Imagine an image of a map of your house on the wall, coming from a projector. The map would be of the house, and could be said to be in the house, but also wouldn’t be existing. Light would be existing, looking like a map...and not even. Then what if you create a drawing on that map? -

@preventingdiabetes Pretty much. You get to do all of the above, and as you do it’s all more seen as one. You even get to do all the stuff along the way that you haven’t even thought about yet. It’s a no lose situation really. -

@Leo Nordin Imo, this is where the Dreamboard comes in. You’ve already done the heavy lifting of experiencing which inherently created preferences. Now continue creating & discovering yourself, by getting it all in front of you and seeing it from a new vantage. Then watch & enjoy it all unfolding. -

man “Well, I came home, like a stone, and I fell heavy into your arms”. I could no longer carry this weight of living without you, and in my surrender, you opened my eyes. source These days of dust, which we have known, will blow away with this new sun. We were never apart, and now we are one in a world made anew. “But I'll kneel down, wait for now”. And I'll kneel down, know my ground. “And I will wait, I will wait for you.“ And I will wait, I will wait for you. man “So break my step, and relent, Well, you forgave and I won't forget.” Break my patterns, and do so in your name & in your nature. It is recognized you are ever-loving, I must let go the past. source Know what we've seen, and (know) him with less, now in some way shake the excess. Know this world as yourself, as I. Know others as yourself, as I. Recognize the suffering & inequality, discard your attachments. “And I will wait, I will wait for you.“ And I will wait, I will wait for you. So says man awakened: “Now I'll be bold, as well as strong, and use my head alongside my heart.” Fearless in spirit, determined in physicality; feeling shall lead, thought shall follow. And so says his source: So tame my flesh, and fix my eyes, a tethered mind freed from the lies. And thus shall you change, as I am liberation. “And I'll kneel down, wait for now”. And I'll kneel down, and know My ground. Raise My hands, paint My spirit gold! Bow My head, keep My heart slow! “Cause I will wait, I will wait for you“. And I will wait, I will wait for you.

An interpretation that came to mind... And I feel that time's a wasted go So where ya going “til tomorrow”? And I see that these are lies to come So would you even care? And I feel it And I feel it The illusion of time, and therefore life & death, is seen through via feeling. To live a life in time void of feeling, is a wasteful go at it. Only in the wandering mind we seem leave this miraculous everpresence and ‘go somewhere in time’, & thus worry for a “tomorrow”. As readily as the truth is seen, so to is that it can not be spoken. Our only option is lies, and indeed they shall continue. But why then, in the recognition of truth - would you even care? (The answer) And I feel it And I feel it Where ya going for tomorrow? Where ya going with the mask I found? And I feel, and I feel When the dogs begin to smell her Will she smell - Alone? And I feel it And I feel it Where is there to go in truth? How can ‘you’ ‘go anywhere’, when ‘you’ are the mask I found in forgetting myself? Deeper yet into feeling, senses are heightened, spiritual sense of ‘smell’ is self recognized & exponentially broadened, the eye is opened, dualistic thinking is transcended - and I can not help but to wonder, will the calling & the light come to her, will she know the truth as well? And what then will I be anymore to her, when she knows the truth? What, where, is my salvation? (The answer) And I feel it And I feel it And I feel, so much depends on the weather So is it raining in your bedroom? And I see, that these are the eyes of disarray Would you even care? And I feel it And she feels it Eyes open in the truth of feeling, it is readily seen choices are largely deterministically sleep; yet ‘where you sleep’ was never as it appeared - we’ve always been in control of the weather, of our ‘inner worlds’ - of ‘your bedroom’, and your bedroom is the world. It was always how you see it, it was always about connection through feeling, not the shifting weather of the world of objects, nor of thought about it. Now I see in truth, why this land of confusion is so... and so does she, and we see the answer, yet the truth of - I am. (The answer) And I feel it And I feel it When the dogs do find her Got time, time, to wait for tomorrow To find it, to find it, to find it When the dogs do find her Got time, time, to wait for tomorrow To find “it” To find “it” To find “it” Truth is fully seen in the nature of forgetting & remembering, the creator & creation are one and I am home - and finally, this place is plush.

@RoerAmit Might want to see a doctor about the pain. I’d say it’s pretty natural, and yes body awareness imo is super important. You can become so aware of the body that you realize even the impulsive nature of sex drive / testosterone etc comes and goes, and then you are are no longer moved by it.

