Creating / believing dualities and conundrums and expecting there to be answers & solutions is like throwing pennies down a wishing well and waiting for something to come back up. Solving just isn’t how the creating well works. The well has nothing to solve. Leave that in meditation, vs taking those conditions on your trips to the unconditional. Psychedelics are great, but they are still an appearance of mind. You can experience the appearance indeed and it can be most helpful for sure, but you can also address mind directly. In a trip, and ‘otherwise’, you can not experience the loss, of what you do not believe is yours. Namely, love. If love is not a possession or product of any duality, what could ever be said to be lost? And then, what is “fear”? -
Another approach is to consider the opposite of “how is God deluding itself”. Loosely, the opposite of delusion could be understanding, and the opposite of God deluding itself would be God is not deluding itself. (The opposite being illusion would be fun to explore as well) What if God is not deluding itself at all, that being an assumption, and the delusion is that of possessing understanding... (about God)? God would then believe there is something it doesn’t understand which it needs to understand - so that it isn’t deluding itself - about it being, God. But, everything there could be said to be understood, would already be, God. Then understanding pales to inspecting thought attachment, or, beliefs about there being objects and individuals which are not God. That there is something to understand, and that understanding is a possession... would then be seen as a dualistic belief, (understander and understanding, aka my understanding, my delusion, like my intelligence, or my awareness) and without that belief could there still be delusion? Who or what remains which could be deluded, and by what separate thing, object, self or being, could God be deluded by? I suppose the dilemma is God can sometimes appear to not be able to decipher between itself and experience, yet Truth is the greatest inspector of itself, as it can not begin to inspect itself. But there is nothing wrong (imo) with the experience.

Imagine vr a few hundred years from now. No screen, just the goggles, and poof, you’re a sim in the game. Maybe a year or two, hard to say. -
I completely absolutely understand you. I don’t understand you at all. What difference was made? Other examples of infinite being being thoughts... me...understanding...you...I.
-
It is not just a word game. “It doesn’t really matter if you call reality ‘reality’ or ‘illusion’”...already assumes there is a reality, which is and is being called this or that, something, everything, physical, etc. It’s also just a word game. Awareness hides right under the thoughts about awareness.

