ajasatya replied to AstralProjection's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@AstralProjection that was very intense! existence is like "again! again!" the magic of the deepest mystery never gets old. -
@ThomasT ask yourself: how would it be like to be on your deathbed and feel like you didn't accomplish anything in your life? if i were you, i'd leave the money invested, making sure that a small part of it could be easily recovered in cases of emergencies, and would move on as if i didn't have it. life tastes better when you actually challenge yourself.

@kieranperez anything you do, if you do it with higher quality than everyone else... then nobody can stop you. i think that deep down inside, you're scared of committing to the process of choosing something and becoming good at it. do you fear failure?

it's wonderful... the universe cannot grasp itself. it screams: I AM AND I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT! -

@Anirban657 if you want somethng to believe, you're screwed. if you want the Truth, let go of all beliefs. -

@mochafrap why do chemical reactions happen? -
@Jedd it's a good idea if you can do it with a pure heart, that is, if you're not expecting to be praised and have a sincere desire to improve other people's lives.

@Lynnel i touch my smartphone 4~5 time in a day, just to check if someone needs me on whatsapp. when it comes down to schedules, i like to exercise my memory.

yes. but what i say doesn't matter much. don't turn it into a dogma. -
@Ampresus quit the milk+cornflakes... horrible combination.

@dubbyalex3 try spending an entire month without challenges. you'll see that we actually depend on challenges to enjoy life. it's the nature of all animals. people who choose to live a complacent and lazy life deteriorate VERY QUICKLY.

@Baldmunt let go. seek real experiences. text messages aren't meant to fulfill the depth of human connection. we've gone through millions of years of evolution by touching, hearing and seeing our partners. the only way i've seen ldrs work is when both have a crystal clear practical plan to marry and live together.

that's how i met my wonderful wife.

@Roman Edouard this kind of study doesn't work if you take the scientific approach of describing what things are, using the third person. we're talking about the foundation of being. WHAT is reading these word RIGHT NOW? where does IT come from? -

@Roman Edouard what were you before your birth? where did you come from? -

the buddha taught something highly desired among serious spiritual seekers during his lifetime. he did teach about causation, explaining the mechanics of what people called "reincarnation", even though he said that no separated entity reincarnates. he did teach about the mechanics of the experience of Reality, trying to explain the flaw behind the matter/spirit duality that was very popular. but the most important part of his teachings was the path to experience enlightenment without the need for beliefs. there was no joke involved. very very slow now. the buddha taught about letting go of egoic desires so that you could finally be serious about investigating yourself. there's nothing wrong with creating a meaning for yourself. the mistake lies behind believing that there is a fundamental meaning and suffering because of that. during his last minutes, he asks vehemently if anyone had any final question for him. nobody had the courage to ask him anything at that moment and then he died. you see... he was actually very concerned about his teachings because he was aware of how deep in the human "mindsphere" they would penetrate. that's why we still benefit from them 2600 years after his death. he understood causation thus he could comprehend the karma of his wisdom. it does have a cosmic value. but aja, we're too small in the universe! it depends! if we zoom out, we're infinitely insignificant. but if we zoom in, we're infinitely colossal! -
@zunnyman only accept as valid what you can validate on your own. it doesn't matter who says it. always ask yourself: "is it compatible with my own direct experience of life?"

what does "enlightenment" even mean to you?