The ‘issue’ is the neglect you mentioned, not ‘this other thing’ “spirituality”. If I wanted a hamburger, would you suggest I focus on a hamburger, or an ego? If I wanted to feel my absolute best, what would I focus on? Becoming attached to outcome and therefore less driven to achieve goals also does you no good if your basic needs are not met. It is difficult from that perspective of need. That perspective is about yourself, not the ‘things’. More accurately, you want to have sex, relationships, and income. ‘Listen’ to the feeling which is the wanting, the desire. Enjoy the desire, wether you have the things or not. That is the real fun, the aliveness. A dreamboard, because a dream is the only possible situation in which there is wanting. ? If your perspective doesn’t feel good, let it go in meditation. If you no longer want to experience perspectives that don’t feel good, meditate each morning, first thing. Perspective is one liquid, not little individual solids. “Be like water my friend”. - Bruce Lee It’s because you hold the belief they’re at lower stages of development than “you”. Without that belief in your superiority, they’re exactly the same as you, in that we can all hold beliefs & judge. Without judging “them”, there is no “you”, judging them, there is no You. “It is a man's own mind, not his enemy or foe, that lures him to evil ways.” ― Siddhārtha Gautama -

Being more engaged with life contributes to feeling great, and you might think of awakening as the greatest feeling. Yes you’d probably do what you want to do, but also, you are already doing what you want to do. I think it would be good to hear what you don’t want to hear but are looking to hear, which is that you have more than enough time for everything you want to do, create and accomplish, and continuing to make a this or that situation out of the concepts of life purpose & awakening is not doing, creating, or accomplishing anything. -
Nahm replied to preventingdiabetes's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@preventingdiabetes Imo those practices serve your life purpose perfectly, and I think you’ll see a deeper and deeper degree of how, from actively creating and pursing your life purpose along side them, as you go. Imagine the enthusiasm and energy of a basketball player who is practicing like....maybe...there might be...somehow ...spontaneously...a game day...? Vs the heart & vision of the player who’s mid-season and practicing for the game this weekend. Two different levels of engagement and inspiration. One’s not really headed anywhere and the latter is the guy in your picture. If they do seem in competition time wise, take a minute and write out your schedule on one side of a blank piece of paper. I’m confident you’ll see there’s time for everything, and seeing it in front of you like that can bring about a shift in perspective & inspiration. -

Heck no, but more importantly how could, would or should such a thing be up to someone else? It’s really up to you. I can’t think of any reason you wouldn’t live the life you most desire to. I can see where attachment to thoughts & things might be worth slowing down for now & again, but desire, excitement, enthusiasm, passion, these are beyond thoughts & things. The best of this place is not of this place at all really, it’s what you make with it. I’m at a loss to name something more enlightening for you to be doing than discovering yourself while creating the life you most want. That’d include fully understanding & expressing yourself as you go. It’d be so fast In fact, that it’s already well underway. You’ve already experienced enough to know what you want next, and the next opportunity to consciously create it, is already now. -

@preventingdiabetes How is life purpose a distraction from enlightenment? -
Nahm replied to preventingdiabetes's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@preventingdiabetes If you want an awakening experience, in the sense it is fleeting, psychedelics are best. If you want awakening that is lasting, life purpose is actually the fastest route. -
Totally possible. I experimented with these methods and found the ‘pee muscle’ thing not only works, but the cumulative awareness / heightened connection with that muscle results in eventually not needing to utilize it to experience the same result. It gets realized to be a “mind over matter” thing and was the whole time. Then, oddly, or perhaps counterintuitively, that leads to having as many organs as you want. I don’t know if that was from the muscle building aspect of it, or the awareness / connective aspect, or both. I would say it is a ‘healthy / secure’ thing. Can make for a healthier, as in more robust sex life, and I suppose most guys aren’t really looking into or practicing this, so there could be something to be said for a relationship being more ‘secure’ in that sense. Maybe in the manor of, well fed cats don’t tend to be looking for new places to eat.

