@Tim R Weird question . I’m not sure if you’re sure either. -

The conjecture of solipsistic spiritual ego is now conditioning via one’s own spiritual bypassing. The absence of said conditioning, conjecture & bypassing. Increasing conditioning with conjecture via adopting concept vs inspecting what is actual and liberating of the concepts, ideas & beliefs. The conditioning & conjecture is discordant but rather than being inspected and dispelled, it’s being justified with an additional belief in some thing called “loneliness”. There isn’t ‘that thing’, there’s the the thoughts and how the thoughts feel, but the feeling is denied while the thoughts & concepts are believed. No separation is already the case, it is the divisive separative thoughts which aren’t resonating. Maybe you’re feeling the momentary relief from your own beliefs. Without any of these beliefs there isn’t any of this discord. You’re trying to make it fit, let it go instead. -

Transference isn’t risk, it’s healing. -

Would you be willing to share how becoming a parent has changed you (so to speak of course)? Maybe five specific ways? Simple stuff like ‘well I used to do this, and now I do this… I used to think this way and now I see it like this’. -

@Tyler Durden Does becoming a parent change a person? If so, how, in what specific ways? -

Reminds me of some old & wise scriptures, of a man who was ‘lookin California, but feelin Minnesota’. Similarly, ‘thinkin Legolas, but living & feelin Icarus’. Wants to be yam I you go he says. This freakin guy. -
@Yoremo Like they’re gonna end up happy and fulfilled… and you’re a bit concerned you will not, because your happiness is more tied to physicality? Specifically, in the capability sense. Seemingly contingent on physical ability, much more than the average person? And you’re a bit ‘stuck’ in that situation, for a while now…? Sorry again, but does that tug on the pain even more so to speak? Would your ideal solution be to somehow perfectly unify… the mental, physical, and emotional? Unify as in ‘how do I get these all on the same page so there’s no more tug of war anymore between them’?

@EmptyVase I don’t know. Spread the revolutionizing around. Not talking spirituality here. Work related. -
Nahm replied to Carl-Richard's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@EmptyVase No I didn’t. That’d be fine though. Spread it all around really. The relevant thing is the difference. The outcome. What changes. -
@Preety_India Does my disappearing act seem cool, funny, entertaining, or more like a shirking of responsibilities?
-
Nahm replied to Carl-Richard's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
And it will revolutionize the work that you do. Not the industry per se, but how you do what you do, whatever it is you do. Actually, it will cascade too. A lot of people will change how they do the same line of work. -
@Preety_India What comes to mind that I did, may have done, probably did? What responsibilities did I neglect? Who did I hurt in my self centered ness? An old gf, my wife, my parents, my kids, my friend?
-
@Preety_India And are they still out there carryin on as if this wasn’t even a problem, like nothin happened, thinkin highly of themself? Fooling people around them like they’re a good person, getting off Scott free?
-
@Preety_India Who absolutely blew it when childhood comes to mind? I mean just flat out shit the bed, totally neglected their own self created responsibilities and instead just basically did whatever their selfish assed egoic mind wanted to get short term pleasure?
-
@AndylizedAAY Have you tried sayin “mom, will you buy certain foods if I write them down”?
-
Does it feel like you see others moving forward, and maybe you aren’t as much as you would like to be? ( (Sorry) but does that activate, intensify, the heart pain when you read that? )

@Wildcattt555 The kindness in your reply, and that damn puppy picture … ya got through to me as well. God bless. ? -

@Wildcattt555 I do indeed get it, and I am sincerely very sorry to hear of your loss. May they rest in the eternal unconditional peace of our being. I want to add, so to speak of course, I meditated every morning for over twenty years, ‘experienced’ cessation, and then tried psychedelics. I am not saying that is per se what I recommend, I’m just saying I do indeed get what you are saying, from a ‘place’ of direct experience, and whatever I do or don’t recommend, is just another opinion. The only teacher, the only authority ime, is our shared being, and is only found within. -

Again, it’s a suggestion and nothing more. Look into the distinction between pain & suffering. As an example, pain is localized. If a doctor asked where is the pain, it can be pointed to. Suffering arises of discordant beliefs, such as “negative emotion”. For clarity, this is fundamentally all grey at the same time, and never black & white. If that sounds vague or confusing at all, then let’s say it’s 90% grey, 10% black & white, if more amicable. Maybe one day it’s all grey, in peace. It’s not really my point at all. It’s an invitation to inspect direct experience more. Nothing more than that. If what you’re doing is working, Godspeed. That’s great. I say this knowingly out of throwing range ?…. Unhealthy & unpleasant emotions is a belief, and is what aversion is. This is how the suffering is created, and is not how it is resolved. Again though, this is no more than opinion & suggestions. The info on my site is free. There is no ask. No product. The inspiration of what is shared is inseparable from the sharing of it. If it is not for you so to speak, no worries. I do wish you the best.
