Emptiness refers to the content in the cup while nothingness refers to the true nature of ‘the cup’. But don’t try to bend the cup, that’s impossible. Simply allow it to empty. -

Contemplate no one is missing nothing. Or trip. One in the same. -

@Etherial Cat There could certainly be a will, but there doesn’t seem to be an I which does, has, makes, or even knows there is, or what it is. But sometimes there actually does seem to be an I which knows, that there is, this “will”. Not knowing isn’t really the important factor here though, it’s really about me getting all my stuff. Energy and states are so sneaky & confusing! -
@Truth Ya man, and if ya look around enough there isn’t even the problem. This just keeps on keepin on. This just keeps bein the answer so to speak. Beautiful really. Perfect. Problemnessless.

It’s the same, just without the ‘tribe’ (alpha / beta), and self referential value / judgmental comparative thinking (delusion). Then it’s as easy as, the same as, anything else experienced, or if you like, ‘you’re doing’. Business as rape and pillage is a very heavy & discordant projection of an ideology comprised of reactive adaptation conducive only to manipulation of people, as compared to doing business with people. That’s just me though, gotta try it for yourself to see.

I would only push back on that point. Imo what you’re describing here isn’t manipulation, but simply being honest, which is already the authenticity in & of itself, and thus even authenticity isn’t a prerequisite. ?

I’m rollin with that new Buddha Will, where first they gotta find me, and then I get all my shit back. You can do it guys! Don’t give it up till you’re absolutely sure it’s me! Nonduality’s so damn funny I can’t even withstand it. Death & loss are obviously thoughts, and of course there is no thought or thought attachment. This is an appearance only ‘within’ the spheres. The humility of the recognition that the mind can not go where it has not been is priceless invaluable and meaningless. It’s all about being in the right state. -

“Knowing one is alive”, of course death is just Not Knowing. No more, no less. ?

@fopylo Being alone is awesome. Being with people’s awesome. Self referential thinking is suffering.

@opeli Why are you meditating in the first place?
-
The grounded, strong masculine approach would be to help others with suffering (vs creating suffering). When you do you both experience growth.

Doesn’t matter. See it differently then, since the way you are choosing to see it does not resonate or feel good to you. It’s effortless to change perspectives and feels better. Neurology isn’t legos clicked into place which never change. It’s constant change. Small point though, doesn’t matter. If that doesn’t feel good, and the perspective is ‘now causes a physiological reaction’, change the perspective to a better feeling one. Not that and not something else either. You are making the claim that there is “something which happened years ago”. If there really is that, prove it. Take a picture and post it or pm it to me.

No, perfectly able. It is unseen, how ‘you are holding on’, do to misunderstanding feeling. But it is felt. A thought about you which doesn’t feel good, doesn’t feel good because it isn’t true. It doesn’t matter if that is your thought, or someone else’s which they verbally express to you. Doesn’t feel good. Ain’t true. It is this simple. The regard for this experience as ‘this shit’ is judgement. Looking down on it as if you’re above it. When a thought arises about you judging yourself, it (that thought) doesn’t feel good because it’s (the thought) not true. Why would one hold on to a thought, which isn’t true, and does not feel good? Sort of a trick question. One wouldn’t, one is believing the thought, and then saying “how do I let go and feel great again!?”. “Really shitty” is not an emotion on the scale. That is a thought which seems to be about you. What is said to feel shitty - you are saying - is you! That you feel really shitty. Well no wonder that thought doesn’t feel good, you’re awesome! How’s that thought feel talking about yourself, not good. Is it true, no. ‘Do I have to do something to have an experience, carefree, like these people I see?’ No. You let beliefs go. This is not ‘a doing’. It’s doing’s twin brother you are just now meeting, non-doing. You’ve been doing your whole life Neo. This is non-doing. Doing is the matrix of the mind, the illusion of the separate self, the believing of self referential thoughts. This “matrix of the mind”, is the belief in a thinker of thoughts. Thoughts arise… me, my, mine, I. These thoughts are for communication. In the movie The Matrix, there are Agents. Agents are deplorable, ambitious, greedy, self centered, arrogant, prideful, and unthinkably manipulative control freaks of nature which very literally do not feel. The scum of the earth, to such an extent, they have pulled the wool over everyone’s eye in regard to that there even is an earth. These agents pose as doctors, mayors, leaders, teachers, parents, friends, significant others - could be anyone -and Agents convince you, that you need to know what they know about The Self, in one or a millions ways, but a product is always involved. “What” is a self referential thought. Is this a problem? Well, manipulation IS “I know something you don’t and you need what I know, or, I have something you don’t and you need it”. If you are believing it, you’re being manipulated, via being convinced to believing in need, and thus experiencing that there is a problem, and that there is something or someone you need, so you can feel better. What you’re experiencing is not your fault, yet it is to you to let beliefs, conditioning, go. You are experiencing precisely the damage done by those who manipulate. More poems! More expression! Everyday!!! Not believing thoughts is dispelling beliefs, and it feels good and is naturally clearing of clarity. Burst your bubbles! Keep expressing, that is the way!

