@Podie45 You took the meds to ‘solve’ that you were ignoring well being. Talk to your doctor about weening off the meds as slowly as is possible. Over as many months as possible would be ideal. Today, right now, choose well being. Feel the shift in orientation - call that relief alignment. If you don’t feel that relief - let the presently held belief, which is in opposition to it, go. Humble to it. Not it to you. Sacrifice literally everything else, all activities & beliefs which are in discord (you feel it) with well being. Careful not to claim you can’t feel....while you’re paramount concern, is how you feel. You’re feeling alright, absolutely. Feel the truth of yourself... You are patient. You are kind. You do not envy. You are not boastful. You do not degrade, diminish, or dishonor others. You are not self seeking, you are giving, and loving. You do not rejoice in thoughts of discord, but in truth. You are always hopeful, you always persevere. You never fail. All knowledge will pass away, but consciousness, silence, you -will eternally remain. Turn pain into beauty, by allowing the fetters of untruths about you to naturally fall away. Choose to align perspective, with feeling. Pick a tool. Start expressing. Start understanding the emotions you’re experiencing. Blame me. Hate me. That is a good start. Don’t settle there though, go all the way up the scale. Empty the cup, which is filled with unwanted. There is nothing you can do, think or believe, which could make it such that you are not infinitely loved. Stop trying. Stop denying. It’s people like you they fear you know. People that get up. Get up.

What’s a past & present self? Explain that to me like I don’t have one, and want to understand your beliefs.

There are not two. Who or what could identify as awareness... and identity...is /are thoughts awareness is aware of too. Where is “things”? Where is that direct experience? -

@Loving Radiance Gotta be careful with this not believing thoughts about you stuff, it’s been known to drive people completely happy.
-
Nope. What’s one more thought?

Easy, send flowers with a card, with forgiveness and an apology. -
?? ”I know I want a relationship for selfish reasons”...is a belief about, yourself. Imagine if you were believing the same thing, but about someone else... “I know Jim wants a relationship for selfish reasons”. Reframing the thought about someone else, it’s easy to see that you don’t really know this about Jim, you believe this about Jim. You’re “stuck”, because you claim you know this about you. The Truth sets you free - you don’t know anything about you. You are you. Let the “I know” part go completely, and there is just honesty - “I want...”. The “you” that the belief is believed to be about... is a belief! What is aware of the arising thoughts, ideas, beliefs? You! You don’t know you want a relationship for selfish reasons...you believe you are selfish. That feels “off” because there are not two of you. ? You are neither selfish nor selfless.... those are thoughts. You’re the awareness of the thoughts. It is much, much easier to recognize the feeling of the discord and say, “ok, that thought about me does not feel good...what’s a thought that feels better?”....than it is to create more beliefs to justify why you feel as you do...such as “serious issues”, “hate”, “need someone else”, “satisfy my self image”, “accepting myself”, etc. Keep it simple. “That didn’t feel good....what does feel good?” There’s never going to be “something wrong with you”. That’s never going to happen. If you want to, you can believe thoughts that there is...but you’re the one believing the thoughts. That one can also meditate, etc. This might help with the shift, the reorientation.

Just take the ‘you’ out.

If you created her and she is made of the same as you, what is it you ultimately want? Give her that. -

Your friend’s as existent & nonexistent as you & everyone & everything. If you’re going the mode route, casually shift the focus on breathing from the stomach. After a while there’s no more thought, yet everything just keeps aright on happnin apparently. Instead of thought sorting for truth in the literal ‘which thoughts’ are true sense, feel the truth of any thought. -

I found tea to be the difference in terms of nausea and all symptoms stemming from it. I think you’ll love the difference. I think drinking water before and during is fine. Good to be hydrated. Not sure about the prescription, but I would think it’d be fine. If it has any peculiar active ingredients, maybe just drink some pesto bismol. Not sure. As far as fasting, if you mean literally zero food intake, I lean towards having something that day, but a good 4 hours or more prior to take off. I usually had loophole shakes for two days leading up to the trips, and between that and tea vs eating em, it was perfectly smooth. My ‘other suggestion’, and not in a morbid way, but in a blessed and appreciative way, say goodbye to this lifetime. Think of the good times, the high notes, those you loved and had fun with, appreciate the gift it was from source, and just be done, a final “annnd I’m out!”. Godspeed and safe travels my good man. Say hi to the wizard for me! -
@SamC ?? ?? Well being btw, choosing it, is choosing that which is appearing as the whole of experience. I meet many people trying to change this, that, the other thing, the past, the future, the self, and the other twenty things... but aligning with well being is the single most fundamental alignment, and every single one of those other ‘things’ is intrinsically, automatically, aligned.

@Mu_ Loved it. ?

@DaHonorableCourt Beautiful. Really love the perspectives, hits the notes so sweetly. Thanks for sharing!

@Denial I hear ya. Can be a rough ride letting beliefs go. Feels like mourning even sometimes. Waking up...I’d suggest it’s aligning feeling, focus & thought... which is only possible now, and never possible not now. Much effortless letting go, which is made difficult, by not letting go. Weird how effortless doesn’t always equate to what one would find ‘easy’.

I would say attempting to detach from feeling is definitely not the way to go, and this isn’t related to understanding anything. It’s a letting go of what’s already being held, rather than a doing / learning / understanding. What is is what is indeed, but is never the way you think it is. Good to hear. “Free will” as something we have or do not have, or that some have more or less than others, would be the kinds of beliefs that when we hold them to be true, we recreate suffering, as the belief is in discord with truth. It is a belief about yourself, which isn’t actual, accurate, or ‘true’. Also, and I’m aiming to help so please take care to be mindful of the relief in letting go of beliefs and misunderstandings, and the happiness of aligning with actuality, or truth.... your idea of spiritual work might not be ideal, and may have room for alignment in and of itself, so to speak. In a nutshell, spiritual ‘work’ isn’t work at all, it’s letting go of beliefs, misunderstandings, misinterpretations, and misidentification to the extent living, or experience, is joyful, spontaneous, and fun. (Imo) Kinda heavy on the judgement (total garbage). You may not realize that is yourself you’re talking about, but you are feeling that it is nonetheless. I’d suggest that if anything anyone says does not resonate with you, focusing on what does swiftly, long before such discord is created.

@ShugendoRa In what way(s) are you aware of, or experiencing, ‘negative entities’? Seeing them? What do they look like? Also, what makes them negative? How do you know that’s true? Also, what’s the interaction like in the sense, are you in control so to speak? Do you summon them and un-summon them at will, or is your experience more powerless in regard to them? -
Nahm replied to soularlight's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@soularlight Awesome. ?? -
@Denial Some beliefs there which aren’t really true about you. A thought loop if you will, labelled depression (not to imply it doesn’t feel terrible, but the labels cover up the whys / what thoughts are in discord)... those beliefs looking for what is true. Sometimes we can hold beliefs about ourself that seem so true, we are missing it’s the judgement which is causing the discord. In missing this for a while, it can lead to being progressively disparate to feel alignment. It can seem like we need a break from some things, or even all things, when the ‘break’ desired is actually from the discord of the belief(s).

@KGrimes I can appreciate that for sure, but I think there’s something ‘below’ that’s fueling the monkey mind, as in it’s not really about others.

@Fkdel Read the last three meditations here. I think you’ll be feeling. ?
