It’d require time to ‘trace back’. No time, no distance...then no “tracing back”...what’s perceived, is change. A separation between the perception of, and what is changing / what is perceived, can not be found. The separation between perception and perceived, can not be found. The separation between knowing perception, and perception, can not be found. For having inspected, this is ‘known’...what is known?....the Knowing itself known. By who? The knowing itself. So appearance of “change”, is actually No Thing, or, the “Nothing” “itself”, or, all that “is perceived”, “known”...is you, which is, knowing. What is known? Nothing. @mandyjw One of life’s many backwards questions.... “why the’ Nahm” ? Hard to say, but seems to first require to double you. There’s a tiny joke right in the middle too, I like to think, at least after the doubling.

@Lento Notice the more and more subtle. Notice you’re creating reality in the choosing of thoughts, literally. Careful not to write thoughts off, with a thought. “If I am truly consciousness & infinity”...it’s like window shopping with the “safety” of the glass (if). But “Because I am truly consciousness & infinity” “puts you in”, it’s like going into the store, having a real look around, seeing what it feels like, etc. The slight change in consideration can lead to obviousness, like, how else could I appear to be finite?

Inspecting and finding unique assumptions made of self & reality, which basically, limit in an unseen manor. Underlying perspective & experience all together. Before: What “guidance in sensation”? After: “Holy shit this is awesome!”. The thought / belief never aligned with the guidance of feeling...but “that’s just how it is”...or “that’s just how I am”. The realization you might say, is that. That “it’s just how I am”, or “it’s reality”...is not true, and never felt true. Transcend = become fully conscious of.

@Amit How is thought, feeling & behavior directly experienced by you? Check and see. When you asked the question, and felt “fear”...what is it?

@Raptorsin7 Ten people witness a robbery, and fill out ten police reports. Every one of them has a different account of what happened. To you & I, that makes sense readily. It’s all subjective. Right, “I get it”. However, she was also well aware, it’s all subjective. But it was at a highly intelligent, conceptual “functional” level, underpinned by a root belief she was unaware of. In doing the thought & feeling / emotional scale ‘work’, she felt great and had an instant that she realized what you and I hold to be pretty straightforward. She had a unique way of seeing things, and that included a subconscious ‘belief’ that everyone has the same, or very very similar thoughts. She realized, that is not even remotely true. This liberated all kinds of misunderstanding of feeling / all kinds of connection with the Goodness she is. She instantly felt drastically different, as her feeling which was suppressed, released a lot of insights, entire new ways of seeing much of what is most important to her, because she saw it all as herself. The wildest thing is you and me “get it”, and also have entirely unique - but yet the same thing goin on - in terms of subconscious beliefs and unique ways of experiencing. She said, “90% of my thinking, was about what was wrong with me”. (Very happily as she realized / enjoyed it...lot of ‘oneness laughter’)

@Raptorsin7 There was a great example today. Someone I’ve been working with directly experienced oneness in a very big way for the first time. In inspecting thought, simply as it arose, she realized she had a ‘layer’, or belief she never noticed / completely overlooked. She realized that she thought everyone has the same thoughts about what is perceived, that everyone ‘see’s it similarly’. Emotionally, in her unchecked assumption that people think like her, (she assumed they had basically the same thought when it comes to shared experiences)... she then had assumed “they must be like X”, “I must not be like X” (Not realizing the thought was what was different). The “I must not be like X” part was a lot of self referential thinking / self judgment). Full on oneness, kind of flying through insights about her current relationships, past, etc in a kind of awesome joy-spewing...seeing it all from the oneness. Very joyful and moving. It seemed a great example of how effortless the inspection really is, as it’s subtle, and yet at the root, prior to perspective and played a role in shaping the whole experience of living and being.

@Serotoninluv There’s hope for the world yet. ?? @TrynaBeTurquoise Guilty of silver lining here but...it seems that the material is actually serving you well, in increasing your awareness of it’s short coming, and your consciousness. Another thought...couldn’t your assignments meet the criteria for the grade, and have the meta added? (Not sure how tight their paradigm is honestly). Make those hoops yours.

@Amit Those are no more ‘lessor’ things than a seed is not a tree. Wether it’s a contradiction or not is understanding & perspective, which in large part is contingent on directly experiencing them, and not believing / attaching to thoughts. “Put” thoughts in the “things category”, as they aren’t actually “yours” either. Listen to the guidance of feeling. How does it feel to think of your accomplishing survival needs...as “false”? Also, it could be said that the difference between experientially surviving, and experientially creating, is the attachment or not, to thoughts / things. In the same manor, spiral dynamics is useful & exponential to understanding and creating, but is not useful if one identifies by it.

If the judgement is good for your sex life, then cool, no problem, it’s 1950 all day long. If there’s suffering, consider the path. You ‘win’ (Happiness) either way. @weareacouple Going from your response, it seems the ‘addiction’ if you will, is to thought and or attention. Keep in mind, I am commenting relative to your stating of the presence of addiction. In the sense, the usage of the word denotes a problematic experience, though you aren’t articulating the “problem”. The sex life seems more common to me than that word usage and explanation. This might be counterproductive to experiencing greater joys of Self. It would ‘make sense’ if it resonates in feeling, though there might not be an understanding of the feeling, if there isn’t the direct experience to relate it to. It would point to a trail of breadcrumbs, if you will. The intuition might be ‘communicating’ “that there is more”. Wether that is a “problem” is entirely your subjective experience though. Sex wise, keep rockin.