So you’re believing that I am. When you say ‘you are saying’ it isn’t what I’m saying it’s still what you’re saying that I’m saying. If you think about it, there is never a call for telling someone what they are saying. Sounds finicky & pedantic, but the path is that of deeper into subtly and nuance. Little kids play with big blocks, older kids play with legos. (Meant as an example not a personal implication) Nuance isn’t tedium, it’s organic. It’s relatively important to this convo because I already answered what you are asking. Just subtract what you’re saying I said. Same thing. Already answered. Slow down when you read it. Read it ten times if need be. (If ya want to) Be mindful not to add to it. (If ya want to) Experience does not equal Truth. That’s the kind of distinction Christianity (in large part) sells, which 5meo clears up. But you don’t need either, and you can notice, you are still ‘lumping me in’ with Leo, in the 5meo manor. That axe to grind elsewhere is more clouding here. You’re confusing yourself with the lumping, the telling me what I said, and the thinking / expressing in double negatives. You could cut your workload by like 50% in terms of energy. Maybe 60%. 90, even. (100 actually.) Classic ‘othering’ here. That’s when you objectify people who don’t see things like you by labelling them. It a subtle way to ignore & remain superior. I had a protein shake today, does that make me a Shakist, a Shaktian? Christianity, 5meo...either, neither, and both are workable path options. I’m not sure the term direct experience has really ‘clicked’ for you yet. If you were radially honest you wouldn’t be believing in trust. Right...cause you can only pick one. Choose wisely I guess. -
Worth noting - nothing was, or is, or could or would ever be - “wrong with you”. It’s possible that ‘trying to fix myself like mad’, is the avoiding of feeling, as in the body releasing and understanding arising. Simply in being mindful, aware, of perspectives and how they feel, you can recognize some habits in terms of perspectives of blowing things out of proportion. That can be a real energy drainer, and if one isn’t aware one is doing it, it can inadvertently be internalized as “something’s wrong with me”, which keeps the loop of this going. Inspect, notice, this is not the end, you haven’t experienced an end. So the perspective “in the end it all seems worthless”, is the projecting of a current temporary situation and or feeling, on to the whole of experience or your entire life. The reason that doesn’t perspective doesn’t feel good, is simply because it isn’t true. When this occurs, willfully choose a better feeling perspective. Even if that perspective was, “welp, this day sucked”, that is a much better feeling perspective than “in the end it all seems worthless”. But of course, don’t settle for “this day sucked”. Reach for an even better feeling perspective. Maybe take five minutes every morning and every night, to write down three things you are thankful for from that day, and three things you’re looking forward to the next day (tomorrow). Simple things, because it’s not really about the things - it’s about changing the perspectives & momentum of how you feel. That HUGE! Congrats! Look to win the inner monologue game by reaching for that better feeling perspective. Choose to experience this as a fun hobby / pastime, a game which can be played 24 / 7, the incentive & reward of which, is the better feeling...feeling. If you do, some emotions will bubble up, be sure to breath, feel & focus on seeing & hearing...essentially, anything other than focusing on the thought story of it. The more emotion released from the body, the easier it is to ‘reach’ to those better feeling perspectives. Momentum builds, to the tune that you won’t have to do the reaching. Really great feeling perspectives will become the default. When you ‘win’ that inner game, which you have 100% control of...you will find that the ‘outer world’ begins to change in equal measure. Again, mindset of fun, light, even...excitement to see this happen for realz in your life. But again - keep ‘the point’ to feeling good, in and of itself. Careful not to build expectations of feeling better in a future. Feeling isn’t ever in a future. Feeling is now, and always now. You only have to ever ‘win’, this one single moment, now. There is some momentum in the direction of discord. That is, the focusing on of perspectives which don’t feel good to you. That led to the ‘blowing things out of proportion’, and the internalizing of the feeling as being about yourself, aka, the ‘something’s wrong with me’ mindset (which is the same as the ‘I need to be improved’ perspective). Behaviors can be changed, and you are. Perspectives can be changed, and you are. Circumstances in life can be changed, and you are. But you - you can not be improved upon, because you are already perfect. When you feel resistance / discord / not good - look to the perspective, and change it. If you don’t, you end up creating beliefs about yourself, to make some logical sense of why you feel that way, and you end up believing it’s because of “who you are”...and then you believe “something’s wrong with you”...and then you believe “you can improve yourself”. But ya can’t, cause you’re literally totally fucking awesome. It was the perspectives that led ya to deriving ‘hopeless’, and ‘why I deserve this’...and it is feeling, and being more flexible in letting perspectives which do not serve you go - which will lead you right out of hopeless. As you mentioned, you’ve been doing a lot for the well being of the body & mind. Feel good about that! Also recognize this can make you more aware of things like you mentioned at work. But it’s tricky, in the sense it is not actually because of work, boss, etc. It’s (how you feel) the perspectives. They resonate / feel good, or they don’t. If you had a mantra for this change in momentum, I would think it would be willingness. The willingness to let go of perspectives that don’t feel good is paramount...and it is also effortless. Matter of fact, you’re going to be experiencing a lot less effort, and a lot more good feeling energy & clarity, the more not-good-feeling-perspectives you let go of when the arise. It is likely that as you do, there will be days where some memories & emotional misunderstanding from the relationships of your younger years comes up. Be most careful not to ignore or suppress the feeling when this occurs, and also not to ‘latch on’ to the thoughts when this occurs. Just breathe on purpose from your stomach, relaxing the body over and over. Look around where you’re at, look at specific items, colors, etc. Remain present. As you do, you’re going to experience a freaking awesome shift from fear - to realizations the only thing you were ever actually fearing - was feeling, and then you’re going to crush this life you-style.

