@sk1n1m1n afaik, fibromylagia is closely related to emotional issues. do you have any severe trauma? anything related to your childhood, relationships, parents etc?

example: start a blog and teach what you have to learn. teaching is the best way to organize mental content.

@LoveandPurpose build something with the knowledge you'll need. create a real need for your learning process.

because you enjoy. there is no other reason. enjoy your life and that's all you need to do. everything else is nonsense. leo does what he does because he enjoys it in the long run.

@Paul92 i REALLY think you're trying to bypass some fundamental problems. like, can you go out and have a simple conversation with a girl? how is your relationship with your parents? are they divorced? does their relationship hurt you? don't overlook basic emotional problems. deal with them first. ground yourself. you can't go anywhere if you're just drifting around.

you're being dogmatic and that's why you're stuck. forget about what leo says and do your own investigation. as an analogy, it's like trying to solve complex ordinary differential systems without knowing how to solve simple deterministic linear systems. kill your buddhas. be your own authority. learn how to solve linear systems first.

it's not neo advaita. it's just people. people take their ignorance to wherever they go. the world is full of ignorant "christians", "buddhists", "yogis", "atheists", "agnostics" etc.

what i am saying is that science cannot express Truth, even though it's the goal. it's a beautiful and paradoxical dance. i am in the duality between science and Truth as i am in the duality between the name of the emotion and the emotion itself. the duality between the name of a color and the perception of a color. "there's still duality, thus falsity". no sir, duality is an intrinsic aspect of Truth

it is dumb at some point. the prediction is not 100% accurate. no prediction made in science is 100% accurate. no model can ever be 100% accurate.

@kieranperez it's alright. people will keep misunderstanding what models are and why they exist. every model is a dumb simplification at some point. even the most sophisticated equations in physics.

models do not make us more aware of the mechanics of reality. becoming more aware of the mechanics of reality empowers us to build more precise models. models are useful for taking shortcuts in decision making. there is no warranty of optimality or corretude.

nope, it's just Reality doing its own magic. but we can be aware of the magic being done.

@Nahm scientific/abstract models of Reality is like "knowledge" about how to move your arm. you can create the most accurate models, but those models will never reach Truth. It's the same about moving your arm. some people do not have much dexterity and some people are acrobats. that's like the difference between lay people and scientists.

it's an extension of the knowledge about how to "move your arm", for example. there isn't really a "knowledge" entity, so to speak. we simply become aware of higher levels of reality's mechanics. you don't know how to activate each cell separately from your muscle tissues. but you are aware of how to make your arm move, or an apple fall, or a car move or an airplane fly.

@breathe582 i'm going to be bluntly honest on this one. break up with him and focus on yourself. become a healthier person and work on your studies. you will find a better partner later. right now you don't need a partner that's good for you. you don't need your family to be better for you. you have to be a better person to yourself. that's your job and yours only. work hard, live well.

PS: i am a scientist. scientists measure and model stuff. science cannot reach the Truth about the nature of Reality. science works under severe constraints related to the very act of measuring. woo-woo stuff? what if i told you that woo-woo can be closer to Truth than any scientific abstraction?

be still and know that i am GOD i is one of the most advanced gadgets of existence. it is GOD acknowledging itself, being aware of itself. the thing that "spiritual people" fight against is the very essence of GOD. nothingness sees the world and these words come from NOWHERE. "i am" - GOD

this is where most people get stuck. meditation alone is not enough. what happens during meditation sessions is a consequence of your daily karma (thoughts, words, acts, emotions etc). if you want to experience true peace of mind, you need to reconstruct the way you live.