Try physically pointing to the ego which seems to have come back again. Also look for it in feeling. Bring clarity to that this isn’t actual. It’s thoughts about it being actual. Inspect the validity of thoughts like “I reached this enlightened state”. That implies duality, twoness, that there is an enlightened separate self. That’s understandable and common given the path you mentioned. Add thought inspection. Byron Katie is a great resource. Also search the forum for @faceless and read his profile / comments. It’s very helpful in seeing these ‘movements’ of thought which become beliefs, which become the veil you’re referring to. When you know what you don’t want you know what you do want. There’s an art to being swift in changing focus to what you do want. Sometimes we dwell in what we don’t want, focusing on what does not feel good or inspiring. Inevitably we shift to focusing on what we do want. Often this is a years long, months long, weeks long, days long, hours long, minutes long learning curve of feeling discord & alignment, until it is a conscious seconds long shift of focus. Motivation runs out as its based on self image, or, how you’re seen (the motive). Inspiration never runs out, as it’s based on experiencing what you want, not what you think you want, or what you think other people want. Yes, that ‘what is right’ is thoughts about what other people think. It can’t pan out since you never experience what other people think. You’re at the ‘tree of the knowledge of good & evil, right & wrong’. You’re feeling the burn. Go to the tree of life, of focusing on and creating what you want. There is ultimately no ‘method of setting my head straight’. That is like using a hammer of psychology and doing, when only no mind will ‘do’. Thought detachment can not be thought. Self referential thoughts which are thoroughly inspected no longer arise. “Bit by bit”, the busied ruminating mind becomes silent, or more specifically, the silence was being the rumination. Rumination is fueled by uninspected & yet understood emotion. Understanding emotions experienced is no longer identifying as and the self referential thinking dissipates and fizzles out. It seems like it’s about the content of thought, the ‘boringness’ of the job, the challenge and work of ‘your own business’...but it’s not. It’s about the attachment with thought. Getting away for a few days would be ideal. Out of your typical environment, surroundings, interested, and patterns. Just you and only you will do, not the thoughts and activities believed to be yours, or define or reflect you. Youness naturally rises whenever not being the busy activity of thought, as there are not two. The perspective, in it’s discord with feeling, zaps the energy. Zoom out and see the bigger picture. This is not a waste of time to get to that, this is directly the way to that, this is that already unfolding. The point is the experience. Making present experience a means to an end sucks the joy out of present experience. This is fine. That is fine. Don’t believe this is lessor than that, and you feel fine. Sometimes it’s just good to flat out call oneself out on one’s excuses and bs. No offense. I mean that in that you’ll benefit from recognizing thought attachment, self referential beliefs. Nothing’s been taken away. What’s experienced imo, is what’s being added, in terms of thoughts, which could be let go. Yes, it’s the belief you need to do anything at all. That isn’t true. It’s a belief. You’re so free to do what you want, that you’re missing that is already the case. Remember... you chose all this. Remember why. Again, getting away for a few days is most ideal. There are no ‘problems’. We sometimes get too zoomed in, and develop an apparent reluctance to zoom out. Zoom out though. Put things down for a few days. Goodness always arises like a cork which is no longer held underwater. Letting go is directly experiencing this. Inspiration. As sure as there is the experience of gravity, it is intrinsically the true nature to rise. Don’t think it, feel it. Feel the gravity right now. Sink into it. Let your worries go into it. Relax so deeply that you let your body and thoughts dissolve into it, such that there is no longer apparent, or notions of separation. I hope this word is taken as helpful and not used as a way of beating up on yourself...but... welcome to arrogance and pride. It’s a bitch, but only if you resist the truth, which is that you never had shit, and you thus never lost shit. You’re believing these thoughts now... about experiencing the gaining and losing... but you are not actually experiencing any gaining or losing. Yes. Again, there is no substitute for thought detachment. All which seems to be is just more thoughts. There is a thought story, a narrative, to be inspected, about you and your enlightenment. You’ve never moved, literally. It’s all a thought story about yourself, getting enlightenment, which doesn’t exist. You = existence. Thinking of a you which sometimes is and sometimes is not enlightened, is just thinking there’s a you and an enlightenment. There wasn’t an object or state had... there was an entirely different relationship so to speak, in regard to alignment of feeling, thought, and focus. Psychedelics didn’t change this, but you thought & think, they do. Mind always wins. Now always wins. Stories about you & a past never win. Win = presence, now, here, not in a thought story about your enlightened self. Yes. Stop believing there’s “a subconscious”. That’s believing there’s ‘this other thing’ which you’re not conscious of. Align thought with feeling. Never attempt to align feeling to thought. “Subconscious” is a cover story when attempting to align feeling to thought, as if it worked that way. It’s already the case, and also there is a thought narrative about yourself veiling. Instead of focusing indirectly on thoughts of yourself, your story, and what you want... recognize what you want is feeling. These ‘two’ are the same. What you want, you want, because of how it feels. There’s no use, need, or practicality to thinking about yourself. Feeling is not coming from anything you’re experiencing, but you sometimes believe it is. Like, ‘when I have x, when I achieve y, when I obtain z... then I’ll be happy, feel better’. The cosmic joke. Physically point to the source of feeling to get the punchline. ? Watch The Wizard Of Oz. For real. Take the time to watch it. Then watch Hoosiers. Contemplate the deep messages of these movies.

You can desire to know the truth, like you know the English language. Once the English language is known, you could move on to desiring to know Spanish, French, etc. But you can also desire to know what desire is, which in a sense would be the opposite direction, in regard to ‘knowing’ ‘stuff’. Thoughts can also be inspected. Specifically in regard to believing, thinking, and speaking, as if there were two of you and also a truth. Nirvana is in the details. Inspecting thoughts of subject object relating, is bursting bubbles of goodness, of the oneness that you are. This is (so to speak) a movement away from experience is like, and experiencing as... this & that’s, this way & that way’s... desire is this or that...and toward pure liquidity, poisitionlessness, true nature, desire itself. Believing desire is separate of you is never going to pan out. There is a reaction and projection that is sometimes experienced. As an example, the experience of someone who is not beating up on themself inner monologue wise. The reaction & projection might be ‘they have good genes’, ‘they’re enlightened’, ‘they’re lucky’, ‘they’re gifted’, ‘they’re talented’, or a million other potential ‘they are’s’. When one finger is pointing at they, three are pointing at the creator, and at what the thought is really about. The response though, imo, is understanding emotion and the true nature, and jealousy, and would be more ‘what I want is ______’, and then just keep filling in that blank. Don’t try to be without desire, it only separates and leads to getting stuck in self referential thinking (the ‘one’ with or without desire’). You are the greatest creator of all time. Look at the sky, listen to the birds. Desire is not an experience, desire is not created. Desire is creation, is experience, is life. In aligning thought with feeling, you can know some things about your true nature (imo)... you favor creating, experiencing, being, togetherness, and life. -

