might be not to meditate, spend countless consecutive hours on your 'entertainment distractions' until you're sick of them. If you just can't focus on more of what you want, a sure fire solution is to focus more on what you don't want. If all else fails, put on some Sex Panther, it works 60% of the time, every time. -

Awesome. Mirror's are very unique. Here's an article talking about mirrors and the 4th dimension that references Richard Feynman and Carl Sagan. http://howamirrorworks.tumblr.com/ If you stare into your eyes in the mirror and concentrate on the higher everything you, the person you're staring at starts to seem foreign, like, not you. It's weirdly awesome. Not something to mess with though, breaking a mirror is 7 years bad luck, breaking a condom is 18. -
I realize you're asking about starving, but I fast from time to time, and I would say it is a tool for connection. Sure. Stay classy.

I like the topic man. To me, the emotions are an experience of the infinite. Emotions are guidance. Where we go wrong is in believing people who tell us to do things we don't want to do, emotionally speaking, convincing ourselves that the now is worth trading. Ignored emotions cause some very unfortunate mind and body problems. It is harder to get where we are going when we ignore the guidance. Also, 60% of the time, emotions work every time!

@Deep Well, at least the ego is thankful right?

@Deep It goes full circle to living your life. If you aren't satisfied with your life, it will assist in opening up your mind, and therefore options. If you are satisfied with your life, what led you to ask the question / topic? Also, welcome to the fold. In regards to higher consciousness vs lower consciousness- lower consciousness conversation - "you're an idiot, no you're an idiot! I'm right, no I'm right! You're the reason I'm angry, no you're the reason I'm depressed!" higher consciousness conversation - "You are so beautiful, aw I love you. We are sooo lucky, yes, we are. It's really beautiful out today, yes, it is" What quality do you want for your life? All the big answers are found in leather bound books.

"Enlightenment. Don't you know what it is? It's up to you" Van Morrison -
That's awesome stuff. I really agree with your Holmes quote too. Thanks. That all makes me wonder, what next? If I was enlightened, and I achieved my list, and am living my purpose, what would my perspective on all that be?

@Telepresent I really enjoyed that. Thanks. Would you also say this is similar to how our own resistant thinking is the thing to release, rather than to pursue the illusion of product of it?

@BobbyEmily lol!!!! I mean, I wanna be friends with it!!!!

Just keep up the daily practices and keep letting go deeper. It could be years between 'replies', but in my experience, if you keep letting go, you keep getting insights. Eventually, nonthinking being is an insight in itself, because it satisfies that itch for insights, as it is non-insight so to speak. After many years, insights / replies come to you as pure sensations, with no content. The last one I had left me somewhere between laughing and crying at every person I see because I experience they are all God. Also, milk was a bad choice.

When you say you don't need it, your comparing your enlightenment to your enlightenment with psychedelics experience.
