@John Are you leaving the matrix or not?! There is no purple pill. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wauzrPn0cfg

@Max_V You can pick how you see enlightenment and 'normal'. You can agree or not. It is fundamentally up to you. Let the concept of hierchy go. Get everyone on the same level. Listen to someone who is the example of what you wish to experience.

@Emerald Do you believe in coincidences, luck, randomness?

@Prabhaker Love you man. Love all your contributions. read what you wrote here and tell me how it feels to others. That's your vibe Prab. It's shocking what dreams may come. You know reality is God and all of it loves you, you know it only appears physical, you know that you do not beat your heart or takes your breaths, you know there is no line between you and everything else, what is it that holds you back so?
-
@Joseph Maynor I took multiple pills, saw psychiatrists, ate like shit and had the negative mind set that Prabaker is referring to / displaying in this post. It sucked and nothing helped. I read Think and grow rich, which lead to others. I started ONLY THINKING ABOUT WHAT I WANT ALWAYS. Stopped taking pills. Stopped seeing dr's. Started excercising and eating healthy. Lost 50 pounds. Became a millionaire. Travelled to many countries. Played many gigs. Found the love of my life and have 3 wonderful kids. Live on an island in a too big house. All while working 1 or 2 days a week. People who tell you positive thinking doesn't matter, just aren't doing it, indicative of telling you your thoughts don't matter. Listen to them if you want, or get going only only thinking about what you want. Be thankful that everyone is not doing this, the competition factor would be off the charts! A call back to your last post....monkey mind goes away too. (Daily meditation required - for me at least) Nobody ever refers to good feeling thoughts as monkey mind.

@nexusoflife I think you need some WHY in your days. Why are you going to college/ Why are you working? Why are you doing / seeking development? Perhaps if some of your perspective was along the lines of the reasons you're working and going to school are to secure some financial foundation for your future that might contribute to more inspired days vs depressed ones you might be in the light again. It's all relative. You could be a lazy do nothing bum, but instead you're doing a lot with your life. It does add up and amount to something. Your current perspective seems relative to some perfect scenario. Careful what you place your perspective against. Can you get away for a few days to allow a bigger perspective to come back? That always helps me.

Nahm replied to LetTheNewDayBegin's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
People have a long history of writing inspired words and believing what others say and write about God. Whatever there is, could it really be captured by any human's capacity? When any words are applied, it's no longer God. -

Your self awareness and honesty is inspiring to me. You rock. -
@Salaam thanks again. Great read, but I can't find an answer in there. So far, in my experience, it doesn't seem that that are separations, other than beliefs. I look though, which seems to reinforce my belief to the contrary. After all, everything, me, you, all superposition. I think we have much more in common than not. words, words, words.
-
@Salaam No worries man It seems to me we are both getting along wonderfully in the world. I appreciate your insights, and the variety of ways we can all find our happiness, wether we call it working hard & getting rewarded, manifesting, getting lucky, progress, growth, opportunities, whatever. All just words we use to describe energies. I am curious, because you mentioned quantum physics...maybe you have an answer for something I have never been able to find....we both know that at the root, it's all energy....where does yours end and the world's begin?

@nexusoflife I felt like that in my past. The current state of the world is where the current median of consciousness is. Do you want to go back? Me neither. All the darkness in the Universe is not enough to extinguish a single candle. (Rumi?) You will get more of what you focus on. Your awareness of it is the biggest step. This is a giant trap though, letting your thoughts astray to the shortcomings of the world. Pick one thing and help. Let the world go. Be the change you wish to see in the world. (Gandhi maybe ?) These saying mean very little to youth. They are of the deepest wisdoms to the experienced. Do yourself a solid and get what you want to be focusing on in front of you. Do it, say it, think it, play it, watch it....and you will become it. Be like water (Bruce m'f'n Lee). Then, your're in a real position to do anything about anything. Very sorry to hear you lost your mom so young.

@Sky All your cells respond to your thoughts. Beliefs are thoughts you keep repeating. In the short term, notice how you feel physically after you eat different things. In the long term, start seeing healthy and foods that are bad for you will disappear. Also, where do your thoughts end and your body / digestive track / stomach start? Nowhere.
-
@Salaam Yes, of course I appreciate the Dr's efforts, and his belief in his abilities. I appreciate everything I possibly can, because I believe it draws more of the same. I appreciate your continuing this convo. Chemistry, human biology & your brain, are all belief. Let's get right down to the bottom....can you give me an example of objective reality? ***Disclaimer - I'm probably wrong, my excuse is that there's no way for me to know, because reality is subjective.

