Russians drink a lot of Vodka, for Americans it's beer. Both are cool people when met traveling through Asia.

We perceive age as being linear, but in practical terms it's a curve. Age differences matter less as time goes on, and they should be seen in a ratio context. When we were 5, a 10yo (x2) would seem much older to us, and a 20yo (x4) was considered a grownup. At 10, a 20yo would be middle-aged and a 40yo an oldie. A 10 year difference at 20 is meaningless at 60, and so on. On the surface it's the age difference ratio that matters. Below that, differences in maturity is the important factor.

Burning Man is way too dusty for me, @Lai. And you?
-
@Lai , I've stopped counting at 40.

Thanks for the concern, everything's Ok. But you never know when your time's up.

Oh, the Places You'll Go! You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You'll be on your way up! You'll be seeing great sights! You'll join the high fliers who soar to high heights. I'm sorry to say so but, sadly, it's true that Bang-ups and Hang-ups can happen to you. And when you're in a Slump, you're not in for much fun. Un-slumping yourself is not easily done. Somehow you'll escape all that waiting and staying You'll find the bright places where Boom Bands are playing. You're off to Great Places! Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting. So...get on your way!

... Which suggests they would also reject the now proven phenomenon of Quantum entanglement. That's the Einstein paradigm, arrived at its conclusion from a materialistic point of view. Any paradoxes encountered from this limited viewpoint (e.g. "spooky action at a distance"), are often "resolved" by introducing special nonlocality rules. Neither am I. There is something deeper that is behind "both" human consciousness and quantum realm's behavior. -

"Why" in Ralian language is short for "We're busy right now". -

The commonplace idea that the uncertainty principle found in Quantum measurements being the result of particle interactions is a misconception. The Wheeler's delayed choice experiment and in particular the Delayed choice quantum eraser experiment has put that misconception to rest. -
Nope. Apart from HUP, those are abstract mathematical "unknowns" - i.e. mind concepts that have no basis on "plain ordinary stuff". It is impossible to prove that unknowables exist other than in irrelevant and paradoxical mind constructs. @PureExp , live up to your post signature, and consider posting thoughts based on your personal direct experience.

In just about every Quantum Mechanics experiment, the observer (consciousness) is involved, and affects results to a very measurable degree. -
How does a magician create the seemingly impossible? Through illusion. We may or may not know the actual mechanism behind it, but this cannot be proven to be unknowable. How does motion seemingly arise from still pictures in movies? We may or may not know, but this is not unknowable. How many angels on the head of a pin? These are concepts arising from the illusory mind. We may or may not remain ignorant, but from my perspective this is not unknowable. Now, a Quantum physicist would argue that because we cannot determine the exact location and momentum of a particle at any given time, this would be a classical argument for the unknowable. My feeling is that this conundrum arises from being trapped in our materialistic paradigm - e.g., the question is fundamentally flawed due to our limited viewpoint. This may change as our paradigm shifts and we gain more knowledge, so this is not unknowable. Related: Mu Unknowable #262464195387 Fun fact: Graham's Number is so large that the observable universe is far too small to contain a digital or written description of it. Yet we know it ends in 7.

@PureExp , forget the other things - required explanations are way too long, if not irrelevant. "Unknowable" - simply something that cannot possibly be known by either the mind or heart - do you have an example of this?

@Vercingetorix, @Martin123 , break it up before the sheriff gets here. -
@PureExp , name an "unknowable".

Agreed. We've got to get away from Things. -
When trying to break through our paradigms, language is one of our biggest limiting factors. Words tend to lose the author's intended meaning as they are "translated" into familiar thoughts by our ears/eyes and mind. Best to bypass language and go for a more direct experience if possible.

Anyone else notice that Leo doesn't edit his videos? It's one take from beginning to end, with hardly any hmms or arrs in between. Amazing focus and skill. The guy is a natural - he should take up self-actualization/spiritual teachings.

@PureExp , let me put this in such a way a deep thinker like yourself can perhaps understand: Whilst the complete infinite knowledge may not possibly "fit" within the confines of the finite mind, every part of this vast knowledge has the potential to be discovered and understood by finite minds. There are no unknowables, only unknowns - don't let semantics trip you up.