Yes. That’s usually pointed to with the phrase, The Truth. Include experience, in anything. Yes. That “I” never happened. Or, happened precisely as experienced, a thought. When you are conscious of dreams there’s no you and dreams. Perfect. ??

What Will Be. ? We can talk about what will be! And…it… will. -
@fopylo It’s never hard to let go, it is decontraction. What’s hard, is the holding on. @mandyjw That’s. Fucking. Awesome.

Thought attachment is a tricky, tricky situation. How is this known while simultaneously said to be occurring unconsciously? You are literally saying there is no consciousness of this at all, and yet it is controlling every part of our being, which is, consciousness. Similarly, how can consciousness ‘become so conscious’? Wouldn’t it first need to actually be known that a you can become conscious / more conscious? Isn’t ‘our own being’, by definition, already therefore by default not the apparent limitation of individual bodies? Isn’t human form already a thought, in accordance with direct experience? As a consession, yes this is not only possible it is like creating your own reality - it is simply activity and expression, without thought attachment to the contrary, and is already the actuality. Control is realized in the relinquishing of the conditioning, or belief, in control. Relinquishing thought attachment, conditioning, and the believing of self referential thought is not ‘woo woo’, or “spiritual concepts”. Everything else is. Adding self conceptualization is adding more conditioning, more suffering. It’s ALL aversion. -
@EmptyVase Maybe you are sort of believing you can think meditation. Trying to bring meditation ‘into the thoughts’, trying to compare it, etc. Might be time to realize this is meditation, in the same way there is no one to speak of inspiration, who has a phone, who experiences a ‘morning’, who knows what ‘force’ is, who is lazy, who is conditioned, etc. Might be trying to bring ambition to meditation, like it’ll get a you somewhere…?
-
Nothing. If you’re inspired to do anything else, do anything else.
-
@fopylo What perspective doesn’t feel that way? What perspective feels good?
-
@4201 ?
-
No. What is it to you so to speak? To me, unconscious isn’t actual. As in, never actually experienced it and it seems only conceptual. To me it seems like a cover up, a way to blame and project the discord of my perspective onto an abstraction, a concept, which doesn’t exist. I suggest understanding the emotions you’re experiencing, rather than focusing on concepts & abstractions. But honestly maybe it’s something altogether different in your experience, idk. Slavery (in your usage of the word here) is conditioning. Many people, myself included, got jobs which provided personal independence etc, without ever thinking of it as slavery. Total opposite ime, it was opportunity, which unfolded to better and better opportunities. It actually feels great to do honest work. Freedom. Started several business with what was learned from working at the initial jobs. But thinking you’re entering slavery does not feel good, because it is discordant. Or, it’s the discord which does not feel good. Paints slavery onto freedom. In choosing feeling good, one would choose a different outlook / perspective. Perhaps the thing that would be naturally most helpful and exciting has be recontextualized as slavery, and you are feeling the discord of the perspective, but believing it’s true and believing you’re in that situation, and the situation is asserting bad feeling upon you. You’d have to consider the arrogance of knowing, not in a personal way, but in the sense, we don’t actually know what an experience is like until, we experience it. Might turn out to be a bridge or gateway in a sense, to everything you might be wanting. More esteem, confidence, friends, know how, significant others, fun times, developing skills, independence, more opportunities, etc. (As examples of what someone might be wanting). I didn’t say you were responsible for anything, just that how you feel is more important than what you think. Responsibility is likely another perspective which is discordant for you. I’d consider your response ability to such perspectives. We are all always free to reach for a better feeling thought, and it is that alignment, that feeling better which matters most. Honor what you want in an honest manor. If you want an ideal combination of time & money, you can have it. Focus on what you want, that which feels good to you. Blame is an emotion. Try the emotional scale. It works. If you do, take note sadness and depression are not on the scale, because these are not emotions, as these are similarly (to what you’ve shared) self referential conceptualizing. Conditioning isn’t resolved by adding conditioning. Only by letting it go.
