  1. @Nemo28 If there is no separation between you & thoughts, you & sensation, you & perception - if there is no separation - then how many are you?
  2. @coconutwater Did not care for those sites, but, there’s no problem with content, nor reality, ego, the devil, thought, or feeling. Judgement & blame simply don’t feel good, and we can pick better feeling thoughts. Might be some stuff you experienced and or did, which was inadvertently (innocently) used to create identity beliefs, which now seem to be preventative of expressing feeling, expressing what you do want. There’s no reality to leave and get back to. The beliefs come back, perspective follows. The good news is, they’re just beliefs. They don’t hold up to much scrutiny.
  3. @SoonHei Not as familiar with websites & forums as it might seem.
  4. @coconutwater Oh, interesting thanks. My kids & I will check them out now. Appreciate you mentioning it. ??
  5. @Nate0068 What if you’re a holodeck and forgot who you are? “I’m not a holodeck, I’m a person.” How do you know that? ”I learned it.” Where’d ya learn that? ”...the holodeck...?”
  6. What is that? Other forums basically? Tv shows?
  7. “I’m not in control of my thoughts” is just another thought. You can believe it, or not believe it. Establish what you want, what you really, actually, want. Then notice how a thought resistant to that, feels. Notice how a thought aligned with that, feels. We aren’t ‘made’ to ruminate. We’re creating. Don’t talk about the cards all night. Use them to play poker.
  8. @Nemo28 “How do I know ‘my direct awareness’ is not just another thought?” Are you aware of that thought, or not? ”Maybe everything is thought and there is nothing else”. Are you aware of that thought, or not? ”Maybe the awareness as something distinct doesn’t exist, since it’s just a thought” Are you aware of that thought, or not?
  9. ‘Externalizing’ is the implication of thought, rather than an actuality. A container that contains external stuff is also a thought. Separation & no-separation is thought, duality. It can not depend on point of view to say what “it” is, as point of view is another thought, as is dependence. Thought content or implication is sneaky.
  10. @Nemo28 Imo the more questions the better. It’s expediting. I’m not suggesting doing or not doing anything with the thoughts. Pointing to no separation. There’s no separation, direct “awareness of”, but not a separate thing or object (thought). So for example, no thought could really actually hurt you, because there is already no separation. Then examine in the same manor of direct experience...direct without separation...sensation, and perception. Not experience of, but, direct experience.
  11. @Nemo28 Nothin “in between” right? No middle man, no connector...direct awareness of thought - no separation at all...?
  12. @Nemo28 The past, is actually - thought - which you are directly aware of now, yes? As in, a memory, is thought, which you are directly aware of now, yes? The future, relationships, how they might or might not go, is also thought, which you are directly aware of now, yes?
  13. @Nemo28 I’d look at that, and say what here is not a thought, not a perspective? What remains?
  14. @Serotoninluv That’s some delicious juice right there. ⬆️ (According to some guy)
  15. @CultivateLove ?? Feeling the love, thanks. It’s unfolding perfectly. (And just in case there’s any confusion at all, I forgot to add Marianne Williamson’s name to that quote.)
  16. @wk197 The elusiveness is ultimately that there is nothing to grasp, because this is already the actuality. You just created this... this post... That wasn’t before it was. Now it is. What you do next, now that is. Intentions, desire, wanting, thoughts, none of these are excluded, none are separate of creation. These are the very means.
  17. Right on, that’s precisely the point. A perspective is a perspective, awareness is aware of perspective. Perception is perception, consciousness is conscious of perception.Thought is thought, ’made of ’ infinite intelligence, awareness, consciousness... and infinite, unlimited being. It begins to sound like there are parts, pieces. The trinity comes to mind. The father, the son, & the Holy Ghost. You’re the son in this interpretation, God is the father, and ‘reality’ - thought, perception, sensation – is the Holy Ghost. If indeed there are not three, nor two, but One - then being, an infinite being, must indeed be The All That Is. You could say, you are already seeing and saying that you are detached from the thing you’re experiencing. Aware of it. Then, that no separation can be found. The ‘problem’ is, “I can’t possibly be that awesome.” You are though. There is no nonexistence. You so Are.
  18. @Nemo28 You might say nothing changes, there is no nondual perspective / point of view. What perspective is not thought, perception, and sensation? What are these, absent the awareness of?
  19. We find ourselves in a world magically already underway, a bit like a new character on the set of a movie, and by the time we’re able to deduce a bit of what’s going on - we’re already up to speed on the program; acclimated & assimilated of, the ‘human, earth, physicality, me’, story, etc - the script. Then we start to notice the “script” of it, relative to, feelings. Then we start to see that the script, isn’t really written “out there”, but rather is being written - “in here”. The “script” has been running the show so to speak, running the feelings....but hold the phone! -I’m the author? Feelings aren’t like thoughts really, and an intuition in us, a feeling says, “hey...it’s time to flip the script...it’s time to start writing the story you want to live”. You might say, if we were to pick a single word as the fulcrum of this revelation, it would be matter. Initially, it seems like feeling, consciousness, love, ...are the product of matter, “obviously”. But that plot gets shot full of holes when the actor stops acting, and starts listening to feeling, to the real. Sooner or later, it is discovered, that ”it’s”, all relative. That what “matters”, is you, and what really matters, matters to you. You might also say all those bullets frozen in time, with the ‘wave of a hand’, are actually just the thoughts of Thomas Anderson, the ‘me’ of the script...that the author, the one - you - can just....(insert story you want here). There’s a scene, a changeover, awakening, in which One “walks right out of the machinery”.