Inquiry / inspecting what is. -

Realizing your preference, your work is done. No more thinking, like what is significant or insignificant is needed. Let expectations go, as they limit interpretation. A wide open curious, interested, enthusiastic mindset is ideal. Raise your vibration in closer proximity to that which appears as what you’re focusing on. -
By believing the thoughts it is in the literal sense being. Thought is dualistic, or, implies two. I am just asking myself. Is there an I and a myself, as in two of you? Of course not, but when believing thought one believes so. To believe God deludes itself is to miss this by believing the thought ‘God deludes itself’. That is the delusion. One, or, ‘the singularity’, God, appears as two, believes thoughts & creates an apparent separate identity, but is always still One, or, is always still the true nature... which is why some thoughts resonate in feeling and some don’t, why it feels good to realize truth. God isn’t conjuring something else, God is being whatever is referred to already. Being one lens, made of infinity, is being ‘any number’ of lenses.

@OneIntoOne That is the belief being addressed. -

Just like you said, after trying it out. Just like everything else. What you’re saying is exactly the same as someone saying sky diving is hypnosis. One would only believe this before sky diving. You’re probably thinking “it’s nothing like that!”, but missing that’s how a belief works so to speak, you’re believing it’s true. The nugget is the difference between thought and direct experience. The meditative mind is neither thinking nor believing. The belief detachment from thought can be thought or believed, is logically graspable, as in recognizable as a belief, vs direct experience. Also, is that really what you want? To know prior to direct experience? I don’t think you do. I think you like the mystery aspect of experience. -

As a charade, sure. The charade is that they’re in your direct experience. Focusing on a better feeling thought is fun and feels good.

If the the exploring, the karma, understanding, a thought wanting, a thought returning or coming around again, rejection, owning, separation, that there was a Jesus, that there are parables, that there is counter to intuition, thinking about a thought from a different perspective, wanting something from a thought, a thought wanting something from you, interpretations, that there are teachings and teachers, that there is good and bad, that you have thoughts, that thought can & can’t be be discarded, that someone is a messenger, that someone is ever listened to or killed are walking, “at rest” is sitting perfectly still in a chair in the sense the walking didn’t occur at all in experience. Not oneness is truly ‘known’, but these thoughts occur in, as, or as part of this experience... but the thoughts are not occurring, literally, yet everything is happening or appears to be nonetheless. Forum / comment / communication wise, it likely seems like I’m picking apart what you’re asking and not really answering. This reply probably doesn’t translate and just seems like being critical, semantic, aholeness, but the first ‘movement’ would be the arising of a thought which became Ex.. and then Exploring. That ‘movement’ is felt in sensation exactly like the foot on the floor prior to walking. Both can be not executed, or, not followed through with, or ‘Ex’ can be ‘brought to rest’ before it’s even ‘Exp...’. -

You don’t get it. You don’t understand me. My brother, my mother, my father, my friends... these people are subordinate, insubstantial & small, lessor, imbeciles, asleep. Ostracize yourself of their poisons to the cave, become wise, know the present, which wasn’t seen in such a close proximity, as blood does blind, like wrapping paper. (Tone is for effect here) ? -

Awesome. As an actor that’s pretty impressive, as a creator these beliefs & assumptions are unaligned with feeling & the truth of direct experience. Waking up early shows you how powerful it is to think, ‘I don’t need to think about x, y, and z cause of the extra time’. Which doesn’t exist. Just the thinking about it appears. Clear sky’s tough to beat. Yes, a perfect and synchronistic playground of a carefree loving universe is beckoning. That’s garbagey & self referential. ? To eat clean, align thought with feeling (not feeling with thought), inspect self referential thinking, and that the activity of the finite mind can be turned infinitely silent at will. Forget about enlightenment and focus mindfully. Focus is prior to delusion. By focusing on it, you keep deluded. (It really sounds like you want the straight skinny on this thread). The fantasy however, is actual. The fantasy is that there is a “reality”, while reality is the actual fantasy. Just have fun aligning thoughts. Enjoy how it feels. Do more stuff you like, and love more. Carefree, no reason, no catalyst, no purpose or gains. Inspect thoughts about yourself & direct experience, there is much truth on the bone.