@Joseph Maynor Now I have some info on your point of reference, thank you, and omg dude, one can lose one's self 100%. I think, but can't know, that anyone can. It's like anticipating getting a driver's license and a car - super exciting - then a year later it's like riding a bike, doesn't feel extraordinary anymore. Apparently, 5MEO will allow you to see / do this right away. I know shrooms, around 2grams, will allow you to see & realize that you are not what you've been thinking you are / that you are nothing ego wise, and everything otherwise. I can't explain it because clearly you are sitting there so you exist, but also, you don't. The connotations of "exists" & "real" change. It's not about adding anything, it's about taking things (or everything) away. After around 15 years of daily meditation (letting go, returning to breathing) I did experience a reality pop - not sure what it's called. Lasted 3-4 days. There is a movie called Lucy, it was like that. Everything made sense so easily - perfect sense. Like the truth of everything is that it is. What other evidence could possibly help or be needed? After around 15 years of playing guitar and singing I started to and still do experience the same thing. It is like anything else, that more focus on it brings more of it. It is also unlike anything else, in that any wanting of it is literally what is keeping it away. It's more setting time aside to allow it and to one's most feasible extent- wrapping everything else in your life around it, as secondary. It's hard to describe because I am not there when I experienced it, only just before and just after. The memory of the inbetween is like I'm witnessing but not doing anything. I bet this sounds like bullshit. My suggestion would be to go out and try everything metaphysical you can find - reiki, psychics, psychedelics, crystals, etc. Oh and if you don't already, learn an instrument. That's just good sense on every level. You rock man. Like your posts. Like the honesty in your expressions. Glad you came along. Godspeed. One more thing, cause I tend to forget this part around here....it's fucking awesome. It's the most awesome thing I have ever experienced, every time. Like if you're super frustrated with a video game, and you turn it off, all frustration is gone. It's like that. When everything is turned off, the perspective of the everything comes back and I can easily clearly see that there was never anything wrong, it was just my perspective / state. -
@Joseph Maynor Even in referencing Leo's connotation, we're not dealing with an objective definition. You tell me what your connotation of enlightened is, and I'll honestly let you know if I'm there. ? Perhaps it will be helpful to both of us, or at least matter in some way.

@Salaam I literally did have my left hand smashed, when I was 13 years old. I had an 8 hour surgery in which bone fragments were picked out of my hand and fake bones were put in. I had to wear a cast with pins holding my bones in place for almost 2 years. I have a scar that runs from my thumb nail to my wrist. Decades later, I'm still playing 4 hour gigs on the guitar with that hand. It's all beliefs bro, there is no objective truth. The whole fucking charade is relative to YOU. All mystics, all scientists are telling you that when matter is deeply studied, there is nothing there. It is you who holds onto a limiting belief, not knowing all is belief. "Arm chair philosophy" is a belief of yours, not mine. Referring to an "illusion" is a belief of yours, not mine. There is no illusion. Your beliefs are all around you. "Real things" in "the real world" he says! At least try some shrooms!

@egoeimai It seems apparent to me too. I can also see where it is not true for others, but then again, I guess that's how it works to begin with. But the juicy part, that my vibe is not just an emotion, or even limited to my body - that it effects the vibration of things around me - that's the coolest! I contemplated the LOA for a very long time and came to see that I could not find the separation between 'my' vibration and the vibration of everything 'around' me, which later lead to some awesome breakthroughs. I put it away initially, as just a 'belief', then later picked it back up when I saw that everything there is, is belief.

@Joseph Maynor i am comfortable with my type. im definitly the lose myself type. my influences are playing guitar & singing, meditation, long cardio, sex, shrooms. anything where i am gone. (i love not being gone too. the two states seem to enhance eachother) you? -
@Joseph Maynor i have been without monkey mind for years. let me know if i can help.
-
@sweater very interesting post. is he just attracting more of what he thinks? aren't we all? is there any other way?
-
@Sky nothing is 'matter'. it's all beliefs.

Nahm replied to Memeito's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Memeito instead of asking if it's real, consider that what you mean by real is only what YOU mean by real. you can change and it can then change. this stuff has been in use at the highest levels for a long time. Governments give the highest medals for such unique skills -
Nahm replied to Natasha's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Natasha i often slip into the objective 'reality' trap.