When you are referring to a ‘you’ as identification with a thought that believe it knows, you are attributing believing to a thought, but a belief is simply a thought you’ve been repeating. You would actually be identifying, with the thought, that there are thoughts, which believe or know. The spaghetti monster also never was. So it would sound a bit odd to keep talking about it, only to be make the point that it never was, to the spaghetti monster, which isn’t. You’re still projecting that onto nothing. If it’s yours, as in, ‘where you’re at’, imo, just own it and begin inspecting it. Yes. I often blame my wife. ? jk. -

There aren’t any actual things, so they don’t differ from that there aren’t any actual things. No, I do not also use names when I am not communicating. That’s really up to you. You’re speaking in double negatives, which might be a confusing the inquiry. Example? -
Nahm replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I mean, yeah, but there’s just no need to say such things about anyone. It’s as if you recognized it’s projection, but nonetheless are saying “oh well!”. There is some ‘truth’ to ‘lessons’ reoccurring until we acquiesce, but I digress. Honestly, this seems like justifying things you’ve said that were really a projection of ill intention. ‘Stuff getting deep’ doesn’t justify anything (imo) as there isn’t any actual ‘clash’. In that regard, ‘not knowing’ and ‘knowing’ are just dualistic thoughts, which can not even simultaneously appears, and therefore there is no possibility of them clashing. I think what you might mean, is there are some kind of ‘forces‘ of ‘not knowing’ & ‘knowing’ which are clashing together in some kind of like, metaphysical existential battle or something. But that’s not really happening. “Smell someone who think they know” is all yours. The actuality of the ‘situation’ is weird. There is no defending of anyone or anything actually occurring. There is no ‘you’, as there is no separation. Yet ‘within’ this no separation’, here we are. You, me, etc, are words, language. Essentially, these are “thoughts”, and are for communication rather than identification. ‘Nahm’ is just a word. Just a thought. A name for communicating, not some actual thing. When the perspective said to be the not seeing of it is let go, ‘it’ is ‘seen’. Amen! Never even had it. ? In the sentiment of being helpful, offering clarity...what was stated there prior to the word view is accurate. That you are seeing it / categorizing it / taking it to be a view is in a way, appropriate. If they suggest something, and that something is not recognized for what it is, then it is, from your perspective, their view. However, I would suggest it is the finger, and points to direct experience. Not a view on direct experience, but is the actuality of direct experience. Words / thoughts get circular ‘here’, only direct experience or in this case the ‘seeing’ what “direct experience” points to, would ‘do’. Same thing applies. Whatever anyone says about reality is, and can only be, interpreted as their belief or view, until the moon of it is directly recognized by the one hearing what the other is saying. I think calling it a belief ‘system’ is going too far, given that both Leo and Rupert clearly articulate the finger & moon situation. Imo, a belief system is more dogmatic, or religious, in the sense “you must adopt our beliefs to be a member of our organization / so you don’t go to hell when you die for all eternity, yada yada”. I would go so far as to say (and this is just opinion) that Leo & Rupert are arguably the front runners of the entire population in being the messengers (if you will) of Truth, and the seeing through the numerous belief systems already quite rampantly underway, and largely (and arguably) destroying all of our well being, and not to mention this planet relative to humans continuing to ‘exist’ on it. You might say, they have dedicated their life to being the very message. That there is nothing there, language & semantics aside, is about as true of a pointer as language can point. I can not in the literal sense, ‘know’ if, on their behalf, this is an assumption or not. If however, someone were to devise a means of this being seen with certainty, as to wether or not this is an assumption on their behalf...and I was offered the opportunity to place a bet on the outcome being that it is not an assumption of their behalf at all, I would indeed bet everything thing I have, so to speak. In short, they know what they’re talking about, it is not a belief or belief system, and it is not an assumption. The ‘assumption’ actually, is that there is something there. You’d have to