  1. @Aaron p what can you do if you have a thorn stuck in your finger but you don't see it?
  2. @Stoica Doru i did it all with my wife. ritual, celebration etc. it felt amazing. memorable moments!
  3. @sleeperstakes drop the "i'm so special" belief. we're all brothers and sisters, born from father and mother and walking towards the same fate.
  4. @MarkusSweden stop reproducing if you're irresponsible. it's that simple. if you're responsible and can help bring awesome human beings into this planet, please do so.
  5. @MarkusSweden why so much struggle? just drop the struggle...
  6. from "i" to "we", then from "we" to "i" again. notice that everyone points to the same thing when they say "i", even though they may think that they're pointing to a separated unit.
  7. "everyone should..." is a straightforward advice. he's either contradicting himself or calling himself stupid. pick one
  8. @Cortex still contradicting yourself. you're funny
  9. are you struggling to find something that you can define as yourself? don't worry. 99.99999999% of the human beings are on the same boat. also, it can't be done.
  10. @Sashaj bad news: nobody else can answer those questions for you good news: nobody else can answer those questions for you even if jesus appeared and told you the answers, why would you believe him? there's no ultimate authority other than Direct Experience.
  11. @stevegan928 hello there i'm sorry for your friend. i recommend that you don't try to figure out why he would do that. instead, i'd use this context to figure out why i am alive and what i want to do with my life. pain is uncomfortable but it can help us break through our limits.
  12. what is the root cause of your anxiety?
  13. @Tistepiste i don't have autism so i don't know better. i'm going to talk a little bit about myself. i went to several psychiatrists/psychologists in the past and all of them were completely helpless. so i decided to take care of my health by myself, like every adult should do. i started to observe the situations that made me suffer and i was able to understand the pattern. i was studying myself through the lens of direct experience, not like we study about other things. i became conscious of the sources of my struggles and then i managed to change my daily habits in a way that the bad patterns wouldn't get fed anymore. sometimes it does require radical change. i remember that i had to suddenly decide to go out for a walk a few times that i noticed that i was starting to live in my head. i had to learn how to get out of my head and inhabit my whole body. i started to practice lots of things. tai chi, yoga, biodance... anything that would require me to be conscious of my body while breathing and moving. this is why i highly recommend those practices for people who haven't learned how to enjoy being as a body yet. the body experience can be extremely liberating.
  14. chimpanzees and dolphins are capable of knowing that it's them on the mirror. they start to behave silly and enjoy watching themselves. chimpanzees also start exploring some part of their bodies and doing interesting stuff like cleaning their teeth.
  15. @Dan Arnautu you're still drowning in mental masturbation. thinking about spiritual concepts is not there yet. why do you think nobody is allowed to talk on zen retreats?
  16. What do you mean?? What you want to say? I don't understand i mean good for you because she was honest. now you can move on.
  17. too much brainwashing
  18. @30secs your intellectual knowledge about nonduality doesn't matter. live it every second instead. remember, it's not about knowing.
  19. @John Iverson be healthy. if you want to share intimacy, find healthy people. but be healthy first.
  20. this is why one should avoid beef at all costs nowadays: too much devastation to plant soy just to feed oxen. if we keep up with our consumption rhythm, the amazon forest will be gone in a few decades
  21. the way that we treat others is a reflection of the way we treat ourselves. i'm not here to tell you that you need to respect others. i'm here to tell you that you can live without the internal agony that i know you go through almost everyday or maybe everyday. it is possible to live in a more gentle way, healthier, building healthy relationships. it can be done. you don't need hide behind your self-image all the time. you don't need to spend this tremendous amount of energy trying to sell your image. why so much struggle? why so much loneliness?
  22. @Cortex very interesting stuff. please, tell me more about you.
  23. @triadne make videos. record audios. collect data that will serve you when you call the cops.
