  1. @EvilAngel You’re refusing the truth of your awesomeness, and the mind is going to great lengths not to feel love. You’re not “evil”, you’re judging yourself. That’ll never feel good or ‘work out’ because you are one, already whole. You can’t actually judge your self. There’s one. This is why it feels terrible. Because it’s non-sense. That is a rather perfect description of the experience of insisting you are “evil”, or “bad”, and your true self, your inner being, (FEELING) saying “That’s not true.“ The “core” is Absolute Unconditional Love. That is why your self beliefs feel so relatively terrible - because essentially, your beliefs are perfectly false. Keep insisting it’s true, and you keep suffering. Start letting go, let it out, talk to someone if that helps, and you begin liberating yourself from the suffering. It is likely someone in your upbringing didn’t inspect their own beliefs, and you internalized their behaviors, and defined (created beliefs) yourself. They were never true. It’s up to you, and you are fully able to do this. I wish you well. ♥️
  2. It’s hard to resent people. It’s easy to start writing down what you want, and choosing good feeling thoughts about it. “Reducing the thinking” is great. It’s not “total”, because, desire. “If the responses that I get on this forum help me I promise that once my issues are resolved I'll spend more time on the forum trying to help others.” Obviously you already know some things you want. Do you see the condition you’re holding / believing? Drop the condition, and just do that. Give love, and learn as you go. Willingness, humbleness. You’ll experience how it feels good to love, and to do what you want. No need for conditions.
  3. What they want to. Not for “meaning”, simply because they want to. What do you want?
  4. Let go of the condition ‘you must control your thoughts’, and just write down what you actually want in this life. You could say this is taking responsibility for your own happiness and well being. It could also be said that as you are simply positioned to choose a better feeling thought, there isn’t any actual “taking responsibility” to be found. Some people spend lifetimes on thoughts about thoughts. Some just pick one, now. Set intention. Choose thoughts aligned with intention, thoughts that feel good. Watch what you are wanting unfold right in front of you, “inexplicably”. Resistant thought arises: slow down, acknowledge the feeling of discord. ”What’s a better feeling way to look at this?” Thought arises.
  5. @Nemo28 If there is no separation between you & thoughts, you & sensation, you & perception - if there is no separation - then how many are you?
  6. @coconutwater Did not care for those sites, but, there’s no problem with content, nor reality, ego, the devil, thought, or feeling. Judgement & blame simply don’t feel good, and we can pick better feeling thoughts. Might be some stuff you experienced and or did, which was inadvertently (innocently) used to create identity beliefs, which now seem to be preventative of expressing feeling, expressing what you do want. There’s no reality to leave and get back to. The beliefs come back, perspective follows. The good news is, they’re just beliefs. They don’t hold up to much scrutiny.
  7. @SoonHei Not as familiar with websites & forums as it might seem.
  8. @coconutwater Oh, interesting thanks. My kids & I will check them out now. Appreciate you mentioning it. ??
  9. @Nate0068 What if you’re a holodeck and forgot who you are? “I’m not a holodeck, I’m a person.” How do you know that? ”I learned it.” Where’d ya learn that? ”...the holodeck...?”
  10. What is that? Other forums basically? Tv shows?
  11. “I’m not in control of my thoughts” is just another thought. You can believe it, or not believe it. Establish what you want, what you really, actually, want. Then notice how a thought resistant to that, feels. Notice how a thought aligned with that, feels. We aren’t ‘made’ to ruminate. We’re creating. Don’t talk about the cards all night. Use them to play poker.
  12. @Nemo28 “How do I know ‘my direct awareness’ is not just another thought?” Are you aware of that thought, or not? ”Maybe everything is thought and there is nothing else”. Are you aware of that thought, or not? ”Maybe the awareness as something distinct doesn’t exist, since it’s just a thought” Are you aware of that thought, or not?
  13. ‘Externalizing’ is the implication of thought, rather than an actuality. A container that contains external stuff is also a thought. Separation & no-separation is thought, duality. It can not depend on point of view to say what “it” is, as point of view is another thought, as is dependence. Thought content or implication is sneaky.
  14. @Nemo28 Imo the more questions the better. It’s expediting. I’m not suggesting doing or not doing anything with the thoughts. Pointing to no separation. There’s no separation, direct “awareness of”, but not a separate thing or object (thought). So for example, no thought could really actually hurt you, because there is already no separation. Then examine in the same manor of direct experience...direct without separation...sensation, and perception. Not experience of, but, direct experience.
  15. @Nemo28 Nothin “in between” right? No middle man, no connector...direct awareness of thought - no separation at all...?
  16. @Nemo28 The past, is actually - thought - which you are directly aware of now, yes? As in, a memory, is thought, which you are directly aware of now, yes? The future, relationships, how they might or might not go, is also thought, which you are directly aware of now, yes?
  17. @Nemo28 I’d look at that, and say what here is not a thought, not a perspective? What remains?
  18. @Serotoninluv That’s some delicious juice right there. ⬆️ (According to some guy)
  19. @CultivateLove ?? Feeling the love, thanks. It’s unfolding perfectly. (And just in case there’s any confusion at all, I forgot to add Marianne Williamson’s name to that quote.)
