  1. @arjuna I mean we are everything. When the ego is employed, we think and act in a seperate "me" way. For me, happiness is forever building momentum in being everything and seeing the everything in everything. Seeing God in everyone and everything.
  2. @arjuna from my experience you can either be building momentum of separation, or building momentum of connection. I think of the ego as the path of separation in regards to decisions, thinking, and how to treat others.
  3. @Scholar I don't think you practice daily proper meditation. I say this because one of the benefits is that we let go of the habit of expressing the first or second thought that bubbles up. Meditate, notice the thoughts, let them go and return your focus to your breath. You will see that thoughts keep coming, and then eventually they stop. Practice this daily and you'll soon be without the reactional impulse to say the first thing that pops in your head. Keep in mind, all you have to do is not do anything. There is nothing you need to do to align in this manor. (Other than meditation, which isn't really doing anything).
  4. The hinderance isn't the feel good day dreaming, it's the "crippling lack" verbiage that you are keeping alive. Dream your dream. It's your superposition / imagination. You can be anything because you are and are made from everything. I suggest you keep your focus on your dreams and watch them come true. Just employ more patience, feel good about being able to have positive vision, know that practice and repetition, combined with connection & inspiration, will lead you to anything you want in this life. Belief & focus & practice become the skill level you desire. Don't ever repeat any of that self doubting stuff again. Realize you are the only thing keeping it alive. Let it go. If you struggle to let it go, admit to yourself you are not meditating properly every day.
  5. @cetus56 Perhaps you have not been holding many resistant thoughts lately? general acceptance & appreciation? awesome to hear and happy for u ?
  6. @Shin sounds like you regained bodily consciouness ahead of your Self reentering the body during sleeping / waking
  7. @Torkys seems like you are arbitrarily picking two things and creating a scenario in which you have to pick from them.
  8. 1.5 to 2 grams of shrooms might do it. studying quantum physics could help u see that you're just energy looking at energy right now. letting go of all preferences could do it. Also, something to think about that might help...all emotion can somewhat be categorized as points towards connectedness and feels good, or points towards seperation and feels bad. consciounessness just can't be found.
  9. @egoeimai Thoughts most definitly can be stopped.
  10. @alyra Sounds so depressing.
  11. @J I had manic depression and anxiety too. I went to dr's and took pills. None of it helped at all, it got worse actually. What did completely 100% rid me of all of it was daily meditation, excercise, listening to positive speakers and healthy eating. For me, sugar was the biggest catalyst triggering my depression. It took me years but not because the effects take that long to work, but because I didn't have any knowing that it would be fixed by such simple things. I spent years yo yoing and put the "puzzle" together. That's just me though. We're all different. I'm sharing in hopes of helping. Maybe you picked up your dad's thought patterns at a young age? If so, that can be undone. I would have bet my life that there was something wrong with me and that I wasn't like everyone else. Now I am much older and I see that I picked up my dad's thought patterns at a young age. Consider having a blood test done to see if you're low on iron, vitamin D or B, etc. On another avenue, my 5 year old son wakes up like a ray of sunshine everyday. It amazes me really. But if he doesn't get attention from me for a couple days, he lashes out. Maybe you learned a thought pattern to get attention at that young of an age because your dad was depressed and not in a state to give you the attention that you needed or wanted? One last idea, and I know it probably doesn't seem like this would help because it seems to easy...but maybe listen to something positive everyday like Abraham Hicks. I think, in a big way, all we are is the perspective we're used to. Listening to someone talking from the best perspective you can find online, everyday,....eventually leads to you having a similar perspective. It's easy, and it works. Just my opinion though. I hope something helps.
  12. @alyra Read that knowing you and you alone give definition to 'real' and 'illusory'. Also, you are not incorporating relativity.
  13. @krazzer Sound like food is the catalyst. Bear the withdrawal, refrain from eating poorly. Break the cycle. Great self awareness and assessment.
  14. I much prefer connection and inspiration which are their own reward and the more of those I have, the more creatively I express. Also, they are self cyclical, which is nice.
  15. @Russell Parr I do respect your position on meditation. Initially, it does seem that logic and thought are products of the brain.
  16. @Jordan wang I work in a field of agents who are all independent sales contractors and you'll be happy to know that extroverts are successful, and some introverts even more so. Being social and having a solid network is a key to success, for sure. Hiring people who are social and have networks is better by the multiple of the number of people you hire. You're a thinker, strategist. You want to know how things work. How people work. How matter works. You're not a Superman out there in the streets and on the news. Your Batman, running smart, covert, a preparer - behind the scenes-. Am I right? Continue your PD. Invest in a franchise, or work your way up through management at any company. Use your PD to help your employee's. Be the boss you want to have. I bet that's been in you for a long time and you know what I'm talking about. Insurance, Real Estate, fast food, factories, corporations, it doesn't matter where. It's all about people and you're going to learn a lot about yourself while you really help a lot of people. Also, friends wise...you are the universe, so is everyone else. See the God in everyone. Feel God looking through your eyes. The universe and everyone are your friends. After college, in terms of business and networking, Facebook is good enough. Business needs take huge precedence over friend circles and social statuses. That shit literally disappears. You will need to buy something at your company, and someone else needs to sell it. No worries. When you can sit with someone you don't know for a lunch hour and genuinely be fascinated by them, you will be someone that people will line up to work for. Not because your social or extroverted, but because you learned how to see. And effort will have nothing to do with it.
  17. @CuteYTDawg Good for you! What dreams may come.
  18. The good news is, there's something you want and you want it badly. The better news is you already know what you want. The hard news is, it's time to start making healthier choices and listening to positive and motivational things daily. Hourly if possible. Speaking only from my personal experience...be thankful for the desire in you. Most people only dream of it. Stop trying to extinguish it, you can't. You came here with it. For it. So do it.
  19. Self love enables mastery. DJing though, no mastery. Learn an instrument if you want to master your focus, which then enables you to master anything you focus on.
  20. @CuteYTDawg My intention is that this helps you like it helped me...... What is trust, really? It's just a prediction or guess on if someone will do something desirable or not desirable on your behalf. Right? Looking at it that way freed me.
  21. @MiracleMan I have experienced a similar, but not as rough past. I hope you take this positively, but it actually sounds to me like you're doing very well (in the big picture). There is equall and opposite effect in all of the cosmos. You are not an exception. The fire within you, combined with that you obviously do many things about it, will culminate into an equal and opposite joy of living that very very few people will ever get to experience. The key, obviously, is to hold the fuck on and keep going. You will come out of this. You will know things that know one else knows. What was your isolation and pain, WILL one day be your stratospheric unique joy. Just keep learning, looking, etc. If it helps.... the monkey mind is 100% only a repetition of previous thoughts. My advice is to listen to the most positive things you can. Abe Hicks comes to mind. Listen to it as many hours in a day as possible. Order a few micro wireless earbuds and plug one in your ear all day. Over time, your monkey mind will be repeating that positive content. And then, if you choose, it will be much easier to be without the monkey mind all together. Best of luck to you my friend. It is rough. I know.
  22. @WaveInTheOcean That's so awesome. Thank you. To me the universe seems perfect as I assume I chose this as it is. It seems some people disagree, which I could not exist without.
  23. Sounds like you're holding anger for something that someone did. Then eating poorly which prevents you from having the clarity to see that you are the one hurt by holding the anger. Not that it's easy to let go of, but in the end, all else is procrastination.