take special care to note you can never actually know of someone’s assumptions, only your own (or not). The Truth can not be put into words, as it already is. The ‘truth of 5meo’, likewise, is a matter of direct experience. Just like if I said “Dodd’s, you gotta try a pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks - it delicious!”, and you’re like “nah, not me kinda beverage”...you can notice the difference between direct experience or not. Tasting it would be direct experience, thinking about how it tastes and mistaking that for the direct experience of it, would be mistaking the thought about it, for the actuality of it. (Of the taste, in this analogy) Btw...5meo & a pumpkin spice latte could be a pretty sweet day. Almond milk & stevia of course. ? Not necessarily. That is deducible with logic. If I were to say “there is this thing (X) outside of awareness”, you could simply ask if I was aware of X. If there is something outside of awareness, there would have to be awareness of that very thing. “Fools” is a funny term. There was a time I knew a lot about quantum mechanics, like, a lot. I also saw Richard Dawkins as someone who was forthright and had his science & facts straight, more so than others in his field. I was a fool! Then later down the path, ‘I saw’ what they are, and what they were talking about actually is....and now I am a drunken fool! Fool circle?! Idk, lol. Aside, Richard Dawkins seems to be a stand up guy who does solid work. I would really, like super really love to talk with him on Skype. That can be a very tricky nuanced ‘place’ there. Consciousness as a word or pointer is synonymous and interchangeable with awareness. So the same example from above (with awareness) also applies, and can be logically utilized to see that there couldn’t be a thing outside of consciousness. A materialist (in this context) is someone telling you physical objects & the separation of them, is actual, as in, most fundamental. They might hold this belief to the degree that they are being honest in telling you this, but only because they are yet to inspect their own belief. People can be honest & tell a lie at the same time, when they don’t realize they’re doing so. The intuition however, is per se, not like a person. We each have one, so to speak, and wether to listen to it, dive into it, or not, is a one-off / up to each situation. So, “outside of consciousness is something we will never know” is in fact not a “true” statement, as a pointer. It is an assumption that there is an “outside of consciousness”, and further that there is “something” outside of consciousness. But again, whatever that could be said to be, can only be said to be, if one is conscious of it, so to speak. That makes it therefore not “outside of consciousness”. I fully agree with the sentiment of not assuming neither something or nothing, but I do not agree that is ‘the end of it’. It is a logical realization via detachment from ‘one’s own’ thoughts & opinions, but, I strongly suggest finding out, to the degree of absolute satisfaction. -
Nahm replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
There’s not something for a me to get. ‘That’d’ still be me. Yet again, “egoic love” is your construct, your offering - you’re saying this, not anyone else. You’re are again using semantics of seemingly non-individual implication and still missing that you are saying it, to a ‘me’. If there is such a thing or event or experience as ‘satisfying it’s specialness requirement’, it (evidenced plainly by that you are saying it) is coming from you. Had you asked, rather than accused / implied, I’d have said “egoic love” is a sort of misnomer / misunderstanding. But again, you aren’t really looking to contributing, nor are you asking and leaving room for reply, just making accusations and still projecting. Kind of a ‘dead horse’ at this point imo. “It” is not actually an “it”. “It” is just a passing perspective about ‘Nahm’. Nothing really matters indeed! I disagree. I think an approach of ‘taking it head on’ would be indicative of more of the same suffering that leads you to believe there is something to fight, or some adversary or spiritual ego that could be taken head on. I think if one takes ownership of their attitude, their intentions, what they say, and inspects & understandings any feelings in experience, it is not hard or tough to ‘crumble the cookie’. In a way that cookie is always just crumbling itself, and to make an adversary of it is futile. That is interesting. Were I to attempt to define myself, I don’t think I would have limited to that. Idk though. I think you mean reign, but otherwise I agree. Inspiration is divine.
