The anticipatory anxiety & fear of rejection would no longer be there. You’d have some emotional growth from doing so, and you’d be more confident in the future having experienced the actuality and therefore realizing the suffering was the avoidance & suppressing of emotional expression, band aided by obsessing with the thought - not the girl. That would be a very healthy distinction for you to learn by experience. On the path side of things, that “towards” is quite important to recognize. The mind tends to hijack feeling, and paint a picture the love is coming from her. Do you have someone you could talk to in person about this? A family member, a friend?

@SQAAD God cares about you, like you care about the character you are playing as in a video game. The only reality or actuality of that experience of the character & game, is you. The experience of the character & game transpires only within you. When you die in that game and lose all your stuff, you didn’t actually die or lose anything. You can just be another game, and another character. Any “loss” was game stuff, in a game world - an experience of which transpired within you. You’re still you. You can’t not be you, and you’re formless, so you can “be” anything. This “reality” is the game where you can be anything. You don’t even have to be a character. Matter of fact, you can’t be. But you can resume pretending that you are, as this is the game which is already afoot.

Just imagine....if you were making reality-existence-experience up as you go, then those things will come into fruition just as your say. Then the question might be why are you choosing to create as such via focusing on them. A possible answer is the simplest one, it is what you want. Yet these activities are proving not to be what you actually want. They’re not leading to better feeling. So feeling better, better feeling, is actually what you want. How can you claim to know the future, if there isn’t one, and you’re making this up as you go? How can you feel better, while you insist you can not? Where is feeling Shiva? Past? Future? External? Within? Purification arises. It is nondual. There is no ‘on & off’. One option is to buy into the thought story & share it, suppressing the purification / emotional release. Another is not to, ensuring release. Fear is something each of us imagines, yet not all of us. Just one.

One who experiences humiliation during development sometimes goes ‘full swing’ self misunderstanding in opposition to humility, making their entire life / existence about materialistic measures & status falsely derived of comparison to others, in effect missing the very empowerment of our source they actually need, want, and most desire, that which everything they are wanting is and is of. There is also the potential to go full boar meta and actually strengthen those false perspectives, veiling oneself from oneself in castle walls of self-conception without realizing one is even doing so. These together are a most unfortunate two punch combo that I wouldn’t wish upon anyone. Also, not unrelated... one who grows up around another who shapes their own world view such that reality or the world is at fault / humiliates them, sometimes creates a deep, subtle but intense fear of any possibility of being humiliated. This is one of the toughest nuts to crack, as the discord is itself utilized as the barrier in a sense. The psychosomatic effects on well being, life energy, outlook and basic health can be experienced as chronic / exponential, typically going completely missed, misunderstood, and misdiagnosed. “Humility, kindness and grace are key” Indeed. I’d go so far as to suggest humility & kindness is the living grace, and the foundation of infinite creation creating.