Hate is a belief, it’s intellectual, thought. At the very least, notice that if you are experiencing something - that’s an experience - not you. If one is to believe in hate at all, at least allow hate to be an emotion, and not self-hate, not an identity in any way. Using the emotional scale can work wonders in expressing blame, resentment, anger, etc, as emotions, which perhaps slowly but surely, brings about understand, and alleviates identifying with hate (or any emotion). Perhaps most key, is the recognition of your absolute use innocence. Whatever it is, so to speak, it is not your fault. Unconditional love & unconditional love does not make for an experience. Unconditional love must appear as other than what it is, for it to have an experience. In this forgetting, and in believing our thoughts and not listening to feeling, shit has got pretty crazy. There is no ‘thought solution’. For one and for all, there is only thought detachment and abiding in, listening to, feeling. You are feeling love, always. But it’s being labelled ‘hate’. Hate is thought, and the discord of the love that you are ‘not going along’ with the thought. If there were hate, if feeling were hate, then such thoughts would resound and resonate perfectly. But they do not resonate, because feeling is love, regardless of thought. So love yourself, by feeling the reactions of old arise, but not reacting. If it feels better to express it and ‘get it out’, hate someone, hate everyone, hate me for saying this, hate the entire world, but do not hate yourself for you are pure and innocent truly. The origin of the word ‘sin’, interestingly, is “to speak ill against the self”. Just say to yourself this will come and go, and focus on seeing, hearing, feeling, and breathing (instead of thought) and recognize contentment after the reaction comes & goes. You might be gut wrenched in the fetal position. That’s ok. Know that it will come and go, and don’t weave a story or narrative about yourself. You might vomit. That’s ok. Let it out, on’t buy any narratives. You might experience electric jolts. That’s ok. Don’t but into a narrative. It’s reactions playing out. The way to keep it going is to buy into the narrative about yourself, past and or future, and others. The way to bring reaction to end, is non-reaction. use like the only solution to violence is nonviolence. Just like the default is peace, and a narrative must be bought into for man to create war. Know the feeling of contentment. From the direct experience of ‘sitting with it’ and not reacting behaviorally, the feeling of contentment will be felt as peace, the true nature, you which is aware of thoughts. The thoughts will soon be known as apparent, as fleeting, impermanent, and completely powerless. Such is the analogy of thought as clouds coming and going, while the clear sky of peace & love is eternal and always present. If you were not worthy , deserving, and capable, God wouldn’t have put that dream in you. Keep ‘fighting the Good fight’. If & when you can, now is best, express that dream out of you and get it in front of you. Such as with a dreamboard or on paper, or just talking with someone who can shut up and listen. It is our nature to bloom, just like flowers. For humans, expressing is blooming. You don’t need to do anything. That’s how Good love is. Love is the present, in both the gift sense and the ‘now’ sense. Love is you which forgot itself by being experience, or, ‘SuicidalBug’. Imo, close your account. Start a new one, without identifying of the past. If that was who you are, it’d feel great. The recognition that it doesn’t resonate is everything. Start loving as much as you possibly can. Start understanding as much as possible. Accept all as much as possible. But note the distinction that you don’t need to do, say, act, change, or be anything other than who you are right now, to know the love that is. Uncover the love that you are, unwrap the layer of this present. A thousand wishes of wellness and infinite love for you. Stay on the well being path. I say these things having been there. Depression, suicidal, hateful, angry. You can and will transcend it.

@OneIntoOne Couldn’t agree more. If literally every single ‘movement’ of thought is not inspected and brought again & again to rest, we’re hijacking / bypassing and kidding ourselves. This isn’t sexy to talk about though, doesn’t make anyone look better, and it doesn’t move product so to speak. Unconditional love is shockingly humbling. The enlightened is the last, never the first, never the only, always the last. (From Corinthians) Is patient, is kind, does not envy, does not boast, is not proud, is not rude, is not self-seeking, is not easily angered, keeps no record of wrongs, does not delight in evil but rejoices in truth, always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
