Nahm replied to WhatAWondefulWorld's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@WhatAWondefulWorld Pressure is conceptual. It is not of an outside source. There is no “pressure” “in reality”. It is of (so far) identity, but not even that. This was seen clearly in the trip, but resumed unseen. I’d write what it is you most want different in this world, and what you’d love to do about it, on the back of your dreamboard. Then in letters ten times bigger, I’d write “nobody cares! Get over yourself already!”. I like to pull the band aids off though. You might like the slow burn. Idk. More practically speaking, the feedback is present, but you aren’t hearin it. So it’s “tinnitus”. I’d watch Leo’s video on impermanence. -

That you could ask this is the very evidence that nothing is beyond love. -

@WhatAWondefulWorld I might be way off but it seems like you’re talking about understanding reality as if that equated to thinking, vs living it. -

That was a really beautiful trip report, thanks for sharing all of that??. All of that (above) is thinking. In your trip you let go. ♥️ -

He’s talking about love. Transcending your self, you get to see the universe. -

@WhatAWondefulWorld There’s no problem with school. There’s no problem with life. There’s no problem with where you’re at on your path. There’s nothing wrong with you. -
@TheSomeBody That’s not really what I meant. It seems you only struggle with focusing on what doesn’t feel good to you, what you don’t enjoy. There are two considerations that come to mind. One is there is “something wrong with you”, and that explains it, done. I favor the second, which is that there never was anything wrong with you, and it’s actually how you’re looking at it, and misunderstanding the feeling, thought & focus as such. That one must take classes more or less having nothing to do with the degree one is pursing is a sign of the times, and imo, archaic. It does however, make a few people a lot of money. So I would at least consider the possibility, that your spirituality only appears to suffer in the believing of that perspective - which does not jive with feeling (it doesn’t feel good, and effects focus as such). To me, you are, spiritually speaking, intuitively well ahead of your time, which in and of itself could be profoundly inspiring - if you didn’t hold beliefs which do not resonate with your being. Meditation, likewise, it amazing for taking time to yourself to relax, detach from thoughts, and allow the body to empty. In misunderstanding, one often “doesn’t like meditation”. Often, the body is letting go of the misunderstanding, but the mind uses beliefs (of the very misunderstanding; “something is wrong with me”) to prevent the body from releasing misunderstanding. When it does however, when the mind acquiesces to the body, well, desire & focus abound. I’d look for opportunities for the mind (choice) to get on board with the nature of the body (well being). Simple changes go a very long way in terms of inner alignment. Something as simple as choosing fluoride free toothpaste, aluminum free deodorant, or cutting granulated sugar from the diet, etc, could be life changing. And if you haven’t, for God sakes, make a dream board.

@zeroISinfinity Oh I got ya. Thanks. It’s because. (Good journal inquiry. I derailed this one already apparently before you even got here ?)
-
@zeroISinfinity Not sure what you’re saying there. Do you mean...why did I forget? Or why bother offering, as in conversing...?
-
@DLH Isn’t ‘the past’ a belief though? How can there be an ‘unconscious belief’ which is contingent on another belief (the past)? What I’m getting at is all which could be said to be ‘needed’ to see, is already what is, what is presently thought & felt. That there is nothing beyond surface. (Ultimately revealing love & compassion aren’t a point of view, perspective, thought, subconscious, or belief.) With respect to your request though, yes. Ignore this and return to the topic. No worries.

@DLH Neat. It’s possible the more subtly desired inquiry which initially “resulted” in creating this thread is arising in clarity. A flipping of outward inspection, inward, if you will. If you’re interested, just for fun, these questions come to mind... What is it, actually? Can you explain an example ‘close to home’...a belief you are aware of which you are not conscious of?

The work is challenging, no doubt. The feeling of concern is only related to your thoughts. One can “listen” to them in that manor, leading to liberation & revelations. There’s a bit of a ‘smokescreen’, in the present inner-misinterpretation of this, via projection that the concern is of an other. Very understandable though. Godspeed my friend. -

@TheSomeBody If you no longer believed university is “taking it away from you”...the result would be “boring”? I would think it would be liberating of mind, body & feeling. Perhaps you are on a path influenced by what you think other people think, and realizing more of what you want for yourself.

It is wild. I don’t know what or why. Some people, first time I see them or read a word of theirs, a certain ineffable “connection” just is. Then, there just is an occasional thought which feels more like an insight on their behalf. I think it has to do with having let go of ideas of individual people being in “different places”, etc. It is a fun game on both accounts. ♥️ -
@zeroISinfinity (Sorry, didn’t see your post till now) That is a great inquiry. Yes. One can never align another, but one can align, and others have an example to reference. You can help another to align by sharing, but only they can ‘close their gap’. In a beautiful way, there is nothing you can do for another, but by the time another understands why, they’re aligned. @lennart Thank you ?? and you as well. ♥️

@Flowerfaeiry Interseting thread, I had a hunch you were starting it. When I first started it was also ‘through the eyes’. Then behind people in reiki. Me and the kids play a card game I made up called Psychic Guess, where they clear their mind, and I show them a card in it, and when they see it, they wager poker chips on it. It keeps it all fun & love, which is what ‘works’. Their ‘guesses’, given the 1 in 14 odds of being the next card, are roughly 90%. Never seen two kids laugh so much in my life. Lol. -
Nahm replied to Forrest Adkins's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Forrest Adkins It can initially be disappointing to realize love isn’t an idea, and that self improvement is about behaviors and actions & alignment. There’s sound logic in calling it ‘the ox’ rather than the mouse. If letting go was effort, everybody would be doing it. I believe the metadventure is for everyone, but I’m wrong at least a few times a day. -
How would you imagine life to be, without that belief?

@GodDesireOnlyLove Love is infallible af. @Preety_India I was just attempting to contemplate your actual, true beauty, but I’ll admit, I could not let thinking go. One thought really. This one thought, just kept looping over, and over, and over. So I gave up honestly ?♂️. Sometimes it’s just easier to express the thought and be done with it. “You gotta see this”. Which reminded me of this.

What about ‘dealing’ more directly with what’s going on in thought & feeling, rather than focusing on balancing the symptoms & label? I’m speaking from bias here by the way. Had I not done that very inspection and just abided in the label of “manic depressive”, I’d be “manic depressive” to his vary day. Sometimes doctors label things they don’t know about themselves, as if something were wrong with people. I’m not a dr obviously, so take this with a pound of salt. ?? Often we judge thinking as “negative thinking”, but it’s the feeling that doesn’t feel good. There’s usually a change then to positive psychology, motivation, and perhaps diagnosis & pills, usually helpful. Then that doesn’t ultimately satisfy, and so we begin letting thought attachment go and discovering truth, which is to say, listening to the feeling like we should have in the first place. Meditation is the medi-way, the middle way, “between you and source”. It’s hard to believe, so don’t bother - but no pill, person, thinking or activity can supplement the flow of source. Connecting, ‘tapping into’ source, is unthinkably orders of magnitude more intrinsically efficient & transcendent yet inclusive of psychology and physiology, and is the very source of everything you are wanting; clarity, focus, power, happiness, joy, love, desire, etc. Give up stories in meditation. Or don’t, honestly. It’s all the same at the end of the day. Do what most feels aligned for you. ??
